This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Seriously: you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always great and I love the casual feel at the restaurant. We really enjoyed our food and had a good time. read more

The main reason we dine here is because we like the fresh taste and there is usually a good seasonal dish to try. I usually order the egg white omelette with toast and fruits. The restaurant is always clean the decor is alright. I feel the prices are reasonable. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I don't remember her name. The coffee is better than the average breakfast spot. read more

I had tried the chi pudding with multi grain toast and almond butter at the taste of kettering yrs ago. Loved it so that's what I usually get here. They are busy so check in online to lessen your wait. Service was great. read more

Second time at this particular First Watch- first time review at this location and the customer service never disappoints. I love the accessibility of pay as well where you can pay by phone allowing more time at the table and you don't feel rushed to get up and take care of the bill! Their vegetarian and non-dairy options were the highlight for me this time around. read more

Somewhat pricey but a very good food selection. Great service and a beautiful setting.

Typical First Watch with a nice summer menu. We ordered the Lone Star Brisket Hash and the Trifecta. Although the hash was excellent there was maybe, and I'm being generous here, a table spoon on brisket under the eggs and potatoes. So not much value there. The Trifecta was good. Attentive service and decent value given the amount of brisket in the hash. read more

Really good food. Great service. Clean bathrooms and clean restaurant. They gave us a coupon for us to come back since it was our first time there. I have doctors appointments in that area so we went back. Great food and service again. Will definitely return. I recommend this place. Only open until 2 ish read more

I've been to several first watches and this one wasn't as well organized but overall not a bad deal. I had a roast beef sandwich which was nice with a good flavor. I feel like there isn't much variety in the soups when I go in. It's basically always tomato. Service was a bit sparse, but that's not typical for other FW I have been to. read more

Impromptu breakfast at a place I haven't been in a long time. Love the farm to table decor. Service a little slow but she was apologetic and so nice. The market veg was so full of flavor!! I will definitely order again. Mushrooms peppers zucchini shallots are an explosion of flavor. Hubs had the cinnamon crunch pancake. He loved it. Eggs cooked good. Said the turkey sausage was "ok". I like that we got a pitcher of water so we wouldn't have to wait. Bill was $26 buck for all this delicious food!! We will definitely return. Great options for all eating styles! Yum!! read more

Good food, good service. Standard first watch fare done correctly. We appreciated not being shoved out the door when the restaurant was busy. read more

Very disappointed in the downgrade of the multigrain bread! If they are willing to compromise to cheapen the bread (which by consensus at our table was the biggest draw), what else have they compromised that we can't see. Lost faith in this place as a decent quality breakfast/brunch restaurant. If it wasn't for the service, I'd probably never come back! read more

My neighbor, Cliff, and I stopped in for brunch. We were seated immediately & checked out the new Spring Menu while our friendly server got coffee for Cliff & a delicious Morning Meditation for me. Cliff decided on The Traditional Breakfast while I chose the Tacos Al Pastor Hash from the new Spring Menu. I ordered my eggs over medium & they were cooked perfectly. My meal had chunks of fresh pineapple throughout. The fresh pineapple was delicious but completely overwhelmed the dish. I could taste nothing else. The ambiance was what you would expect from First Watch. Our server took good care of us & received a generous tip. read more

Had the worst experience at this location. Waited on your wait list for over 20 minutes and when asking for an update the lady said our seats will be delayed for another 15 minutes. When we asked why the delay we were informed that if we did the app it would Move us up in the wait line. People beware of this practice because it was not told to us and we ended up going to your competition Waffle House and received outstanding service at a great price. read more

I love First Watch. A few things I appreciate about a restaurant with not much seating is you can join the waiting list online which is a huge help. The menu has something for everything, the staff is all very nice, the place was packed however we got our food within 10 minutes of being seated. The parking is a little crazy but that is the only bad thing I can say about this place. read more

Our food was amazing and our server was awesome and we sat outside to enjoy the beautiful morning...

We've eaten at First Watch restaurants in other cities but it's our first visit here. It's just as good as the others we've been to! I had the avocado toast and it's awesome! Toast with a avocado mix piled on top. Came with 2 eggs over easy - just right! Coffee was just ok but the cups are big! My SO had the lunch special, roast beef, havarti cheese with tomato soup. Delicious! Service was fast and friendly. I'm a fan of First Watch! read more

Let's just say, I wish we had a First Watch in RI. Was on a girls trip and we went here twice during our 4 day stay. Everything was delicious and came out quick! Great service and a very good omelet for breakfast this morning. Hugely loaded with all the fixings and then topped with sour cream. For sure, it got me going for the rest of the day. As seen with sliced tomatoes and the salad as I'm still losing weight on keto and not eating potatoes and toast. Service was good and the coffee was very good. Well worth it today for the breakfast to start the day and a new customer in Miamisburg. [Review 11305 overall, 1082 of 2019.] read more

