Review of the Lower the Bar "speakeasy" located underneath Entropy Brewing. I only went downstairs to Lower the Bar, and I did not try any food. Things to Note: -The exterior stairs were locked when we came. There's another set of stairs within Entropy itself. -I did not see an elevator to make it into this basement speakeasy. There is an outdoor and indoor set of stairs. -There is a single unisex restroom downstairs with the speakeasy. It's a tight fit, but it exists. If you need more space, there are a lot more bathrooms upstairs. -Good variety of seating from booths, low top tables, a few bar high top chairs, and a table with high top chairs. -It is DARK down here. Our eyes took some readjusting to the sunlight when we left. If you struggle with lower light areas, this may be too dark. They went for the "super dark, lit by table lights only" vibe here. -There was live music when we came. The music is a bit loud downstairs, and I wouldn't call the acoustics great, but the band themselves were fantastic and energetic. Very friendly and had a great vibe for the space. Our bartender, Hank, was fantastic, though. Absolutely MADE the experience, and Entropy is lucky to have him. Super friendly guy who understands the balance between too much talking and giving you some space. His drinks were well-poured and very balanced. This includes when he had some deadtime and offered to make us drinks if we just let him know what spirit and flavor profile we were thinking. The drinks were delicious and, again, very well-balanced. Hank could probably work quite a bit more magic with a larger spirits selection, but he was very good at what he did. We had a great time, and we'd definitely return. I'm not sure the return visit would be nearly as amazing without Hank though. He really made the entire experience a memorable one that we'll look back on instead of just a "solidly okay speakeasy". read more

Stopped in a beautiful day for a couple beers and an appetizer. I really like the feel of this place they had a kids are with a jungle gym open to the sidewalk. Nice bar area with a secluded back room and a speakeasy downstairs. We had the chips and a trio of dips the queso was very good and the guacamole with cilantro was very good. The Mexican street corn was good but a bit too much cumin. The chips were hot and seasoned with paprika. The beers were very good I had both the darks beers and she had the summer ale. First visit. My daughter was visiting from Phoenix. Sat at the bar. Had like 30 beers on tap. Wife and I ordered a Brazilian cocktail which were excellent. Food was ordered at the back and delivered to your table. All the food was tasty. Chips and salsa outstanding. Service was par excellence. Trivia night was sooo much fun. We came in second. This place has a lot of different spaces to fit whatever you're looking for. The main section has a lots of seating and natural light. Around the corner (still inside) there's a playset for the kiddos. Outside there's a nice courtyard with plenty of tables and chairs. Finally, there's a 21+ speakeasy downstairs with a stage for live music. We definitely want to come back some evening to check that out! I ordered a Kolsch and hubby ordered a flight. I'm not sure what I ended up getting but it definitely wasn't a Kolsch...it was darker and more cloudy than a typical Kolsch. It was ok, so I just went ahead and drank that instead of going back to the bar to exchange it. They don't have a wait staff, so you go up to the bar or to the kitchen counter to order your food or drink. We ordered the dip trio from the kitchen. You can choose 3 out of 4 of their dips to go with tortilla chips. We got a HUGE tray of chips along with corn dip, queso, and guac. All three were very tasty. Service was good. We were the only people out on the patio at the time and someone came out to check on us and take away dishes we were done with. All in all, I think Entropy is a good addition to the blossoming downtown area of Miamisburg and we plan to return some evening for live music. read more

I love that they opened in Miamisburg! Come check out downtown, this cute brewery fits right in! The brewery has some yummy food and some great drink choices. I'm not a fan of beer like friends were, but I was able to find some cocktails that were yummy. Very cute inside and tastefully decorated. I didn't check it out but they have a speakeasy open on the weekends I was told. Definitely worth a trip to downtown Miamisburg. read more

Friend and I popped into Entropy while waiting on some others.. Ended up snagging a couple beers and a chips/dip. Super cool/clean place overall with very friendly service. They have a mostly full bar upstairs as well as a window to order snacks/food. They also stock some hot sauce to add a bit of heat to whatever you order. The beers were nice and hit the spot. The chips and dip trio was good overall, nice mix of different dips. They do have a bit of a kids play area inside if the kids need something to do. There also appears to be a cool looking bar downstairs, but it wasn't open since we were there earlier in the day. read more

the vibe at this place is incredible!! you feel like you are in cincinnati or chicago. instead you are in the safe and adorable downtown miamisburg. this place has it all. the upstairs is bright and cool with a variety of beers on tap and a full bar. off to the side they even have an area with a play area for the kids, with a garage door wall that opens up to the sidewalk. the downstairs is 21 and up, a cool speakeasy with a cocktail bar. you can get food too!! this is one of the coolest bars i have been to read more

We stopped by on Sunday as they were having mimosa flights. Entropy has recently opened and we were super excited to try a new brewery and even more glad that we did. They have awesome vegan options for food and the mimosa flights were on point. They have some great beers and look forward to them hopefully having more variety of sours in the future. Love the atmosphere upstairs...very bright and welcoming. Cool dark area downstairs too. Am not a fan of the food at all. Have tried twice. Burger and waffle fries had no flavor. Second time I tried nachos with chicken and the chicken looked fake and again nothing really didn't have much flavor. Will go again for a great time to hang out with friends in a cool area but definitely eat somewhere else. Heard they've started Trivia on Wednesdays...looking forward to checking that out! read more

Staff was polite and informative and the location is clean and well kept, unfortunately, this place is not for everybody; the focus seems more about lifestyle and social media influencer type vibes, than actual beer and food.
