    Mango salad

Loved Thai Maison! The food and service were great, and the interior design of the restaurant was very attractive to me. My favourite part is hands down the food. Nothing impresses me more than a menu with a variety of delicious gluten-free and dairy-free options!

Food and service was amazing! The flowers and chandeliers were gorgeous so ambiance was also amazing!! Server was helpful and told me about different spots I could visit while in town. The mango sorbet was top tier! And I had level 2 spice which wasn't overly spicy but would have appreciated a bit of a stronger soy flavor on my phad see lew but otherwise it was perfect and adding there sweet and sour sauce made up for that lack of soy quite easily!! Highly suggest and will be back next time i'm in town! Happy new year

Come here at the wrong day/time, and you'll spend a lot of time trying to find a parking space, due to Trader Joe's. Parking was next to impossible on a Sunday evening. The person who took our takeout order was very nice, and gave a time estimate of 15-20 minutes. Our food was ready in about that time, so not bad for a Sunday dinner. We shared a Tea Leaf salad, and a Mango salad. I couldn't mix the tea leaf salad (not enough room in the takeout container), so I feel like I didn't get the "full" experience, but it was pretty good. There was a lot of lettuce, though, and we weren't thrilled with the fried peanuts; wished they were fresh. The Mango salad was both our favorites. The salad was sweet, but also spicy. We ordered spice level of 1. Their online ordering system is very well designed. Tried it for lunch the next day. I had another salad (Papaya salad this time), with my husband opting for Pad Prik Khing (with mixed veggie as the "meat" choice), plus brown rice. Their brown rice was a very good blend of brown, and others (wild and sticky?). Pad Prik Khing seemed to be a garlic sauce. The extra veggies were decent; it was a filling meal. I had a final meal here later in the week. I had a Papaya salad again because it was so good the first time. My husband had a Tofu Larb salad (but requested soft instead of fried tofu). This time, my husband felt the 1* spice level was nearly non-existent, so a bit of a discrepancy. Also, soft tofu doesn't absorb any of the sauce/dressing (it's not cooked with it, of course, just added later), so he felt it wasn't a smart pairing with Tofu Larb. His fault!

Nice place decorated nicely next to the Trader Joe's. Service was fast, attentive, and kind. Food was great! The Mango Salad was spectacular!

Amazing service, delicious food, 10/10 experience here! Definitely coming back, we love the quality and the freshness in each dish

The food wasn't bad. I had the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli. It was not bad. They didn't give much crispy pork belly for a $20 dish. My teammate that ordered the pad kee mao wanted it with pork but got it with chicken instead. I asked him to let the waiter know but he didn't want to wait for another dish to be ready as we've got so much time alotted fit dinner. If the price is like in Seattle, I do have a level of expectation that should be met. I did love the indoor decorations of the restaurant and its ambience. We were one of 3 customers in there at the time.

    Tom Yum Soup [GF,VR]

I've been here weekly since we first tried it a month ago and everything has been amazing so far!!! Tom yum soup seafood is our favorite! Beware their spices are spicy for level 3. The duck and lamb have been very tasty curries a little sweet but cooked to perfection . Staff is super friendly! Food comes out pretty quick even on busy nights.

Holy buckets! This was one of the best meals we've had in a long time; I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. My wife had the house ginger beer, which was very fresh and ginger-y, and reminded her more of a ginger-lemonade than ginger beer. I had the Thai Iced Tea (and later Thai coffee) and both were fantastic. For appetizers we tried the fried brussels sprouts and the pork belly. The fried brussel sprouts also came with some bonus broccoli and garlic, and were deliciously crunchy and fragrant; fresh lemon wedges and a curry aioli were perfect sides. The caramelized pork belly was not crispy (which is the presentation I've normally seen), but was instead beautifully and flavorfully braised with bok choy, green onions, and a delicious sauce. Both apps were 10/10. For the mains, my wife got the Massaman Lamb Curry, and I got the Pad Kra Prao with crispy pork belly, an egg, and rice. Both were revelatory, in different ways. The curry was like a fusion of Thai and Indian flavors, with a generous amount of potatoes and lamb; she said it was one of the best curries she's ever had. Mine leaned much more into traditional Thai flavors, and was also one of the best meals I've ordered in years. Service was prompt and attentive, and the ambiance was bright, welcoming, and nontraditional for a Thai place (made me think of a French-style cafe or something). The prices are a bit higher than some Thai restaurants, but we felt that was more than reflected in the quality of the food. My wife and I were looking for Thai for lunch, and just stumbled across this gem, and boy am I glad we did! It tasted like food prepared by people who love food. We will definitely be back, and we think you should give it a go as well!

The seasonal decorations were darling for the holidays! I appreciate they included unique menu items. I loved the roti and peanut sauce with noodles with fried tofu! The dish had lots of yummy veggies. I dipped the roti into the sauce! So good! The staff were very hospitable, yet never pushy!

