This was our family's first time visiting this restaurant. We had heard some good things about the restaurant (specifically the Columbus Ohio location). It's a great location in Beavercreek close to everything! We were in town to do some shopping and needed to eat breakfast. It was quite busy, however, in spite of that, our waitress was very kind, polite, and friendly, which we truly loved! Due to it being our first time there they gave us a free appetizer of beignets. We did not expect that, but we really appreciated that. They were super yummy! We ordered powdered French toast with eggs and bacon,, chicken and waffles, and a Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. (We were so ready to eat that I forgot to take pics of all of the food). Overall, we were just not as impressed with the taste of our food as we truly had hoped to be. But we did enjoy the staff and being able to laugh and spend quality time with family. read more

Just remember when you sign up on waitlist that you remind them... the host put us as just coming in and we waited like we never signed up... what would have been customer service like and a better if they seated us next and didn't make us wait when he realized the mistake read more

Easy parking, big restaurant with lots of seating and mood lighting. I ordered a strawberry lemonade drink which was very refreshing, sweet and a bit tart. It came with a ton of strawberries in the drink too. I also ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were cook perfectly, smooth and creamy. But it lacked flavor, outside of eating the sausage and pepper. I would expect a bit more of a flavor profile from a Louisiana inspired spot. But the food was cooked nicely all in all. read more

Stopped by Another Broken Egg today for a late breakfast and tried several dishes. Despite it being a busy Sunday, we were seated within about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. Shortly after being seated, we were warmly greeted by Michelle, who quickly took our order and served us coffee We initially ordered the Floridian omelette, but unfortunately, something was off about it. We decided to switch to a simpler meal consisting of bacon, eggs, grits, seasoned potatoes, and an English muffin, which was much better. Can't go wrong with a classic like this Additionally, we ordered the Deep South Biscuit sandwich, which was a standout and truly captured southern flavors. This sandwich featured chicken tenders, pimento cheese, egg, and bacon jam, all served on a soft, flaky, oversized biscuit that crumbled delightfully in the mouth. It was a savory and satisfying dish with a perfect balance of flavors We also added a side of beignets, which were quite dense but very tasty, and finished the meal with a bowl of fresh fruit Overall, despite needing to exchange the Floridian omelette, everything else was delicious, and the service was excellent. Michelle was incredibly polite and provided outstanding customer service. We look forward to returning to explore more southern-inspired dishes! read more

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday. There was less than a 5 minute wait for a table. Our waitress was great and very attentive. The food was good, we got a variety of items from chicken and waffles, power bowls, sausage gravy and biscuits and 2 types of eggs Benedict. It was all tasty and the city grits were probably the best. Sadly the Benedict's were a little over done, but still good. We opted for a cold brew vanilla coffee which was good but a little sweet. We would come back. read more

A lot of unique egg choices here! My Crab Meat Eggs Benedict was fantastic! Real lump crab on two perfectly cooked eggs on a fresh English muffin. Very tasty! The service was average. Nothing to write home about. The interior was OK. Nothing fancy but clean and nice. For this place, it's definitely the food. Which is upscale just like the pricing. read more

Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Our French toast was undercooked. I thought the sausage gravy was way too sweet, and the sausage patty's were tasteless. Overall, our food was very disappointing. read more

Food is amazing and service is good. But how nasty the place is grosses me out. They need to do a deep clean it's disgusting.

A go-to brunch spot for my family and I and now I'm finally writing a review for it. My family started going to Another Broken Egg Cafe about 2 years ago and we love this southern brunch spot. It's a cute restaurant that has always given us great service and its food never misses for us. This cafe is southern rustic style but the ripped booths are a little TOO rustic for me. The length of the booth that we sat in was majorly torn. I always order the Lobster and Brie Omelette. I love seafood and omelettes so this is the perfect combination of both for me. I ordered the city grits on the side which tasted great and are very filling. I'll definitely be back but maybe you should replace the booth covers? read more

We stumbled upon this place for breakfast while in town for a family event. Wonderful food and service. My husband and I both ordered the veggie omelet. Feta cheese was perfectly fresh. Fruit side was blueberries, strawberries, pineapple and blackberries. Again all fresh and delicious. Highly recommended! read more

The food was scrumptious. We had a lemon and goat cheese pancake to share and a lobster omelette and a seafood omelette both with City Grits as a side. It was all appealing visually and perfect temperature. We were there about an hour before closing and it was not busy at all. I've been there when it's bustling too. This was very pleasant read more

This is the second time I have eaten here. In my opinion it is overrated and overpriced. I would much rather go to Honey Toast in Fairborn or First Watch, better food for about the same price or less. I got the tomato and bacon eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was way too thick and looked more like gravy. There was a bit of bitterness to the taste and the bacon was almost burnt. The potatoes were just basic nothing special. The coffee was strong and the mocha cold brew tasted like chocolate milk with no coffee flavor at all. Service was fine nothing special at the bar. Again I would prefer to spend my money at Honey Toast in Fairborn or First Watch. read more

