First of all, I have been doing business with first watch for many years and I have patronize them from Florida all the way up to Ohio. I went to the facility in Miamisburg at the Dayton mall and this is the first time I've had to give a less than three stars, first of all the parking was horrible. I walk with a walker and it was raining and I had to park over a block away granted this facility is located in the Dayton mall, but other facilities are located in malls and you can park within a couple parking space normally for handicap. The other problem I had with this location I had the classic breakfast two eggs, which were very small potatoes, very small portion, and for turkey links, three of which were excellent the fourth one was burnt to the point that I could hardly eat it. The restaurant was not busy so the service was very quick as usual with first watch, and the facilities were clean and neat, and the personnel were polite. The only reason I will not be returning to this restaurant is the parking facilities, the food I can live with Even though it was not on par with the other facilities in this area. The restaurant was very clean and neat. I am sorry I didn't get a picture but you would think that someone in the kitchen will have seen that and refused to serve it. Again, I enjoy first watch. I give this location 4 stars because I felt the service was a little slow and there was a little trash still left in our booth when we were seated. I got the Farmhouse Skillet with toast and a Banana Granola Pancake on the side. The pancake is huge so I recommend splitting it if you're also getting other food like I did. I thought the skillet was delicious with crispy potatoes, roasted veggies, fresh avocado, and eggs cooked to my liking. The curb appeal of this restaurant is good while the substantial seating area provides a setting for an enjoyable dining experience amidst a pleasant decor. We were seated after a ten-minute wait on our Saturday AM visit. This is not unusual as it is quite a popular weekend place. The menu has something for everybody with creative twists on old favorites. My pescatarian daughter tried the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon while my wife had the Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. They both enjoyed their choices. I had the Chickichanga, which was an omelet with chorizo, peppers, etc. covered by a slightly spicy gravy. It was accompanied by home fries and a cup of fruit. I enjoyed my selection very much. The coffee was decent. The service was good in my estimation. Our waitress was pleasant enough. She was also fairly efficient and attentive. Our final bill was a bit on the expensive side as it was over $50 with tax and tip. At about $17 apiece, while not cheap, it was worth it for the quality. We were quite happy with our experience.
