Super friendly service. Very attentive. My veggie omelette was delicious. Lots of sugary items on the menu so bring your sweet tooth.

What kind of pancakes are these. If I would've known I was getting microwaved pancakes I would've never gotten them

Service was not great either, food was mild. Okay place to go for breakfast, not the greatest ....

Went to Honey Toast due to the great reviews and word getting around town. And Honey Toast did not disappoint. They have a great breakfast menu, and brunch money with some really unique combos (I love unique). Their big unique item is a "croffle", you know like a croissant/waffle. They have some great toast options like Smoked Salmon Toast or Bacon-Egg Toast. They even have a kids menu so come one, come all. Thank you for thinking of the kids, :). The restaurant has a cool vibe to it, with a little asian flavor, which adds that unique aspect again. There are little hints of an asian inspiration in some of the dishes like "Asian Spicy Chicken Wrap)" and they have one of those cool IG (garden walls). So get your picture while visiting. The service was good and took care of us and our orders. Give Honey Toast a try, I really like how they bring their own character to the experience while eating, like check out their coffee/tea mugs. Those are not your normal mugs (ooo, that's because it's unique), isn't it great? Give the new Honey Toast a try and enjoy. I would highly recommend it. OO, what would I recommend to eat, give an omelette and waffles a go, they were delicious.

A Croffle by itself sounded like a crazy mash-up too unique not to try. And it did not disappoint! Amazing.

This is a wonderful brunch spot in Dayton! The service was quick and they were attentive. The decor was very cute and the food was great value. Everything came out aesthetically pleasing and was delicious--I'm obsessed with croffles! Easily one of my favorite breakfast places in the area!

Will comeback to work here and get some coffee. Started off with some fruit juice the green was good fresh but the other one paradise seems frozen so more like a smoothie. Ordered the chicken & waffles! (Not a fan of the mayo but it wasn't bad). Chicken was well seasoned and crispy and so was the waffle! We also got the cinnamon roll and that didn't disappoint! Was not super sweet, it was just right and the cheese cream icing was amazing! Now service was good, everyone was so friendly and had no problems! Again we had to wait like less than 10 mins. Seems like they were getting to people as quickly as they could!

Margot didn't finish her mimosa. I did finish the tequila sunrise, although calling it a tequila sunrise was generous. It was mostly a very sweet sunrise with rumors of tequila. Margot said her coffee was good, so we were off to a promising start. Then the food arrived. Cold. Margot ordered a breakfast bowl with the beef protein, which was so overcooked and so aggressively salted that she removed it from the bowl and left it on the plate. I assume it is still preserved somewhere in the restaurant and should remain perfectly edible well into the next century. Another person in our party ordered the same dish and had exactly the same experience with the protein. I keep using the word "protein" because I'm hesitant to call it meat--or beef, as the menu does--after seeing what actually arrived at the table. Whatever journey it took from cow to breakfast bowl clearly included several additional steps that were not necessary. I had two eggs, three sausage links and three pieces of bacon. Apparently the kitchen was equally concerned about my long-term preservation because the sausage and bacon contained enough salt to qualify as cured building materials. Both meals came with one piece of their "world famous" sourdough toast. One. Calling it a piece may also be generous. It was sliced thin enough that, under proper lighting, I believe you could read a newspaper through it. Another piece would have been appreciated, particularly considering toast appears to be part of the restaurant's identity. Service was an interesting team-building exercise. One person took our order, another brought drinks, someone else brought food, and yet another person checked the table. I believe we interacted with four different employees, which made it impossible to build any rapport with an actual server. Nobody was particularly terrible. Nobody seemed particularly responsible for us either. We didn't feel rushed, which was nice. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived but was absolutely packed by the time we left, with people lining up at the door. One thing we noticed on the way out: the restaurant itself looks great. Whoever designed the place clearly spent some serious time on Pinterest, and unlike the kitchen, they actually executed the assignment. At this point, Toasted may want to seriously consider a pivot. Close the kitchen, leave the furniture exactly where it is, and start designing restaurants for people who know how to cook. Because whoever is responsible for the interior clearly understands what a restaurant is supposed to look like. Now they just need someone who understands what the food is supposed to taste like. So clearly Toasted has found its audience. If you enjoy cold food, aggressively salted mystery protein, cocktails where the liquor is largely theoretical, and world-famous sourdough with the dimensions and structural characteristics of cardboard, you may have found your Sunday brunch destination. If you're preparing your body for long-term winter storage, even better. Margot and I will probably just admire the Pinterest board from a safe distance.

Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.

As two moms meeting for coffee with our young children, that atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, our experience in person was very different from what we expected. The space felt cold and industrial, with concrete floors, minimal décor, and very little to soften the noise. It was extremely echoey, and between the kitchen sounds and overall volume, it wasn't the comfortable environment we had hoped to spend time in with our babies. While there were couches and seating available, the overall setup felt more geared toward quick visits or takeout than relaxing and staying awhile. The coffee itself was good, and the menu offered plenty of interesting food and drink options. I can see how the space might appeal to someone looking for a quick coffee stop or a place to work on a laptop. However, the atmosphere wasn't inviting enough for us to want to stay, relax, or order anything additional. We were hoping for a cozy coffee shop experience, and the space simply didn't deliver that feeling. The biggest disappointment was the disconnect between the impression we got from social media and the actual experience of the space. Had we known what it was really like, we likely would have chosen a different location for our coffee meetup. Others may enjoy the industrial style, but families or friends looking for a warm, lounge-style coffee shop to settle into for a while may find the experience different than expected.
