Huge brunch! Enough to take home leftovers and eat for dinner
    Kim S.

We have been wanting to visit the Kettering location of Blueberry Cafe since it opened a year and a half ago! We really like the Bellbrook cafe so were certain we would like their second location as well. We arrived at noon on a Wednesday, surprised to see a full lobby of people waiting for tables. The hostess told us it would be a 30 minute wait but actually it turned out to be less than half that! We were seated and waited a few minutes for someone to come by. Our server must have had his hands full so someone else stopped by and asked for our drink order and told us our server would be by shortly. I appreciated they way the staff helped each other out like that. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us. We placed our orders and a few minutes later, he came back to let me know they were out of the special that I ordered. I was a little disappointed but what I ordered turned out to be delicious! I ordered the New York Style French Toast Platter. Oh my, it was huge! Two large slices of french toast, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns! I ended up taking home leftovers and eating them for dinner. Even though they were busy, the tables were spread out enough that it wasn't loud like some breakfast restaurants tend to be. The decor was nice and I really appreciated the live plants in the windows. One extra shoutout to the owner of Blueberry Cafe. She is often on social media uplifting other independent restaurants and local small businesses. That's a class act that doesn't go unnoticed. Keep up the great work!

The food was delicious. The portions were extremely big! We couldn't finish the food. It was our first time here and it was yummy! It did take a bit to get the food (lots of leftovers) but it was very busy! It was great ambiance. Tip for someone who wants to come here you can call ahead and be put on the waitlist and checkin when you get there. Wish I would've known but it's ok it our first time.

Loaded potato omelette, hash browns, marble rye toast.

Location: 2932 S. Dixie Dr, Kettering Ohio Website: Menu: Hours: Parking: plentiful front and back lot parking This cafe blew me away. Fully living up to hype and word-of-mouth, this offers breakfast and lunch features from opening to close (2pm ish) We were off work this week so tried our luck at stopping by at 9 (ish) on. Tuesday morning. We lucked out with both parking (kinda rare) and being seated immediately (really rare). The selection is plentiful. Two full menu sides filled with options... it was a first visit for us both so we went with our personal 'new spot' litmus tests: (1) omelette with hash browns, rye toast and (2) something., anything with sausage gravy We chose very wisely. Loaded potato omelette with shredded hash browns and marble rye toast was delicious. One of four omelettes, not including a 'make your own' option - cones with hash browns and your choice of toast. This omelette came with potato, green onion, bacon, and cheddar cheese with a green onion -ranch sour cream. Marvelous. The hash browns ate lightly seasoned and the perfect combination of crispy and creamy. Wonderful. The marble rye is a thick sliced variety, lightly toasted with a smear of creamy butter. Perfect. The Cowboy Bennie platter is a perfect Americanized version of Eggs Benedict. A fluffy biscuit, lightly toasted and topped with a sausage patty, fried egg, and sausage gravy. It was served on a bed of hashbrowns. The biscuit was fluffy and perfect. The sausage patty and sausage gravy were seasoned perfectly and between the two of us - left none of this behind The service is excellent. The portions are very large. The coffee is great and from local roaster, Boston Stoker. The prices are very fair, especially considering the quality of food and portion size.

My amazing breakfast self explanatory and my wife's French toast platter behind

First time in this location. We went on a Wednesday around lunch time and had about a 20 minute wait. Once seated the service was very prompt and courteous. I opted for a combo platter. Eggs perfect over easy the hash browns crispy were very tasty and the bacon and toast were well prepared as well. Everything on a giant plate. This may sound whinny but the flatware was so cheap it made eating tough. Overall great experience with wonderful server and I will be back soon. I'm so glad that they are doing this well and was happy to wait for a table. Great bunch of people !

