Definitely satisfied my cheddar bay biscuit craving Plenty of room in the dining room, great parking, and easy to find location The server was quick and our drinks never went empty. We went during Lobster fest and the lobster tails were small but good, a bit over cooked but still really good. The flounder was delicious along with the claim chowder and the fried Brussel sprouts. The bay scallops I would pass and don't recommend. But over all it was a great night out for dinner and we will definitely be back.

We used to come here alot but the service and food went downhill. We decided to give it a try and its the best we had in many years. Kacee was excellent!!@ food came out fast and really hot. Very good experience

Shrimp and scallops were good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Besides the individuals eating crab legs and snorting like a baby pig, the visit was enjoyable. The Mrs enjoyed her scampi and mashed potatoes. The side salads are slightly larger than a side salad, which is a great bang for the buck.

The food was excellent. Our server Kevin was our favorite that we've had since we have been married (this was our 5th anniversary trip). He was reserved, respectful, and very attentive. Our waters were probably refilled/topped off 5 times during our visit.

When you've been to one you've been to them all. The cheddar bay biscuits never disappoint. We were able to be seated immediately. The service was good and the good was tasty.

The Ultimate Shrimp was delicious!! The waitress was wonderful! Service was quick & on time.

Tried the new seafood boil, it was well seasoned with the perfect amount of lobster and shrimp. I loved it.

I had Mahi Mahi with mango salsa, Cole slaw and a crab cake. The mahi mahi was fresh & delicious and I really liked the mango salsa with its hint of heat! Cole slaw was good but not great. The crab cake was also good. My SO had the Mahi Mahi & shrimp with the Brussels sprouts. Again the Mahi Mahi was great, but the shrimp was a bit overcooked (chewy). The Brussel sprouts were delicious and clearly not diet food. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

Started off with some amazing cocktails and appetizers to get things rolling The sea bass and broccoli were the absolute stars. They were so good it was exactly what I came for. The pan-seared trout with au gratin potatoes slapped too. The creamy tomato linguine with chicken was one of those dishes you don't expect to be amazing...and then it is. The Bang Bang shrimp tacos were seasoned perfectly and the fries didn't stand a chance with my daughter on the case My uncle also had a perfectly cooked filet, super tender lobster, and my aunt's cedar plank salmon with asparagus, which was just flat out spot on And shoutout to Andrea, who took great care of us all night. Party of 8 can be rough, but she was friendly, on point, and kept the whole evening smooth Overall, an awesome way to celebrate my birthday right before Thanksgiving. We'll definitely be back!

While the atmosphere was still pleasant, the overall experience has noticeably declined. They took my phone number to text me when the table was ready. But really used it to harass me about a survey after eating. They seated us in the too small for most people booths so I sucked my gut in . The steak arrived as a mystery item as opposed to what I ordered. Our server spoke just enough words to validate herself as human, and not a fembot. Overall, the skyhigh prices weren't in line with the output. The salad was as good as I remember, so was the queso. When I left, I revisited my farting experience.

La Embajada La…read moreEmbajada is an Argentine Steakhouse, mobile kitchen and catering venture in Dayton, Ohio, that specializes in Argentinean, Italian and Spanish cuisine - nearly fine dining. We arranged to arrive ten minutes early in order to converse with Mónica Fabregat. Well worth the planning and effort. Mónica was delighted to learn that we have visited Argentina and experienced the people, cuisine, beauty, and various wineries. I had to ask Monica if she had visited Bariloche. Bariloche is located in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes on the southern shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake, near the border with Chile. Aspen, Colorado, is the most frequent U.S. city comparison for Bariloche due to its shared identity as a premier, upscale mountain resort destination. Both cities are famous for high-end skiing, luxury lodges, and a sophisticated, "ritzy" atmosphere that attracts wealthy international travelers. Beyond Aspen, Bariloche is often compared to other U.S. mountain and outdoor-centric locations for different reasons. Monica explained that "Argentine cuisine is primarily the union of food from our two biggest immigrant populations, Spain and Italy," Throughout the menu, Spanish and Italian influences are easy to spot, from espresso, pastas and flatbreads to empanadas, Argentine sausages and chorizos. La Embajada is a small, nicely decorated, pleasant restaurant - Qualifies as a Date Night with your wife, and my wife greatly approves. Service is excellent. YELP is always a must consult for us, and folks have consistent posted 5 Star reviews. We always take care to download the menu prior to dining. The Dictator Steak caught my eye the previous night, and I asked Monica which steak she recommends. Her reply was the Dictator Steak - a 30 day aged Ribeye. Difficult to find a 30 day aged Ribeye in the Dayton market. Monica then offered a nice Cabernet Sauvignon; I immediately declined and Monica smiled - she then offered a Malbec. Sorry, I forget the label, but very often we order a Malbec rather than a Cabernet Sauvignon. The single flaw (not the restaurant's doing) was the appearance of 14 young parents and very young children without reservations.... Folks do some minimal research - No one suddenly appears at an upscale restaurant in a group this size without reservations. During our three week Overseas Adventure Travel visit, we experienced a winery every day, and we came to favor Malbec. Malbec is a dark, full-bodied red wine grape known for its deep color and rich, fruity flavors like plum and blackberry, with notes of vanilla, cocoa, and tobacco, especially when aged in oak. Originally from France, where it's a key Bordeaux blending grape, it has become the signature grape of Argentina, thriving in high-altitude vineyards and producing wines with soft tannins and balanced acidity, making it a classic pairing for grilled meats like steak. My wife specified the Mixed Grill and the Seafood Bowl; Paella-style rice with shrimp, mussels, calamari and octopus. Of course, our plan was to enjoy "leftovers" at home, and we did. I observed to Monica that often in Buenos Aires steak restaurants place a live fire BBQ with steak in the front window; she knew about this and replied this would violate fire code in US. She observed these were higher priced restaurants for tourist, and I agreed. I found in Buenos Aires, by walking a few blocks, a similar menu was available for 50% less. Caveat: Go to La Embajada as soon as possible and do visit Bariloche when in Argentina.
