This spot is OK. Kind of overpriced for what you get. They don't even use fresh avocado for the avocado toast but it's expensive. Waffles are really good. Not sure about service because I typically get it delivered. Coffee is meh, could be better. read more

8/6/23 My husband and I came here for breakfast before we went to church. Parking had adequate space as we found a spot quickly. Walking in, the hostess area was empty, and their signage was kinda sloppy which made it hard to read but we were seated quickly. Their bathrooms were out of service and that is a terrible situation especially for a restaurant that serves coffee. I ordered the crab Benny and my husband had the eye opener omelette, both meals were delicious and we ate them with their house coffee. I like the ambience of this place and the brightness of the yellow color everywhere. I believe some of their staff should be educated a bit more on the menu items. As I asked one of the girls that were working there, a question before our server came to our table and got a snobby response of "I'm not your server." I think that was rude, but excused it to their ignorant young age. Overall, the food was great and the service was average. I'd hope things will be better if I were to return here. read more

This is a cute little breakfast place. The restaurant itself is clean and pretty big. Staff was great and really accommodating for our larger group on New Year's Day. They were even great with figuring out what I could eat with my food allergies (dairy and gluten). Unfortunately they do not have a dedicated toaster so while they have gluten-free toast someone with celiac disease will not be able to eat it because of cross-contamination. They use a non-dairy spray/oil on their grill so I was safely able to have eggs. The fruit is really great, which can be hit or miss at most places. Other than eggs there wasn't much I saw on the menu that was good for people with my allergies. It is pricey than other breakfast places in the area and for what I got, I'm not sure it's worth it. Sometimes can be a little hectic, but I have never waited for a long time for a table. They have a big wide array of items on the menu and I'm pretty sure you can find something you like to try. The fruit is always fresh. Their salads are always well made and the portions are pretty big. It's a basic breakfast place, not all the bells and whistles of the trendier places, but always a solid place I know will be clean, not wait forever even on Sunday morning. We stopped by on Father's day around 10:30am. Approximately 10 minutes wait. Plenty of room to stand or sit while waiting and they have a small coffee station with different flavors of creamer and sugars. The hostess station was a nice set up and they young lady working was really nice. The inside is roomy, parking is a bit crowded, nicely decorated, super clean, plenty of room at the tables. They offer booths and tables which is always a nice option. When we sat down the gentleman that seated us took our drink order right away (bonus the offered highlander grogg coffe) if you have never had this it is the best with a Carmel aroma and a slight taste. Soooo good. They bring your coffee in an insulated coffee pot also great where you can refill as needed. Once we had our drinks the waitress took our order and I swear from the time we ordered until the time we got our food was less than 10 minutes. I got the classic egg Benny. The only complaint about this is I wish they had the white English muffin vs multiple grain. But I still give it a 9/10 (only because no white muffin option lol) the egg was cooked perfect, the protein was really good, and the hollandaise sauce was so good and creamy not over lemon taste either and this is the first time I have ordered and not had to ask for a side of sauce ( like I have to from other places) everything worked so well in the dish making the breakfast really good The staff was amazing. But if anyone does read this review from corporate please consider bringing back the white English muffin. Over all great experience and we will be back read more

My sons food came out first. I waited another 8 -10 minutes for my food to come out. By then my son was finished eating, I didn't really care for my meal anymore since I was waiting there for a while. When food finally came out I asked waitresses nicely that I wasn't going to need that anymore since my son had finished eating. She excused herself she didn't need to, something obviously went wrong in the kitchen. The manager then comes over with food and a Togo box telling me I need to put it in the box and take it with me.??? I would be charge for it because they already made it. I then told her again it took a while to come out and my son is already finished. I'm not paying for it I can't even take it with me because I have things to do afterwards, it's going to go bad. She said that was ridiculous and to never come back. She got so upset when she turned around to leave she dropped all the toast. The reason I decided to write this is because I go there at least once a month sometimes or more, depends. We also support them thru delivery. This is the first time I had an issue and this is the way they handle it. I'm going to take her suggestion and NOT COME BACK. read more

