We ate here for our anniversary in February. Very cozy atmosphere. It was rather dark, if you don't care for that just be aware. The food was good! I wish the marinated olives didn't still have their pit as it was more work to eat them rather than enjoy. But, everything was delicious nonetheless.

Hummingbird is a cute "lounge" but don't let the name fool ya, they have a full food menu and great entrees. In addition to a bar area and dining room inside, they have a beautiful patio in the warmer months. Service was spectacular: friendly and welcoming. We tried the grilled cheese sticks appetizer and honestly it wasn't as good as it sounded on the menu, but everything else was super delicious. Highly recommend the grilled lemon chicken - the green beans were cooked perfectly and the mashed had some small little lumps in them, just like mom made! Can't wait to try other menu items.

Not only do they have Pimm's, they make a solid Pimm's Cup!

This spot was recommended to us by family and it's great! Owners and staff are super friendly. Patio is nice and lively. Cocktails are great!

What a cute bar/lounge! We came in for some late night drinks, and enjoyed the chill vibes, good drinks and friendly staff. All of the cocktails we tried were fantastic, and I loved their spin on an aperol spritz, the Rosita spritz which was much more floral than the traditional grapefruity aperol spritz.

The cocktails here are both refreshing and creative, absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great evening. The pork chop was a real standout, and the fish and chips came in generous portions and were full of flavor. Don't skip the fries and Brussels sprouts, they're downright magical. Come for the cocktails, stay for the food... then treat yourself to another cocktail!

We had such a great time dining here! The cocktails are creative and delicious, the food works perfectly for either small bites or a full meal, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. If you can, book the private cocktail making experience it's an absolute blast!

We had such a fun time dining here, the cocktails are all amazing and so unique, the food is great for small bites or a full meal, and the staff are some of the sweetest people. If you have the time, book a private cocktail making experience, it was so much fun!!!

I came on a Thursday evening and was surprised this place wasn't busier. I had the pineapple marg and fish + chips. Marg was good and stronger than I thought haha. Had a smoky taste to it but not overpowering. The fish and chips were SO good. Perfect amount of breading. Came out nice and hot. Some of the best fish and chips I've had. Prices are a little higher but comparable to other nice places in the area. I think you get a good amount of food, at least what I ordered. The GM was walking around and chatted with me for a bit and he was really nice. Would def go back!

Overall, good food and service. The bread salad missed the mark mostly croutons, tomatoes, and mozzarella; fresh bread would've been better. The lemon chicken was great, could've used a bit more lemon, but still delicious.

The short ribs and veg are really good. Mushroom risotto was ok. Friendly service, nice decor. An interesting addition to the area. I would go back to try some other things.

We started with the meatball appetizer, which was outstanding. The meatballs were incredibly light, tender, and flavorful, and the accompanying focaccia was just as impressive. It was fresh, crusty, and perfect for soaking up every bit of sauce. For my entrée, I ordered the rigatoni. The house-made pasta was cooked perfectly, and the slightly spicy tomato sauce had just the right amount of heat. The generous portion of sausage made the dish hearty without being overwhelming, and the portion size was spot on. My wife ordered the ravioli, which was served in a rich and creamy sauce that was absolutely delicious. Like my dish, the fresh, house-made pasta really stood out and elevated the entire meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent service, and outstanding food, Terrace Room delivered a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

I made a 6:30pm reservation and noted the occasion, and the staff sweetly sat us right by the window with a stunning view of Lake Michigan. I started the night with an Aperol Spritz. While their menu doesn't explicitly label items as gluten-free, I had called ahead and knew they could accommodate me. The appetizer options were a bit limited, so we shared the Brussels to start, followed by the corn and tomato risotto for my main, which was delicious. Our server was relatively new but incredibly attentive, even making sure to double-check with the kitchen that everything was safely GF. They offer multiple gluten-free options for mains and desserts, including GF pasta. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, and our server also brought out a complimentary chocolate mousse with orange slices and a birthday candle. Don't let the unlabeled menu scare you off--the staff is wonderful, the food is great, and you can't beat the lakeside view!

On a recent family trip, it was suggested that we stop in for a late lunch. Given that it was a holiday and a lack of other options in the area, I went along. When you first step inside, you'll notice that it wants so hard to be an Irish sports bar. Lots of sports memorabilia and statues accompany cheesy, over-done Irish slogans and designs. With its location, the sports angle is a logical slant. I get it. However, this is no Irish pub. One section of the restaurant is elegant, with linen napkins and beautiful dark wood trim. Its appearance is reminiscent of Victorian age dining and probably more typical of a finer resort-style atmosphere. Another section is a little less fancy, with white tablecloths and a more casual appearance. A third option, where we dined, is in the sports bar area, complete with patio and view of the golf course. The menu is fairly typical pub fare: burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers. I didn't see anything that stood out. With the exception of a shepherd's pie, it also lacked curry fries, which was disappointing, given the facade of an Irish pub. Right off the bat, I suspected we were in for a lacking experience when we were told that the staff was short-handed due to the holiday. I initially cut them a bit of slack because I understood. However, that's where my forgiveness ended. Our server, apparently covering the entire place, won no points when she took our drink orders and couldn't tell us what they had on tap for beers, nor did she have a list. The group ordered a few appetizers, including wings. For my meal, I opted for a turkey burger with avocado. The wings were barely flavored, except with too much salt and the only redeeming qualities were that they were crispy and served with both ranch and blue cheese dressing. The celery was even a tad soggy. My turkey burger was served to me with an added note that they were out of avocado. Had I been told that from the beginning, I would've ordered something else. The burger was peppery and also quite salty and the bun barely stood up to the challenge of keeping my tomato in place. The sodium levels gave me a hint that it was probably a frozen, low-quality patty. Ick. I drank far too much soda and water to try to keep my heart rate down for the rest of the day. The fries were also nothing special and also likely frozen items. The plus of the place is that the patio does have a pretty view of the golf course. If you like golf courses, that is. Other than that, it's a way to enjoy the outside and there are a lot of tables and room to walk around. If you're looking for a place to park yourself for some drinks and conversation this may just be the spot for you. I'd consider giving the other dining options a chance, though I wouldn't count on seeing me here anytime soon. Otherwise, if you do, I've been driving around the area looking for something resembling civilization and was hungry or drug along for family time when I'm not the decision-maker.