I love this place so much. The service was amazing and quick. They were so nice I wanted to give them all hugs. Then the food came and I was in heaven. It was delicious and the portions were satisfying. The restaurant itself was clean, peaceful, and easy on the eyes. Highly recommend! :)

They have a pretty much perfect interior design and furnishing: very chill and simple but also very charming decor. Menu is very straightforward and simple and has pretty good pricing especially for a Bellingham spot. Service was great and not overstimulating like many places. Food was actually extremely well thought out and executed. Platings come in 2 sizes with simple choices of fillings/sauces, and the portion sizes were excellent- 1lb for me (a bigger guy) and 1/2 for the lady and we both were comfortably full after eating! Dessert deserves its own section in this review because holy mole: it was truly impeccable. I've had quite a few desserts in my time but these really "took the cake". Honey cake was beautiful and soft, it had a gentle sweetness and almost had a spiced undertone to it. Very light and very well executed, it sat perfectly with the dumplings. But the CRÈME BRÛLÉE :') I truly could weep over how beautiful this dish was, it was like I found the love of my life all over again. Gently centered on a plate half dusted with powdered sugar, topped with a small fresh strawberry and sprig of mint. Truly mind boggling how good it was, an incredible mix of sweet crème and gentle taste of black tea. I never expected this to be such a great combination but it was incredibly well executed. Whomever the mastermind was behind the creation of the menu and shop: I tip my hat to you, for this was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was obviously very thoughtfully planned out and perfected, I have mad respect for their work. 2 plates of dumplings, 2 drinks and 2 desserts was under 80$. An all time favorite date night spot at a much more reasonable price than other places near Barkley/Bellingham. 11/10 If I could give more than 5 stars I would

I was the only one there. I always wonder when I go to any food establishments that are this slow. Either their food is not that good or they have bad service or overpriced. I ordered a whole LB and my girls got drinks from the cooler fridge. I guess I should have paid more attention, but the lady charged me for 2 orders. Only realized that after I sat down and was wondering why my bill was like $90. When I went to the counter, the assistant pretty much placed the blame on me... " sorry for the misunderstanding " But the thing is there was no misunderstanding, I was pretty clear on what I ordered, either she wasn't listening or paying attention... She did offer me a refund, but at the time the food was already at the table. I chose to just take the "extra" surprise order to go. Dumplings were mediocre at best. I have had my share of Russian dumplings all the way from Moscow to New York to Chicago and this was hands down was the loser of all. Sauces were not bad but not enough for me to come back or to recommend this place to anyone. I would go to Pelmeni downtown instead next time.

We saw some people exiting Goat Mountain and were able to snag their empty seats at the bar. Lucky us! And not only for the seats. We've never been here before, and we had a great time. We ordered the Goat Mountain Salad--huge! A bargain! Varied! Delicious! And I, who has never met a beet that I didn't dislike, was delighted that ingredients were grouped individually so I could avoid those. Wonderful salad! And--for a mere buck--you can order a dressing on the side for anything you want. The buttermilk was delicious. I ordered a slice of the Apple & Bacon pie; my guy, Potato & Bacon. Upon their arrival, our notions of pizza were shattered. These were big slices of cake! (Website says Roman-style--we've been to Rome, but these exquisite things were very different.) Totally yummy. As was the warm chocolate chip cookie--divine. (Funny story: I didn't have my readers on. I thought the price was $25. "That's quite a cookie!" I thought, imagining one as large as a pizza--which, incidentally, would have been more expensive than their full pizzas! I looked over the Happy Hour menu, planning a future return. The cookie on the HH menu was only $2. A savings, I excitedly told our bartenders, Miyuki and Montana, of $23!!! No, they told me: 50 cents. I hadn't been able to see the dot.) And speaking of our barkeeps, I am so glad we sat up at the bar. They were wholly delightful and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with them. We felt like we had just moved and this was our new "neighborhood bar." And their recommendations for food and drink were spot on. The Smoke in Mirrors was fantastical! Great place!

This is one of our easy go-to's when looking to dine out. We were happily helped by friendly bartenders, Nicole and Sie, who made great recommendations and great drinks for us. I especially loved the Mario Cicotti cocktail (an interesting variant of an Old Fashioned--including tobacco bitters and charred orange peel!--very interesting). We ended up putting them in the car because it was such an awkward height distance (they are small dogs). I was excited about the online menu since they had a lot of gluten free options. The menu in person was different than the menus I saw online and on Yelp. Not too different, just definitely a rotation/seasonal element. I perhaps had some gluten free vegan wings in my heart that have not seen the menu in a while but are posted online a lot. I got a hawaiian style bowl with tofu and my fiance got a sandwich. We each got a cocktail as well, and our total was $100. I thought this was a little steep, but we did like everything we got.