First of all, I have been doing business with first watch for many years and I have patronize them from Florida all the way up to Ohio. I went to the facility in Miamisburg at the Dayton mall and this is the first time I've had to give a less than three stars, first of all the parking was horrible. I walk with a walker and it was raining and I had to park over a block away granted this facility is located in the Dayton mall, but other facilities are located in malls and you can park within a couple parking space normally for handicap. The other problem I had with this location I had the classic breakfast two eggs, which were very small potatoes, very small portion, and for turkey links, three of which were excellent the fourth one was burnt to the point that I could hardly eat it. The restaurant was not busy so the service was very quick as usual with first watch, and the facilities were clean and neat, and the personnel were polite. The only reason I will not be returning to this restaurant is the parking facilities, the food I can live with Even though it was not on par with the other facilities in this area. The restaurant was very clean and neat. I am sorry I didn't get a picture but you would think that someone in the kitchen will have seen that and refused to serve it. Again, I enjoy first watch. This was an exception to the ones that I go to. I appreciate the service and the good food that y'all serve. read more

From hard boiled to soup. I ordered a Benedict and the first try came out with the yolk cooked through. They said they would bring new eggs but these were pretty much raw egg soup. It really isn't that hard to comprehend that poached eggs have a liquid yolk and formed whites. The server offered to take it off the check but I was left to sit around while my companion finished his meal. read more

Updated because second time I have done take away and they don't get the order right. How hard is it to include items you stated come with the meal? No fruit, no preserves, no syrup and asked for no green garnish on eggs and yet dumped on. Never again. Save yourself the hassle and either order in or try another breakfast place nearby as there are plenty. read more

First Watch is delicious! The Miamisburg location is a little smaller than other locations I've been too but it still had a great decor. I give this location 4 stars because I felt the service was a little slow and there was a little trash still left in our booth when we were seated. I got the Farmhouse Skillet with toast and a Banana Granola Pancake on the side. The pancake is huge so I recommend splitting it if you're also getting other food like I did. I thought the skillet was delicious with crispy potatoes, roasted veggies, fresh avocado, and eggs cooked to my liking. I also like that they give you extra water and coffee so you don't have to wait for someone to come refill your cup. I highly recommend this place! read more

We go to First Watch frequently in other states. This Dayton branch is just as good, fresh, and adequate as other ones we been to. Neat place for a meal with friends and family. I ordered an egg sandwich that contained avocados, but wasnt a big fan. The food still looked good and appetizing as it came in. And I ordered a hot chocolate. You could never go wrong with their hot chocolate. This branch is located in a plaza where you will find many parking spots. You will also be able to do other things as you walk out the plaza. read more

Went in for breakfast on Saturday morning. The place was not busy but soon it became busy. The staff were friendly and polite and were wearing masks. Coming to the breakfast, we got 1. Florida French Toast (4.5/5) - Hint of cinnamon and good portion of fruit. 2. Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict (4.5/5). The side of fresh fruit was good. The coffee and hot chocolate was also good. Overall a good place with huge menu. I would go again. read more

Arrived with no waiting customers outside. Seven open booths and table and four staff members at the front and was still told an hour wait. The four staff members at the front seemed more interested in gossiping or texting on their phones than serving customers. First Watch is a terrific place for breakfast. This was the third location in this chain I have patronized and I have enjoyed each visit. This particular establishment is well located in a satellite plaza in front of the Dayton Mall at the intersection of OH 725 and OH 741 just off I-75. The curb appeal of this restaurant is good while the substantial seating area provides a setting for an enjoyable dining experience amidst a pleasant decor. We were seated after a ten-minute wait on our Saturday AM visit. This is not unusual as it is quite a popular weekend place. The menu has something for everybody with creative twists on old favorites. My pescatarian daughter tried the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon while my wife had the Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. They both enjoyed their choices. I had the Chickichanga, which was an omelet with chorizo, peppers, etc. covered by a slightly spicy gravy. It was accompanied by home fries and a cup of fruit. I enjoyed my selection very much. The coffee was decent. The service was good in my estimation. Our waitress was pleasant enough. She was also fairly efficient and attentive. Our final bill was a bit on the expensive side as it was over $50 with tax and tip. At about $17 apiece, while not cheap, it was worth it for the quality. We were quite happy with our experience. I would enthusiastically recommend this spot for breakfast if you are in the area. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Dayton. I have not had a single dish here that I haven't liked. My personal favs are the lemon ricotta pancakes, or the Floridian French toast (which is loaded, and I mean loaded, with fruit). Take the few moments to download their app to "get in line," you won't regret it. You can do your waiting at home or shopping at the mall. Pros: - fresh food, well seasoned - seasonal dishes and drinks - good portion sizes, but expect to pay a little more than Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel - excellent table service - clean! Including the bathrooms!!! - nice decor - the ability to "get in line" on their app Cons: - can get a little loud at times, particularly if you are seated next to the kitchen read more