We had a wonderful breakfast here on New Year's Eve. I had the mini classic - 2 eggs, bacon or sausage & mini pancakes. Everything was hot & cooked perfectly. My husband got the westgate skillet- chorizo, onion, green chiles, salsa & cheese with 2 eggs on top. He loved it! I had a bite and it was very flavorful. There were lots of menu options from omelettes to pancakes to French toast. Our service was quick and our server was friendly. The place is pretty large with lots of booths. I was having a deep craving for stuffed French toast. we had went somewhere last weekend but due to staffing t hff ry had limited menu. We had a few less than great experiences at scrambler but they did have the stuffed French toast on the online menu and called to verify. The parking lot was full. I went in to put our name in .. hubby kept circling for a parking spot. The wait was only 15 minutes. In previous visits the wait and service was slow and the food was mediocre but not today. The stuffed French toast was very good. The extra crispy bacon wasnt cooked enough. It wasnt an issue because I was more than full from the French toast. I asked for box for the bacon..she did offer to cook it more when she noticed it wasn't crispy. I declined... my air fryer will do it. Husband got croissant with eggs, cheese and veg. We were passing by Ohio from spending the weekend celebrating our daughter graduating from college in Indiana. We passed through to have breakfast with some family in the area. We called ahead to ensure there would be an available table for 7. We were told there would be. We arrived at 11:10 am...as we sat waiting parties of four and larger were leaving. As we watched people come in after us be seated we became a bit irritated. When asking the managers, they were confused as to what they were expected to do and what was happening. At 11:52 a manager told us we may be seated soon..after watching multiple parties be seated before us we finally left to eat somewhere down the street. Went on a Saturday around 11 and had no wait to be seated which was awesome. I got a Carmel iced coffee and man was it delicious! You are allowed 1 free refill so I got mine, drank a little, and got a to-go cup for the rest! For breakfast I got the old country as I crave biscuits and gravy so this was a no-brainer! The customer service sucks here! We had a party of 4 and there were at least 10 tables open, no one waiting. The hostesses tried but apparently the manager wouldn't allow. So we asked for a booth to sit down in and they tried to put us in small booth. I said that won't work and "Nancy" one of the servers walked by and with her smart attitude said "then you can go to back and wait until your party gets here". The food and service was amazing as always. I would highly recommend you visit this place when you are out by the Dayton Mall.

It's invested with roaches don't wash coffee or water jugs just re-uses roaches nest in the lid of the coffee pot don't use gloves at all. all food gets touched with unwashed bare hands always having plumping problems to where human feces comes up through the drain and will be all over the bathroom making the restaurant smell terrible they are very negligent don't even try to make it better read more

Visiting from Florida and went for a family breakfast. half of our party was running late. Put our name in and waited 15 min for a table for 6 only for the hostess to tell us they wouldn't seat us until our entire party was there. When I asked why she said they couldn't hold a table because they were busy. We had my elderly dad with us who didn't want to wait to sit. So we had to take a table for the three of us. There were 4 large tables open the entire time we were there. Needless to day the other half of our party didn't want to come because we couldn't sit together. it isn't like we wouldn't have ordered when the first half of us sat down. I had the avocado toast & eggs (over medium) which comes with a side (I chose hash browns). Our server was friendly & kept our drinks filled. Our food came out in about 10 minutes. My neighbor thought there was a scarce amount of food on his plate but I was happy to share my hash browns since his meal didn't come with a side. I'd like to give two thumbs up to our server "Kaitlyn" she thoroughly explained SCRAMBLERS menu with any questions we may have had. We also asked for wet wipes; Kaitlyn replied there weren't any available but she had some in her car. I had the worst service possible and will not ever go back! my shrimp and grits were usually great but, today was chunked full of onion (a lot) as soon as I asked to remake the server walked back and was talking and pointing at me to other servers. When I asked 3 times for more coffee she went off on a rand saying I was yelling at her. I had to get the manager to get her away from me. when she brought the jug of coffee she slammed down on the table. This server should be fired! So rude and confrontational it was simply the worst experience l have ever had. And as I left she was still talking hateful to me. I am not sure her name but older and short and has the section straight back as you walk in to the left. So embarrassed!!!! read more