Sometimes I'm very disappointed about the price and food quality. This restaurant has been around for several years and I see why. We called in an order because the restaurant usually has an hour plus wait for a table. My boyfriend had the pancakes platter and I had the French toast platter. The only negative is that we had to pay an extra $3 for chicken sausage. I think it's unfair I have to pay more because I don't eat pork. Other than that the food was amazing. We ordered our eggs over easy and they were still over easy when I arrived home. Awesome breakfast spot. If you are driving through the area, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Got the B platter when I went and it was delicious and worth the money for sure! When we got there we had about a 30 minute wait for a weekday and party of four. The staff were very kind and were quick to take our order and serve our food once seated. The portions are huge (reference picture below) and this was all given for $15! The restaurant had a nice casual diner feel but had a more homey feel to it since it is not a chain restaurant.

Platter A - Eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, English muffin
    Ted S.

My wife and I checked out the Blueberry Cafe and tried a couple different dishes. I went with the Platter A--eggs, bacon, sausage links, an English muffin, and hash browns--and everything was spot-on. The eggs were over medium just as Ilike them, the bacon was crispy, and the hash browns had that perfect crunchy-outside, soft-inside vibe. Exactly what I needed to kick off the day My wife tried their quiche packed with bacon, onion, Swiss, and cheddar, and it was amazing. The crust was super flaky, and the fresh fruit on the side really balanced the richness. The whole place had a warm, welcoming feel, and the staff made sure our coffee never ran dry If you're looking for a satisfying breakfast with both classic options and fun twists, this spot's definitely worth a visit. We left pleased and can't wait to go back!

We visited on Jan. 1, 2026. The restaurant was cute and very busy. We called ahead, then drove there, waited another 30 minutes or so. The waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was phenomenal. The portions were huge! They kind of nickel and dime you on ANY substitutions. But the price equals out when you see the portion sizes. We will definitely be back!

I was already a fan of this establishment when it was under the old mgt. But I did revisit this establishment a second time and the service was much better. When I come in town I always stop here to get a good breakfast. Nothing has changed. The food was good the service was very friendly. The management stopped by to say good morning and thank you . The environment has always been friendly and welcoming. If you want a good hearty breakfast this is the spot

Traveling through the area, was looking for a breakfast/brunch spot on our way out of town and first and when 6 people walked in, the entire vibe shifted in the place. We were told that they only do online orders and pick up basically, but we were in a tour a van and did not want to eat eggs on a 90 degree day in a hot van, we asked if we could sit, and they said "no problem." But then it became a problem. The two working here decided to start playing very loud grime/trap music while sat there as they made our food. They increased the volume of every track and even as the orders came out, kept turning up the music. After they said we could eat in the shop, they continually raised the volume on the music to an unbearable point, even clocked the one of the chefs going to the ipad to raise the mix even further, and we all ended up taking to go. I get it. You don't want people in the shop. You don't have bathrooms, theres not a ton of seating, and this is a cool stoner delivery spot. But everyone, including myself, tipped the workers on the orders and just tried to have a quick bite so we thought it wouldn't be a problem to eat and be on our way. It was so obvious that these workers do not want people in their store or for diners to enjoy themselves there. Again, the food was really good, but I didn't want to eat it in a tour van. I know that may be selfish of me, the customer, to want a place to eat something with gravy and eggs, and not in a steamy enclosed vehicle, but wow, it was so obvious that we were not allowed to be in there from the vibe. Not to mention, one of the folks in my party clocked that 2 cops were outside rummaging through the trash - so not a great look on this restaurant or neighborhood. The food was so good it still gets 3 stars from me, but I will be ordering on line for pick up next time.

Sat in the back room to get away from the cold, and noticed a lot of issues with cleanliness. Walls were dirty with old food spatters, and there are several places where delayed maintenance/repairs has caused the place to look uncared for. Bathroom needs a very thorough cleaning/upgrade. Other than the fruit plate, which was very fresh, my breakfast meal was not good and as a result I ate a few bites and left the rest. My dining partner said her food was very good, except for the biscuits and gravy which had no flavor other than tasting like undercooked sausage. The baked goods were all excellent, as always. Coffee was weak but tasted fresh. Hoping management addresses some of these issues soon. Cherry House has long been a family favorite when we're in the area, and it is so disappointing for it to not live up to the great experiences we've had there in the past.
