I've been a consistent customer at McIntosh's Pub & Grub in Bellbrook, Ohio. I've never had a bad experience nor have heard any negative feedback. At any rate, McIntosh's has a designated smoking area right by the entrance of said local Pub and Grub. After I finished a cocktail, I went to their designated smoking area. I smoked my last cigarette so I walked from McIntosh's to Dot's Market (adjacent to The Blue Berry Cafe) to purchase a pack of Winston. Without hesitation, I walked from Dots Market back to McIntosh's then my bartender Jamie handed me my tab/receipt. I paid cash for this bill but please take ONE minute to meticulously review the bartender's handwriting on the attached receipt. I'll patiently wait before writing a formal complaint coupled with an accurate account of what actually happened plus offer a fair review of McIntosh's as a whole. To start, the atmosphere of this restaurant was both relaxed and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and started us off with drinks. We ordered the mixed basket of mozzarella sticks/cheese balls to start and they were delicious. The marinara sauce was tangy and not something that my family liked, but the ranch was delicious. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and added fries, and though there was quite a bit of seasoning on the burger, he said that it was pretty good. My son loved the buffalo chicken sandwich, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the buffalo chicken bites. I ordered the macho nacho for my meal and it was good and there was more than enough for one person. Overall we were very satisfied with our meals and will be back to try additional options. read more

It almost seemed as if I'd stepped back in television time to watching an episode of "Cheers". It was obvious this is a beloved local watering hole and grub spot with the constant coming and going of young, old and everyone in between, and the constant chatter among customers who are friends. Bartenders and servers enthusiastically greeted guest by their first names. McIntosh Pub and Grub is located in an old, historic building with many family, friends and customers in photos dotting the walls. Nostalgic, vintage beer steins, signs and memorabilia creatively decorate the walls and bar shelves. Who doesn't like pub food and McIntosh's does that well. Our large group enjoyed sharing their potato chip basket with classic French onion dip, fried green beans with a yummy horseradish sauce and fried cheddars cheese balls. We all ordered an array of cauliflower crust pizza and shared. Yes, the cauliflower crust pizza was a favorite of our group, and I must say I can see why! It was a wonderful crispy base and tasted like a thin crust pizza. I certainly didn't miss the gluten. Of all the pizzas ordered my favorite was the cheese followed closely by the supreme. Service was very attentive to our large group and the cocktails and cold beers kept coming! I hope to return one day! read more

What's not to love about this place? It is one of the best neighborhood bars around. It's in an awesome old building right at the center of town in Bellbrook. It used to be called Dinwiddies, many people still call it that. Myself included. :) They have a good selection of beers on tap and packaged. They have a full bar. The menu has lots of options but I only ever get Ron's pizza when Im here. It's amazing! The bartenders and servers are always very friendly and helpful. I have been coming here since day one. Have always loved this place, great atmosphere, great service and pretty decent food. Was in recently and the mom and daughter working could not have been more rude and nasty. Shocking actually. Food was borderline just ok. Pretzel bites were super greasy. Pizza is thin crust burnt on the outside of the pizza and hard and chewy in the middle. One review said the pizza was a homerun. More like a double play.. It was busy and SUPER loud. One customer was just yelling the whole time at her table that i think they could hear her in Columbus. My head still hurts from her trying to be the life of the party at her table. Also got the chili and that was highlighted on the menu as something special but it wasn't special at all. Dont ask for a list of beers or drinks cause they don't have one. You basically guess. Only reason I gave 2 is because the draft beer was super cold and good. The service here was really good actually... But unfortunately the chicken sandwich I ordered and the chicken quesadilla my wife ordered we're both horrendous. We both took one bite, looked at each other and just knew what the other was thinking.... The chicken from the sandwich I ordered tasted like it was freezer burnt and possibly expired. My wife's quesadilla was soggy and about made her gag! This is literally the first time we have ever taken one bite, asked for a box (to be respectful), and left as soon as humanly possible! I assume the bar must be on point because it was packed... But the restaurant side needs a ton of help! read more

This is the quintessential neighborhood bar. This place is simple and inviting and we immediately felt like regulars. We started with the chips and dip. Although the chips were not made in house, I'm pretty sure they were Mikesells groovy and anyone from Dayton will tell you those are pretty hard to beat. The dip, on the other hand was definitely made in house and was outstanding. The wings. At the suggestion of our server, we had the blackened wings. I asked her to bring a sauce to dip them into and she chose the garlic. The wings were outstanding on their own and this sauce made them even better. The staff. We drive by this restaurant regularly so figured it was past time to stop in and check it out. We had heard a mixture of good and not so good but were attracted to the idea of a neighborhood bar. The food was pretty good and the beer selection was ok. Only problem was that the servers on duty that night were more interested in serving their friends or regulars than the new folks. I ordered a three topping pizza today. 8-11-2018 Pepperoni,black olive , mushrooms. Over the years this has been Ron's High quality thin crust. But today, very low in flavor. Bland tomato sauce, pepperoni needed salt would you believe. Also the 3 ingredients applied poorly , mostly in center of pie. Very few evenly distributed hopefully with care. Classic small town bar! I love this place and have been coming here for almost two decades (it used to be called Dinwiddies). The food is always on point and the servers are super nice. Visited here on business travel and didn't want to go one of the bigger places in Beavercreek. The wings were great and inexpensive, the beer was cold and the staff was friendly. Placed was packed on a Wednesday night, and it was mostly locals (a good thing). I will be back again! read more

I've been a long time fan of Ron's Pizza (in McIntosh's) it WAS best! not sure why they stopped serving the best pizza in Dayton. Additionally, the wine is awful and many complain to management, but nothing gets done (its 2020). But aside from that, I'll be back. Its close and good people work there. read more

Dine in is a totally different experience at Macintosh the food was quality and I ordered the exact same thing I ordered last time and this time it was perfect the service was a little slow but still fairly good and the staff was friendly. It's a bar. I'm generally not a fan of bars. The wings were really good though (we'd heard they were and decided to check them out) and the server was friendly. We tried the bacon cheese fries. They had the standard "cheese" goo and bacon bits on them but the fries were well cooked; not soggy or over-fried. We didn't try the pizza but we saw it brought out to the next table over.
