    3 Eggs corned beef hash
    Bobby P.

I showed up at 6am just as they opened. Offered coffee right away , thank god, ordered the 3 eggs corned beef hash and toast. The service was excellent. Ambiance is a small town diner welcoming those looking for something comfortable.

KK was my almost daily breakfast stop ~40 years ago. Then; I moved from the area. I was delighted to discover that KK s still operating ... and owned by the same family! Small. Clean. Hot food, hot. Cold food, cold. Good teamwork by the staff. This is classic blue collar diner food and a 5-star example of such.

Had the corn beef hash and the biscuits and gravy. The price was not bad. The service was extremely friendly.

We waited about 5 minutes for a table, they were cleaning & turning tables fast. We reviewed the menu as they have a much larger selection than Frisch's ever did, since this was our first visit we went with the classics fish sandwich & the signature. They have Pepsi instead of Coke & they were out, also out of lemonade & sweet tea too. Once our food arrived, the fish sandwich was hot & quite larger than previous Frisch's. The signature the bun it was served on was stale & fell apart, the burger patties are larger, but the lettuce was on the bottom & lots of pickles, I couldn't taste the tarter sauce at all, but the waitress was too busy to ask for more. Their fries were okay, I miss the crinkle cut. We finished off by sharing a hot fudge cake, which was huge, the cake is thickly sliced & with a hand scooped vanilla ice cream, as soon as you went in with a spoon to get a bite it completely fell apart. Good try Dolly's I would rerun again to try something else or breakfast as there were a variety of omelettes, scrambles, potato pancakes which sounded good.

I passed by and saw open and went in alone for recon. I asked the waiter about my beloved chili spaghetti dinner and she said,"not even similar!" My vegetable soup I love, I asked. "No and it has meat". Ok, may I have a cherry coke? "No, it's Pepsi". If you're going out for an ok burger with fries, Dolly's is your place. I was told Dolly's was Big Boys cousin. Perhaps the stripped down depressed cousin. They had Frisch's ketchup bottles with the labels peeled of leaving them sticky and nasty. Bring back Frisch's

Very, very clean. There was ideal background music, 60s-80s familiar tunes. Just loud enough to hear and enjoy. Bonus points, I did not notice any TV screens. We had two classic brunch dishes. The French Toast was amazing, thick, eggy, just enough cinnamon. The fresh fruit on top was a welcome surprise. My husband loved the Benedict, halfway through he mixed his hash browns in with the runny yolks and took it to a whole new level. There are some nice options offered on the breakfast/brunch menu. Coffee was decent and refills offered. We both cleaned our plates. I think our waitress was Kelly, not positive of the name. Dark hair. She was great, very real, like a small town diner waitress oughta be. Knew the menu and what to recommend. Just the right amount of conversation. We had gone to early Sunday Mass in Lebanon, driving back towards Eaton, and I had no less than four brunch possibilities lined up, all of which failed for one reason or another. It was karma because we were meant to end up at Alleyway Cafe. So glad we did and I highly recommend this spot for brunch!

Absolutely turned my stomach when it came. I also ordered a loaded baked potato and what came out was something I'd be embarrassed to serve. My friend ordered the scramble bowl.
