8 oz new york strip, asparagus
Macey T.

Love the vibe of this place! Service was friendly but the food was slow, not a bad trade for decent steak. I had the 8 oz NY strip and my mom had the 12 oz, both were ordered medium rare and brought out more medium-well done which was slightly disappointing (upon noting this we were given a bit of a discount). The elderflower gin & tonic was delicious and well balanced! Overall a great experience.

I have been wanting to try Speakeasy Steak & Ale House for a long time and thankfully I was finally able to go at the very end of May. My family went and we enjoyed every moment of our time here. The place has this old meets modern flair with an eclectic twist in its decor. Check out the pictures it feels artsy with a mix of old and new. I really digged the vibes. The service is excellent. Our waiter was affable. We had as our starter some wings with boom boom sauce, it was a nice twist to the old tried and true appetizer. My mother got some chicken breasts with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. She loved every bite! My brother was impressed by the Ghost of Jack Dempsey burger... he said the flavor and the heat was incredible! I loved the tomahawk ribeye! Almost overwhelmed by the depth of flavor... My brother and I just did not have room for dessert, my mom did. She went for the bread pudding... she said she wished she had room for a second of that... This place is gold! Absolute gold!

Mary Pickford cocktail

First when you walk in it's the cutest little place. Super clean, playing music from the 20s, very intimate. The staff were so sweet and super nice! I had the Mary Pickford cocktail and it was great. My husband orders a bone in ribeye, asparagus, and a salad. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin, sweet potato, salad, and a lobster roll. The presentation was phenomenal. Food was wonderful. The seasoning on the steaks are to die for! We also got the button appetizer too, it was yummy! Our first time here, we were celebrating my husband's birthday and we can't wait to come back!

Caprese Stack

Had a wonderful time dining with my husband! We were sat at a high top in the back that was very private & we loved that. I ordered the 8oz sirloin with caprese stack & fries. Loved everything besides the fries. They may be good to some but they just weren't our style. My husband ordered the Chase's York Burger & said it may have been the best burger he's ever had. The server was attentive & kind. We will definitely be back!

This place is just fabulous! Our son lives in town going to school for last couple years and I am saddened I haven't been here before! We had an excellent server Chase that took care of us. The drinks were great I recommend the mules and any gin drink. Scallop appetizer and caprese were tasty. We especially liked the house warm bacon vinaigrette. Our steaks were excellent and our one son had the shrimp tacos which were amazing. The atmosphere is so cozy. We will definitely be back.

Bananas Foster

My favorite spot in Celina! Steaks are amazing, I recommend the Delmonico Ribeye, that's my go to.. They always have a unique brew on tap and the bourbon selection is the best in the area! For dessert try the banana foster, it's out of this world!

The food was good. Everything else needed work. We waited 30 minutes next door at the little martini bar. The Old Fashion was terrible, the Margarita was great. Once our table was ready we waited nearly 15 minutes to get service. We were promised bread....no bread. Appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops were good. When we ordered dinner they were out of kabobs and corn. My steak was cooked perfectly and my wife enjoyed her scallop dinner. The food was good everything else needs lots of work.

A great Mercer county steak

This is a fine eating steak house in Mercer County. I am from Celina but currently live in Doylestown, PA. I travel for work and eat at many steak houses while traveling. As many of you know I am on a low carb diet so I like to eat at steak houses. Today, I ordered a 12 oz. NY strip rare. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted exactly like I liked it. There really is not too much to say beyond that. It was brown and hot on the outside and red on the inside. It had a very good sear. The wine list was a little limited but you would expect that in Mercer County. However the wine that was available was reasonably priced and the bottle that we drank (a California blend) was very good. The staff was friendly, and we talked to them about the local restaurant scene. It was a little icy outside which made it so we had the place to ourself. The decor was very reminiscent of the former coffee shop. That being said it was quiet and the music was conducive for good conversation. The bottom line is this is a high end steak house in Mercer County. This one gets 4 Siberian Husky paws up!! Highly recommended if you are in Celina.

My steaks were tough. I have the New York strip and the sirloin and a ribeye. but the service was pretty good. I enjoyed the salad.

She made sure that the water was filled and that the food was perfect. I can't stay enough how amazing the food is. I feel that it is on par with the nearby farm table restaurant. The food is cooked to perfection and also uses many tasty ingredients. All the food seems to be cooked from scratch. One of the most underrated restaurants and likely a top contender for best restaurant now in Fort Wayne.

The bad: I made a reservation for bar seating since we were going dressed very casual. It was a quiet night so we didn't really need ireservations but I didn't know what to expect being our first time here. The bar seating was the problem. We were seated in a booth, no surprise there. The problem is that 60-70% of the booths in the bas area are elevated. Why is that a problem? There is nothing under your feet, no bar, no platform, nothing. So there I sat with my legs dangling like a little kid at the grown-up table. It was terrible. I should have just moved to the bar rail but I shouldn't have to. Whoever made the design decisions related to the elevated booths must have been in the NBA. This seating cost you 2 starts, it was that bad. At least I know if I go back to reserve the normal dining section or just sit at the bar rail where this is your choice of a platform for your feet or a foot rung on the chairs.

Better than ramen I've had in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. The chili oil or sashuan oil is not as hot as I thought. Easy to eat, even if you can't tolerate much spice. Staff was super amazing. Shout out to the guy behind the bar. Rockin' beard and rockin' attitude. Easy 30-minute drive from Beaver Creek, Wright-Pat area, but so worth it.

I wasn't as surprised this time by the location in a neighborhood, something that gives it a very welcome feel and suggests with the addition of a covered outdoor porch with picnic tables that this is a good neighborhood hang. I was late for lunch, almost two but there were some folks still finishing up. Good vibe, good music and casual atmosphere. I opted for the Takoyaki app which was tasty and not so burning hot that it scorched the roof of your mouth. Also the right amount of mayonnaise as opposed to often an excess. The Ramen Flight was fun in principle but I wouldn't do it again. I unwisely and perhaps naively assumed there would be mini versions of the full serving of Tonkotsu broth with Mayo, Thai curry and Szechuan with scallions. But it really is just the broth and ramen. Expected the Szechuan to have some heat and peppery lip buzz but did not. The Thai curry was super salty. Just missed some option of veggies and protein. Finally I would suggest not sitting near the front near the stairs to the kitchen. The spot has competing music soundtracks with two different play lists battling between your two ears.

As much as I LOVE my hometown, "Field of Springs" Speakeasy Ramen (check it out!!) this new-ish location in Troy is OFF THE CHARTS good!! This was a very last minute decision to meet friends over in Troy, so I broke my STRICT rule and didn't check the EXTENSIVE menu ahead of time. They offer a few of the "best of" from Speakeasy Ramen, but TONS of different, DELICIOUS choices!! We shared a crab rangoon app and sushi arancini balls that were just AMAZING. One friend got the ramen flight (great idea for sampling, btw!!) and the other friend orders a philly cheese steak roll, and I got the hakodate ramen, which was WONDERFUL!! We didn't drink, but their cocktail list looks great as well!! I know I say it every time I "discover" a great new place, but I TRULY wanted one of EVERYTHING on their menu!! Beautiful decor, GREAT food, fair pricing and friendly service, I'm HOOKED!! What a PERFECT addition to downtown Troy's culinary "scene!!" Check 'em out!!

The ramen here is delicious. No fret if you don't care for ramen - there are many other options and something for anyone. The secret winner though are the cocktails. Very unique and delightfully balanced are perfect on their own but really paired with the delicious food menu.
