It's a nice establishment and the food is good. Reasonable prices. Portion sizes were average. For me it was missing the depth of flavor that can be had at other places. read more

What a delicious surprise !! the food was delicious, the staff were super helpful, and it's family owned. I will definitely go back..

Ordered to go and service was extremely fast, faster than Burger King across parking lot! Food, while ok, is a bit underwhelming. Normally when I order Chicken Pad Thai at other restaurants am asked a spice level, not here. Portion size is good though food seems a bit expensive for lunch. Staff was very friendly, ambiance was warm and inviting, including music they were playing, the standard stuff. A star was lost due to price of food and general bland taste. Service was top notch and very fast. Am glad tried it though not sure if will return. read more

I ordered a meal through door dash, the wait time was good and the delivery person was friendly and courteous. My meal was a little disappointing. I ordered combination option of Pad Thai & Red Curry with chicken. The Pad Thai was as basic as I have ever had, there were crushed peanuts mixed in instead of sprinkled on top, no bean sprouts or shredded carrot garnish. The curry had a couple large pieces of chicken but no basil and negligible veggies. Both tasted okay but the restaurant skimped on the things that I e enjoyed at many Thai restaurants previously. read more

I love this place. I told my family this the only place I will go out for dinner. I give you 10 out of 10. The service was perfect, the food came out quickly and delicious. You made my week. read more

Authentic Thai food, the lady asked if I was Thai and i said yes, we spoke for a bit and she suggested the Larb Gai, loved it and the spice was just right, she was very friendly. food was great and it reminded me of my moms home cooking. some folks says its bland, but they make it to your liking, I explained to her i like the Thai style, where they add a specific ingredient. some people who are not familiar with it may not know what it is, so when i asked her she knew right away what i was asking for, which was great! read more

Tasty food, but very small servings. About half the size of other similar restaurants. Going out to eat is pricey these days - at least they can give you a good amount of your dish. read more

Food was tasteless. The veggies and meat were fresh but for Thai food it not very tasty. I was disappointed.

Quickly seated and ordered within 4 minutes--1 minute after reviewing the menu. Instrumental music playing--guitar. A few tables emptied so very quiet just before 1:00 pm. Wife ordered a dish with 0 spice and I ordered mine Thai spicy 5. Not sure if it is a Bellingham thing but level 5 spicy is SOOOOOOO weak. The only place that has gotten close is Blue Mountain Grill otherwise every Thai restaurant from Blaine to Fairhaven is a level 2. The flavor was excellent but not Spicy even with added chili paste. Maybe I'm spoiled from 60 years of Los Angeles thousands of multicultural restaurants with so many different. Also, the portion for my dish was barely enough for a child. Disappointed yet again. read more

Very nice inside, nice workers, food was tasty! You also have the option to make your meals spicy :)

We went there and had 3 dishes. My wife had Red Curry Chicken, my son had Garlic Chicken and I had the Spicy Noodles with chicken. The service was great, the place clean and the staff friendly. And most of all the food on all three was delicious with just the right amount of heat. read more

Horrible. We have gotten take out here for years. Through Viking. Today was the last time we will ever do that. Ordered our usual for our family, pad Thai, chicken fried rice, sweet n sour chicken and spring rolls. $100. Spring rolls are $2.00 more now but order was the same. Our sweet n sour chicken container was half the size as normal and only 3/4 full barely. Totally got ripped off. And now the pad Thai and fried rice are half of the portion that they used to be but more $$. Had to go to town and order more food from a different thai place to feed my family. Never again Thai House! read more

Great service and awesome food! Love the Green curry here! And the Thai teas are delicious!