The service is amazing but the food not so much, also very packed. I'm 13 and I make better French toast than them, I asked for French toast, and I got croutons to put in my salad. The bacon was pretty good but the eggs were part raw. The coffee was the highlight of the meal, which doesn't say much because I got black coffee. read more

They do not know how to use waitlist. I added myself to waitlist and was quoted 30mins so I showed up 10mins ahead of my 30 mins and they did not start my 30min wait until I checked in. Pointless. No wonder their lobby is full and tables not turned over in a timely manner. They can take a tip from First Watch on how waitlist works. read more

It was so good!! I enjoyed the Shrimp and City Grits Benedict and Abe Infused drink. Service was excellent!! Very casual and lots of room! Everything was WONDERFUL today. Candi and Ashlyn were amazing and they by themselves made the experience worth it. The food was delicious and I'd take a picture but I've already eaten it all! But food aside the drinks, kindness, hospitality, and atmosphere was the main winning points of today. Thank you Candi and Ashlyn for making a good breakfast the best. read more

The service was extremely slow. The place is ugly (they have partially converted a LaRosa's into the Broken Egg, but only partially). The place is in so much need of paint, new flooring, decorations etc. Don't know how long they have been open in this location. But we won't be back, because First Watch is better. read more

I had the shrimp and grits with cheese and andouille sausage, of which was delicious! The grits had a nice consistency ( and I don't like grits), the cheese, peppers and andouille sausages were mixed in nice with just a lil spicy kick! I really enjoyed it and would definitely have again. The server was very nice & pleasant, with a welcoming demeanor! The restaurant itself was very a laid back and inviting atmosphere! read more

Spiked Salted Caramel Coffee 4/10. Didn't really have a coffee or a caramel flavor to it. It's was very creamy, which I'm assuming was because of the baileys. Eggs Blackstone Benedict 9/10. The Benedict was delicious, hollandaise was made well and had a good flavor. The potatoes were very salty though. I also tried a few sips of the grand mimosa: too strong for me. And the lemon blueberry mimosa: it sounds good, but if you don't like blueberry, do not get this. Sorry I forgot the drink menu photos. read more

April 5, 2024 - our group of 11 w/a reservation came in for breakfast. We were promptly greeted and seated. And as you can imagine, we had several questions... Food and waitress is always great but you ask for a booth and wait an extra 40 min past reservation and still get go pass open booth to the corner with chairs to be seated... another waitress seen the open booth and came to ask me and seen them fill it after I was seated... she was stunned...Hostess act like superior gods and seat you where they want , outside the bathroom... attitude shows me it was done on purpose. My friends and I went to Another Broken Egg Café yesterday for brunch and let me say it was FANTASTIC. We arrived around 10 AM to make a reservation and ended up waiting about two hours but I will do it again. When we were seated we were put in the outside patio which is now covered. There was four of us and we split the apple pie mimosa. Definitely enough for 4 like it was recommended. My friend ordered the spiked spiced rum cold brew and it didn't even taste like coffee which I liked because I'm not a coffee drinker. For brunch, we ordered Crab Cake Benedict, Southwest Scrambler, Mardi Gras Omelette and another meal that I cannot remember. I personally had the southwest scrambler and I highly recommend it. It comes with salsa and guacamole to put on top as well as tortillas to make yourself a loaded tortilla. Everything that we ordered was fantastic and I cannot wait to go to Dayton again to have brunch at this restaurant as I am from Columbus. read more

Great service and delicious food! Big portions so I always have leftovers. It's usually busy but the wait is never long.

Food was amazing! The service was top notch! And the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!

Service is always fantastic. Food is amazing and gotta love the coffee. Atmosphere is always great.

We were not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were more like sunny side up - very runny. The breakfast potatoes were not very good at all. The French toast had parts that were not cooked completely. The syrup was not real maple syrup. There were two types of coffee to choose from but the server did not ask us which one we wanted. I think she brought us the darker roast but it wasn't very good. The coffee at the Holiday Inn Express next door was way better. And to top it off we paid $50 for breakfast for two. Definitely not worth the money. We were very disappointed and will not be going back. read more

Was in Dayton visiting some friends so we went to this place for brunch. The wait was pretty long as they seemed understaffed like everywhere else at the moment so understandable. Quite the extensive menu and a full bar with lots of interesting breakfast cocktails. We had the biscuit beignets and they were an unique take on beignets. Also has the salted caramel cold brew, which really hit the spot! We also had the cinnamon roll French toast which was good but super super sweet. Also had the biscuit sandwich which had friend chicken and gravy, it was fine but nothing special. I would go back just because of the amount of options on the menu. Prices were a bit higher than I was expecting but not unreasonable. read more
