Saporro ramen - A bowl of ramen with a variety of toppings including half a boiled egg, slices of pork, corn, and leafy greens. The ramen broth appears rich, and the bowl is placed on a wooden table. In the background, there are glasses and bowls, indicating a dining setting.

Good service and food. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table on a Saturday night, but that seemed reasonable. Drinks came out quickly and were tasty. One of the beers was flat, but they fixed that quickly. Our appetizers (salted edamame and chicken gyoza) we're good. We had 3 different ramen dishes (tokyo, cheese, and saporro) between the of us, and we were very pleased.

Hakata Ramen - A bowl of ramen with a creamy broth contains slices of pork, a halved soft-boiled egg, green vegetables, and mushrooms. The dish is presented in a blue patterned bowl on a dark table, with a white ceramic spoon resting inside. In the background, a person wearing a blue shirt is seen holding a smartphone, and another bowl of ramen is partially visible. The setting appears to be a casual restaurant.

So excited to try this place after hearing about their Springfield location! The Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen was velvety and flavorful. The pork was perfect. Service was excellent. Wish we live closer!

Went this week with my girl friends. I would recommend Miso for a moms night out or date night place. Our service was fantastic, really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It was during Happy Hour so one of my gals ordered several "starters" as her meal. I got myself the Hakata ramen. The toppings were beautiful and plenty. There was also the perfect serving of ramen noodles. My only criticism would be that it was very salty. My other gal friend got the Thai Coconut ramen. It looks delicious and I will likely give that a try on a future visit. For dessert, they had three offerings; a green matcha cheesecake, matcha crème brûlée and some green tea and ube shortbread cookies with a savory soy whipped dip. Of course we ordered all three and shared them! Everything was delicious!

Wonderful experience! The food, service, and ambiance were all great. Excellent selection of ramen (not your typical shoyu/miso!) and sake/cocktails/beer and ciders. We tried the beef gyoza, very tasty and big! I had the sapporo ramen, husband had the hakata. Both were good, I think I liked his a bit better. They also offer kids bowls of ramen which weren't listed on the menu. I also tried the Southside cocktail and the 21 Barrels Lychee cider. The cocktail was pretty solid, but the cider was fantastic! Not too sweet, not too dry, great lychee flavor. Husband also tried the juice box sake - very cute. Very happy to have a Speakeasy Ramen location closer by and can't wait to see how they evolve!

The food was ok it was a little pricey for what you actually getting. The crab ragoon fries were good but the fries were not crispy at all but tasted great!!!

Old fashion. Great

Ambience is great. Service was meh. I wanted so much to love this place. I'm a huge fan of Speakeasy in Springfield. Tuna appetizer was the highlight. Pork bao buns were not crisp or flavorful. We got two types of ramen. Decent but not amazing. What was supposed to be pork belly in the Tokyo ramen was basically boiled bacon and fat. The other ramen had Korean fried chicken and was great. I want so much for this place to succeed and get better. Speakeasy in Springfield is a place i brag about to people around the world. I'm hopeful this place will get their shit together and be on that level. I will obviously give them another chance. Do better.

The staff are all so welcoming and the atmosphere here is fun & authentic! Staring with the Bushido buns is a must!! The buns are fluffy & tasty, & the crispy pork with the Bushido sauce is delicious! The gyoza were awesome & both the teas were extra refreshing; I am a big fan of the lychee flavor! Both the ramens are packed with flavor and the portions are massive! No question, this is the best ramen spot in the Dayton area I've been to, I highly recommend it!

We were greeted a few minutes after we walked in and were shown to a table. The inside is so much fun and there are figures all around the store that you can even purchase if you would like. It is a lively ambiance and almost every table and spot was filled while we were there. Service was a bit slow, although it seems like there is only one waitress for the whole restaurant, so just be prepared. It also took a fair amount of time for our food and drinks to come out. The ramen actually beat my drink out, and even the ramen took a decent amount of time. Again not the end of the world as we enjoyed chatting and enjoying the restaurant, just a bit surprised as most ramen restaurants that I have been to usually have the food out pretty quickly. Everything was tasty! It wasn't the most flavorful tonkotsu ramen I have ever had, but I definitely enjoyed it. The matcha was also good. Definitely on the sweet and more milky side, but I would still get it again. Cute little shop that provided a nice, cozy meal on a chilly day!

The post was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'm looking forward to an awesome dinner. We took it to go so I can't comment about the ambience but I like this place. The restaurant when it first opened had a limited menu--so my goal today was to share the current menu too. Even though it's a hibachi restaurant--they do not offer hibachi tables so you don't get the show with dinner. I feel like for this reason the price is less than other hibachi restaurants. Also they have a much larger selection--LOBSTER!! Chicken katsu! I haven't gotten the hibachi here in some time but I do know it's very good. I just absolutely love the sushi here. The Lady Gaga roll and the Karen roll are some of our favorites. I usually add masago (fish eggs) to my rolls. Tonight I really wanted to try the ramen--so I got the Spicy Miso Pork Ramen (No corn). I got the small and honestly that was enough to fill me up! But I couldn't pass up my sushi lol. My only regret tonight is that we sat at a two seater high top table--and that table was definitely not big enough for all of our food!

Better than ramen I've had in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. The chili oil or sashuan oil is not as hot as I thought. Easy to eat, even if you can't tolerate much spice. YE Gurl Says: Hidden Vibes, Solid Bites at Speakeasy Ramen…read more Place: Speakeasy Ramen Address: 365 Ludlow Avenue, Springfield, OH Date: March 26 Accompanying the beau on a work day trip, he said he looked up a ramen spot to go to. So we pulled up to Speakeasy Ramen not knowing exactly what to expect, but let me tell you--it's giving lowkey, tucked-away gem with personality. A large house turned restaurant with a large patio and on a rather unassuming neighborhood block... I was taken aback. What we ordered: * Moto Taco * Takoyaki * Panko Shrimp * Thai Curry Ramen * Spicy Cheese Ramen (sub shrimp) * Lychee Ramune * Yuengling Total: ~$64 for two -- and honestly? Not bad at all for the spread. Let's get into it. The apps came out swinging. The takoyaki had that classic savory, slightly crispy outside with soft center situation going on in the traditional balls not the pancake style and the panko shrimp delivered the crunch you expect. Moto taco? Fun, different--definitely a good start to the meal. Now the ramen... The Thai Curry Ramen brought flavor--rich, warm, and a nice switch-up from your standard broth. But the standout? Spicy Cheese Ramen with shrimp I know... it sounds like it could go left. But it actually works. Creamy mac and chesse sauce vibes, spicy, indulgent--this is one of those bowls that's not traditional, but you're not mad about it either. Drinks were simple--Ramune for a little nostalgic pop, and a casual beer to round it out. YE Gurl Insight: This isn't your polished, big-city ramen bar--and that's exactly the point. It's got character, a little creativity, and enough flavor to make you remember it. Could it compete with spots in Chicago or New York City? Yes and it has even won awards and been in some food mags. This is how the beau found it. Crazy right! It's a strong showing. Final Take: If you're in the area and want something casual but not boring, this is worth the stop. Good variety, solid portions, and a menu that's willing to play a little. YE Gurl Says: Pull up, order a few things, and don't overthink it--this is a "try a little bit of everything and enjoy the ride" kind of spot.
