Sliders with bleu cheese, caramelized onions, and the remains of a smoked Old Fashioned.
    Carl D.

Popped into Moon Dog early enough on a First Friday that it wasn't too crazy. THAT was about to change, but the staff was up to the challenge. First order of business was a smoked Old Fashioned. My bartender made it the old-school way, muddling sugar, cherries, and orange slice and bitters before adding the bourbon. Then he smoked it in front of the guest (no picture; sorry!) which made it more fun and added a bit of flavor. They have an extensive list of craft cocktails as well as standards, an extensive selection of liquor and beer and a pretty good wine list as well. For the solid food, it was the filet mignon sliders with bleu cheese and caramelized onions. Delicious, very flavorful, not too heavy, and delivered quickly. Then things started to get nuts with people from a big birthday part in a back room coming out for refills and people from the street coming in for a cold one to take out (yes, it's legal during First Fridays, with some conditions). But the bartender and servers worked together and took good care of their guests. The ambience is fairly upscale; clean and modern without being over-the-top contemporary. Low lighting but not so dim that you can't see your dinner/drink companions. Lots of variety and good prices. If I'm back in Wabash, I'll definitely go back to Moon Dog!

Incredible food and even better service. Every time we come here we feel like family. Moon dog is always one of our favorite places to eat!

This place was an absolute breath of fresh air in the cute little town of Wabash, IN. We were in town for a show at the Honeywell Center and staying the Charley Creek Inn. Moon Dog was located not even a block away from the hotel. This made for the perfect stop after the show. Everything we had was delicious. The Espresso Martinis were on point with a slight creaminess and the perfect amount of foam. The Myrtle stood out with a delicious sweetness of peach flavor. The tableside smoked old fashioned stood out for presentation and flavor. The Luna took things to a whole new level with the glitter and dry ice. We met Logan the Owner/Bartender was great! His use of Molecular Mixology really lived up the atmosphere. If you're in town and looking for a drink don't miss out on this place.

Black & Blue Salad: steak was cooked perfectly and so tender.

The best food in town by far!! This was our first time trying it and we ordered food to-go. It was ridiculously good!! By the time our food got home it was still hot, fresh and our salads were still perfectly crisp! Our 4 year old daughter ate her entire meal of baked spaghetti and even licked the plate after! It was so good and a serious win for the whole family being able to enjoy our meals !

Walking into this building off Canal St. in Wabash, IN you would NEVER expect what you find. Everything from the seating to the tables and art on the walls to the drinks and food screams heart and soul. Julie seems to have poured every ounce of her being into this place and you feel the warmth and joy the moment you step through the doors. M and I went here last night and I want to go back to again tonight! We were lucky enough to sit next to the kitchen and speak with Julie throughout our evening. We started with drinks, I got a Ginger Citrus Mocktail and M got a Vodka Soda, the mocktail was AMAZING!!! Then we ordered the Bruschetta and the tomatoes were amazingly prepared and the balsamic glaze was the perfect pairing. I opted for the Grilled Mediterranean Chicken Skewers for my main course and the little pearls of quinoa and couscous were like little pillows on your tongue! The flavors all married so well together and the chicken and Tatziki were amazing! M got two orders of Roast Beef Sliders, and I now know why now, they were amazing, freshly toasted from the oven, and the perfect combination of sweet and savory! We ended the night with BOTH desserts and there was NOTHING left on the plate after I was done, we got the Brownie and the Butter Cake -- delicious!!! I encourage everyone to try this spot out, and if you do, make sure you have NO plans after because you will not want to leave! We can't wait to go back again!

Our party of four ordered four different drinks - and then everyone so much loved their choice, we all reordered the exact same drink for round two. I'd give the bar list and bartender 5 stars. We sampled 3 different flatbreads. Two of them lacked flavor, one was not crispy, but very undercooked. I've seen this complaint more than a few times in reviews so it seems like something they'd address. Snack mix was good. Crostini delicious. Salad nice - although one small piece of avocado on what was billed as an avocado and blackberry salad was a disappointment. I'd rate the food 3 stars. Overall we enjoyed the vibe, the drinks and the mellow live music.

No, it's RoHo's, as in the first two letters of the owners' names: Rogers and Howell. Clever! When I visited RoHo's, the place was hopping. It was comedy night, and I could barely find a seat. I ended up sitting on a couch with three women I didn't know, but they were people who were beautiful and amazing, and did amazing things in the community. I lucked out! The service here is so efficient and friendly. Despite the crush of people, I managed to get my French 77 quickly. It was well balanced and very tasty, and made me feel so much better about being surrounded by strangers. Mostly, though, RoHo's specializes in martinis. The entrance to RoHo's is unassuming, so you might miss it if you're not looking sharp. So, look sharp!
