a view of the outside of a restaurant

I went to 950 for drinks with my family twice over the holiday break. The first time I went we sat inside and also tried their charcuterie board. The second visit we sat outside by the fire pit with our dogs. The location is right on the river. You can access one of the beginning parts of the river trail here. It is really cute inside. The bartenders made great cocktails and were extremely accommodating for our group each visit.

    Stromboli

Went with some friends for lunch. We all tried something a different. One got a pizza. It looked really good. Another got the ham and cheese sandwich and said it was good and I could see it steaming hot. I got a Stromboli but was surprised to have it served on the same bread that my friend's ham sandwich was made on. It was all the normal ingredients of a Stromboli just served differently. It was not very hot when it was served. The last one in our group got a bratwurst in blanket. He thought it was pretty good and served steaming hot. Our server was polite and prompt in taking care of us. It was warm so we sat inside but they do have nice seating outside. Parking was easy right in front of location. Would visit again when in the area.

    Pizza

I would rename this restaurant as a well decorated, authentic, & cozy pizza shop (with a decent bar). The pizza was a crispy thin crust that was quite good. Their cocktail menu is lame and focuses entirely on citrusy/sweet drinks with annoying combinations of liquor. The cocktail I got (hanging rock) was a bourbon/elderflower drink that was extremely tart. Decent draft menu though! I would come back because the pizza and atmosphere.

My wife and I stumbled into this after hiking at Salamonie State Forest. What a gem! The pizza was excellent, the service was friendly, and we sat on a deck looking out over the Wabash river on a gorgeous day. A bald eagle landed in a tree right by the river. Really a nice night!

Quaint little place in Lagro. Service was excellent and the food was good. We will be going back on a Saturday night to enjoy the Bar Scene.

Our first trip to Roho. A very laid back vibe with wonderfully welcoming service. I'd rate the…read moreservice and the ambiance 5 stars. The custom drinks and martinis were excellent. Our party of four ordered four different drinks - and then everyone so much loved their choice, we all reordered the exact same drink for round two. I'd give the bar list and bartender 5 stars. We sampled 3 different flatbreads. Two of them lacked flavor, one was not crispy, but very undercooked. I've seen this complaint more than a few times in reviews so it seems like something they'd address. Snack mix was good. Crostini delicious. Salad nice - although one small piece of avocado on what was billed as an avocado and blackberry salad was a disappointment. I'd rate the food 3 stars. Overall we enjoyed the vibe, the drinks and the mellow live music.

No, it's RoHo's, as in the first two letters of the owners' names: Rogers and Howell. Clever! When I visited RoHo's, the place was hopping. It was comedy night, and I could barely find a seat. I ended up sitting on a couch with three women I didn't know, but they were people who were beautiful and amazing, and did amazing things in the community. I lucked out! The service here is so efficient and friendly. Despite the crush of people, I managed to get my French 77 quickly. It was well balanced and very tasty, and made me feel so much better about being surrounded by strangers. Mostly, though, RoHo's specializes in martinis. The entrance to RoHo's is unassuming, so you might miss it if you're not looking sharp. So, look sharp!

Terrible visit! I'm from Indy and staying here temporarily. I'm a contractor. I looked this place…read moreup, seen decent reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I went in with my service animal, as I do everywhere. SERVICE ANIMAL!! A toy miniature Australian Shepherd. There were only 12-14 people in the whole place, which seemed strange for a Saturday evening. It took a while, but the waiter finally came over. I was asking about a couple things on the menu, but they were out of most everything. So... Chicken quesadillas was the special. I was hungry, so I settled with those. I also ordered the moon balls, which they highly advertise, and they were out of those as well. I ordered a two hearted ale by bells. He brought the wrong beer. No biggie. I like the other one also. I didn't even say anything. While my food was being cooked, the bartender came around and brought another patron. The patron had a baby in her arms. They ask if they could see Merlin. He's a very quiet dog, but when he meets someone new, he let out a single bark. Then, he seen the baby and let out another bark. He loves babies. I noticed other people, in the bar, said, "Awe"! After they played with Merlin for a little bit, he returned to the table. My food came out shortly after and I started eating. Then... The owner comes out. She said I'm going to have to leave because it's unsanitary to have a dog in there. I explained nicely to her that he was a service animal and that I had a disability he helps me with. She asked me what the disability was. I explained to her that the HIPAA protects me from disclosing my medical information. She said it didn't matter. It was unsanitary and he was disruptive. I explained to her that her own bartender asked to see Merlin. He wasn't aggressive. He was just excited to meet someone. Then, he seen the baby. She didn't care. Told me I needed to leave. I asked her about the food and she said she would wrap it up for me. I asked her if I had to pay for it then. She said yes. I very calmly told her that she needs to Google a service animal. He is more than allowed by law, to be in a restaurant. He's not allowed in the kitchen or where they store food. I told her I would gladly finish my meal, pay for it and then leave. I gave her a chance to go check the law, but instead, she called the law. I was outside, taking a video of another patron who had left. I had forgot the bartenders name, so I tried to open the door and ask. By the way... Merlin was not with me at that time. I went back without him. The door was locked. I finished the video with the other patron and started to leave. Obviously, I was outside on the sidewalk because she had locked the door. As I turn to leave, I heard someone say, "excuse me, sir". I turned around and it was a police officer. He told me the owner didn't want me at the establishment and that I needed to go away for today. Not forever. Just for the day. I gave him a brief synopsis, and four more police officers showed up. I mean... They came in at a high rate of speed, lights, flashing, and all jumped out of their vehicles. It was terrifying. I guess the police here don't even know about service animals and persons with disabilities rights. I explained to him that I was leaving anyway. He called me back. I mean... If you see a person walking away, and your goal is to get them to leave, isn't it over? It's happened to me a couple times. People don't understand how the law works, regarding a service animal. She repeatedly used the word, "unsanitary". I will be filing a discrimination lawsuit. It was ridiculous. I gave her a chance to google the law. I also remained very calm throughout the conversation. If there is a local Attorney, who would like to help with this case, please comment. I do have a video statement, from the other patron, saying that he was not disruptive. She actually enjoyed seeing him.

Walking into this building off Canal St. in Wabash, IN you would NEVER expect what you find. Everything from the seating to the tables and art on the walls to the drinks and food screams heart and soul. Julie seems to have poured every ounce of her being into this place and you feel the warmth and joy the moment you step through the doors. M and I went here last night and I want to go back to again tonight! We were lucky enough to sit next to the kitchen and speak with Julie throughout our evening. We started with drinks, I got a Ginger Citrus Mocktail and M got a Vodka Soda, the mocktail was AMAZING!!! Then we ordered the Bruschetta and the tomatoes were amazingly prepared and the balsamic glaze was the perfect pairing. I opted for the Grilled Mediterranean Chicken Skewers for my main course and the little pearls of quinoa and couscous were like little pillows on your tongue! The flavors all married so well together and the chicken and Tatziki were amazing! M got two orders of Roast Beef Sliders, and I now know why now, they were amazing, freshly toasted from the oven, and the perfect combination of sweet and savory! We ended the night with BOTH desserts and there was NOTHING left on the plate after I was done, we got the Brownie and the Butter Cake -- delicious!!! I encourage everyone to try this spot out, and if you do, make sure you have NO plans after because you will not want to leave! We can't wait to go back again!
