This was a very last minute decision to meet friends over in Troy, so I broke my STRICT rule and didn't check the EXTENSIVE menu ahead of time. They offer a few of the "best of" from Speakeasy Ramen, but TONS of different, DELICIOUS choices!! We shared a crab rangoon app and sushi arancini balls that were just AMAZING. One friend got the ramen flight (great idea for sampling, btw!!) and the other friend orders a philly cheese steak roll, and I got the hakodate ramen, which was WONDERFUL!! The banchan is always good too! I have tried to make the cheonsachae (kelp salad) at home, but it just doesn't taste the same. I could eat my weight in that stuff! The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, it's a bit old and run down, but always seems clean. I have never used their bathroom, which is located around the back of the building. My husband uses it every time we go and he's never complained about it. The servers are hit or miss. The last time we went we had a great server, but sometimes they can be less bubbly than most Americans prefer.
