The curry was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was crispy and moist. We got their Thai iced tea and iced coffee and both were sweet and refreshing. The portions are generous and couple who own it are wonderful people. The place was clean and well lit and the service relaxed and friendly. We are dummies and didn't realize the nude pad Thai didn't come with noodles. If you are a dummy as well now you know. Also dumb of us, maybe, was not to realize the dish, which came with all kinds of seafood, would be pretty fishy tasting. As in, if you like a seafood medley in your pad thai, you hopefully like fish sauce. My wife and I - not so much. The red curry with fried chicken was great. This place is ridiculously overpriced for the little bit of food you get. We bought 2 "chef's specials." The lamb curry was tasty when you could find a piece of lamb. It was mostly just big chucks of potato sprinkled with whole peanuts for $20 dollars. The roti is came with was extremely greasy and burned. I wish I had my phone to take pictures. The dipping sauce was delicious. The choo chee chicken was fine on its own but was not very flavorful. When trying to combine it with the curry served with the chicken it tasted strange. It did not go together at all. The curry is super heavy and just did not taste good. Two other family members, who are super picky eaters at all tried it and even they did not like it. Everyone agreed that the lamb curry had a better flavor. The three little pieces of lamb that were found under all of the huge chunks of potatoes were very tender. I would actually eat that dish again IF it actually had a decent amount of lamb. The lamb should have been the star of the dish not the potatoes as it is a lamb curry not vegetarian curry dish. We also ordered a thai tea with coconut milk. We have only had it with half and half before but it was quite nice with coconut milk. I am not sure if they just skimped on the meat and gave us burnt roti because it was take out or if this is how they serve their food. We are very familiar with thai food and this experience is subpar unfortunately. With a few tweaks it could be a lot better. Hoping the owners read the comments and get back with their unsatisfied customers to try to make it right. read more
