High marks for a genuine tavern serving up delicious tavern food (not "bar" food). All seats have backs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came on New Years Day so the weekday lunch specials were available. I got the grilled cheese of the month (shaved Italian beef, I chose banana peppers, tomato and mayo as toppings). It was perfect. The buttery sourdough bread is ideal for this type of sandwich, and the homemade tomato bisque rich and creamy with a nice little spice kick. The parmesan kettle chips were incredibly delicious. Usually I'm not a fan of kettle chips being too hard but these were nice and crispy. Lots of good food to eat for ten bucks! My husband had Mr B's burger and upgraded to sidewinder potatoes. Two thumbs up on both. Sometimes it's the little things that really put it over the top. Mr B's has spicy brown mustard available and make sure you ask for some to dip those soft and salty buckeye pretzel bites! Try it and thank me later. Service was excellent from being greeted, getting questions answered, to being checked on and finally having our leftovers boxed up. Visited Mr Boros one Friday evening with a large group for dinner. They have quite an extensive menu from shrimp baskets and burgers, to flatbreads and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. We started with the hot honey bites which was basically deep fried cream cheese with a hot honey dip. They were amazing! For dinner I got the chicken bacon ranch flatbread which was also very good! Hubby & I were out running errands & needed to grab a quick lunch. We drove by this place & thought it looked inviting. The bartender was serving the entire place by herself (10 seated at the bar + 10 tables). Despite that, she did a great job! I only saw one cook in the kitchen so he was doing a good job also. I ordered a cheeseburger (which came with kettle chips) while hubby got a bowl of chili (which was topped with shredded cheese & onions). My burger was average & a little dry. The owner is great and present and the bartenders are wonderful. Claire is always great and very attentive. She knows her drinks and keeps things going. Love the nights with live music. They are a great local bar and hang out. I hope they Are around a long time. They do a good service to the community for gathering people together with food and drink. I was here on a Sunday afternoon during football season and I was shocked how empty it was. It never got busier than 10 people. But I don't know why because the food was to die for!!! I was so impressed by the menu and the food as it came out of the kitchen. The goat cheese BLT was so so good and I will be getting that again. A group of us flew into Wright Brothers and had a few days in Dayton for work. We ended up here since it was a short drive from our hotel. The atmosphere was just what we wanted. We could control the music through an app, plenty of TVs, and a very friendly staff. The hot dog sliders were very tasty. I was excited to try them since I've never seen this before. I also loved the seasoning that came on the chips. My other colleagues both loved the flat bread pizza and nachos. The Miami Valley Mule was very tasty and the drink options were above average. The draft beer was pricey but we still enjoyed it. Cari behind the bar was fantastic. We left that night having made a new friend in the area. She took care of us and made our night enjoyable. Wow what a great place in Springboro for a quick drink or night cap. The patio ambiance is amazing and we got to experience a special singer by the name of Ashley Martin. The menu looked amazing and the even had pretzel bites. Even though we did not order any food the tavern smelled amazing. However they have a great selection of foods and beverages. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to experience the food as we sat to the left or right of the the tavern and kept asking for someone to take our drinks but they never showed up after waiting 10 minutes. Even though we were not at a table no wait staff cared to wait on us despite that were customers and paid guest. What a complete disappointment? I guess they could use some additional serving staff that cared to wait on guest not sitting by the table. I guess we were sitting in the "No serve section area". Wow.. Well I would have provided better feedback but unfortunately when you come to a new place for a quick drink and it is not so quick because the outdoor staff could not wait on us because we were in undesignated area is poor service to say the least. Lastly, the bartenders insider were amazing. The actually cared to wait on us and provide us menus and drink options. Did not even want to rate one star. My friends and I were refused service here. We are all 2019 UD grads and from different parts of the country. We were in town because a friend of ours bought his first house in this area (so many of us with different state IDs). We are a group ranging from 24-25 year olds and they would not let us drink here because we had Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky IDs. They would not serve anyone without Ohio IDs. If you are in your 20s and from out of town, or thinking about bringing out of town friends, save your time. read more

I we've been here a few times and we like the venue but the wait staff/bartenders are hit or miss. Your website and Yelp says open till 2:30 AM, Google said 11 PM. We were there on a Sunday and at 8:40 PM told the kitchen closed, more people came in so they ended up cooking us food. At 930 PM the staff turned off all of the TVs and 1/2 the lights in the seating area. We had just finished our food and still had half our beers left. Clearly they wanted to close, we guzzled our beer and left at 10 PM, we chatted in parking lot and at 10:08 the bartender left and the place was dark and closed. Either they just closed up early or your hours are posted wrong, if so please update so people arrive earlier. While we were chatting in the parking lot another car came through to stop in as well to see you were closed. As far as beer and food, the beer list is good and it rotates frequently, the wines by the glass are from decent brands not the usual bottom shelf a lot of sports bars offer. The food is decent, meatballs are very good as well as the Philly Cheesesteak. Agreed with other reviews the burger is just one of those preformed processed burgers, not my favorite. The Caesar salad, romaine had a lot of brown but the dressing was good. One reviewer referenced chic menu, disagree. I wish there was a grilled chicken sandwich of some sort. The venue has a nice outdoor patio and garage door. My biggest complaint is the staff and be consistent on your hours (update websites). If the staff want to leave early on Sundays, well than change the hours. I understand booting people out close to closing time but according to internet we were there well before closing. read more

Stopped in with a friend for a drink. There was an empty table that was dirty, so we stood next to it. Waitress came over and proceeded to wipe the table down with the dirty napkin from the table. I'll start off with this: service wasn't great. BUT if you can get past that, this was a great place to enjoy a warm summer evening as a young 20-something. There were people of all ages, but most importantly, no kids after 3pm. I really like that stipulation. I enjoyed the local tavern/sports bar theme. This was something springboro had really been lacking - we have nice dinner spots like Heather's, lots of chains like Bar145 and BW3s, but no local watering hole that you actually want to go to to have more than 1 or 2 drinks. Mr. Boro's fills that void! Now living out of state, I come back to Springboro occasionally to visit my parents, and I will definitely be coming here when I want a night out. read more

Very homey little spot that already feels a bit like "Cheers!" Because the bartender knows my name! No, literally! I explained that it was my first time stopping in and Courtney introduced herself, asked my name then called my by it all night even though I wasn't the only person there! Absolutely fabulous person to have working behind the bar. I was given plenty of time to look over the menus. They have wine and a selection of craft beer (is there any other beer?) I had a very good IPA while I waited for my dinner and chatted with Courtney. You can see that they already have a local loyal following (I'm sure that has something to do with Courtney) because every time someone walked in they were greeted by name. All the patrons were friendly as well and struck up many conversations. The only damper was my meal. It wasn't terrible, I didn't complain and I ate it... it just wasn't great either. I ordered the buffalo chicken grilled cheese which was served with chips and was supposed to have buffalo chicken dip on it. I only got a slight hint of buffalo flavor and absolutely no chicken. It just wasn't what I expected. Like I said, I ate it, but wouldn't order it again. With dinner I ordered a Miami Valley Mule. I probably should not have because no other mule will ever compare to how good this one was! It was fresh and zingy and amazing. I would definitely order THIS again! I love the "no one under 21 after 3" rule. Sad that you have to tell parents that their children shouldn't be in a tavern but I'm glad they did. It made for a peaceful and relaxing evening. Nice tavern. Plenty of room inside and out. Really nice lay out with TVs all over the place for watching games. Beer selection on tap is limited to mostly local craft (about 5) and Miller or Bud Light. Good selection of bottled beer and cocktails. FYI the Miami Valley Mule is great.