We ordered chicken Pad Thai and Swimming Rama with chicken. Our coconut appetizer came, but the server didn't give us plates. It was hot and the sauce was syrupy, but we only had napkins. Our entrees were served as if they were for each of us, and we had to ask for plates to share the dishes. We had to request chopsticks. The food was OK but bland, we ordered two stars spicy. There were families in the restaurant, with children, so it was noisy. The single server was stretched, and she asked about our meal when we finished. read more

It really saddens me to say that this was literally the best Thai food in town and delivery food was amazing as well. It is no longer an option. read more

It was fine. They have been there for 28 years, and the interior looks like it. If you are at all into having a clean environment, probably not your place. Food was good, it was fine. When you order curry you have to pay extra for rice. I have never had that before. Non-repeat place for us read more

Went there and got red chicken curry. 20 dollars. Which is expensive for the size this was in my opinion. The rice box is hobbit size. Also the curry wasn't was like warm at best. Don't know if they heated it up or made some kind of mistake. Had to microwave it and I live 2 minutes away from place and waited there for my curry. read more

Thai House Restaurant - Super small quantity, expensive. Got red chicken curry to go, this was 20 dollars, and it wasn't hot. Taste was standard. - Thai Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

Everything tasted delicious. We ordered for pickup, just for me [my husband refuses to try Thai with me, as he has had bad experiences with Thai food] and they were kind to accommodate right before closing. I was surprised at the price and sizes for sauces. My husband went in to pick up, as I am disabled. We did not receive a receipt, so i do not know why it was so expensive. Over $20. I ordered a large peanut sauce and was bummed to receive a small soufflé cup of it, under a couple ounces. I wanted a side of coconut curry, and it was good, but I expected it to be just curry, it had vegetables in it. If i had known it would be with veggies, and that I was getting a big order of it, then i would have asked for tofu too. Also, I asked for spicy sauce on side, and it was so too small, like only a couple teaspoons of it!!! The rice was only a small thing of rice, about one cup, which was definitely not enough for the meal. So, some dissatisfaction. We will have to go back sometime and try again. read more

Had lunch here one day while in Bellingham. Ordered the Tom Yum soup - and asked - as I did not see it on the menu about Papaya salad. Yes, they do offer it - so I ordered that as well. I was asked how spicy I wanted my food? I advised I wanted it very spicy! I was served a very small cup of soup while I was waiting for my order - not sure what it was exactly but it was very garlicky. The food came out a few minutes later. I was surprised to see how big the bowl of Tom Yum was. They served it with noodles. I've never seen it served like that before. I skipped the noodles and ate the chicken, shrimp, vegetables and broth. The broth had a nice flavor, spicy and it seemed also to have a bit of garlic in it. Flavor-wise it was very good. You don't get much protein in bowl though - I had two shrimps and a few small pieces of chicken. I devoured the Papaya salad. The Papaya salad was very spicy - and a bit heavy on the garlic. I felt like I was emanating garlic when I walked out of there. Overall a decent lunch experience. read more

We ordered takeout by phone. It was done very quickly and wasvery tasty. Owners are super sweet and helpful.

This is a simple little Thai restaurant very near the I-5 freeway exit into Bellingham. There was not many people in the restaurant during my visit, but it got bussier as the evening went along. The Tum Yum Goong hot and sour soup with shrimp was fantastic. The Tofu app was just "so-so". It was okay, but can't say that I have ever ordered deep fried tofu and it arrived at my table breaded and fried.....different. The waitress was attentive, very polite and kept my glass filled. Perfect. read more

Food was pretty bland. Service was also okay, it took awhile for our drinks to be asked for and our order to be taken. Then when the food arrive, we were never checked in by the waitress until we were getting ready to leave. I believe the only okay item was the curry rice that came with chicken, shrimp, pineapple, and nuts. Other than, nothing very special here. read more

We are out of towners and stopped by because we were craving some Thai food after a trip up to Mt. Baker. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the staff were so friendly and kind. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the Bellingham area. The spring rolls, red curry and pad see ew were amazing!! The server went above and beyond to make our experience special, even giving special attention to our three year old. I highly recommend this place! read more

i went to this house today... me and my partner literally threw up in the restroom because it smelt like sewage bad in the restaurant and it wasn't the back room it's self i feel they have sewage backing up in their lines.. the place is super ran down and very dirty!!! i wouldn't eat here we got super sick just from walking in we refunded our food read more

Justs topped in to try. Green curry was watery/over fish sauced in taste/ all bamboo shoots/ small amount of chicken/ barely a vegetable to be had except bamboo shoots. They gave 1/2 pint of rice barely enough for one person. I also tried the Tom Yum with prawns, much tastier but not as vibrant as should be. Overall they need to step up their game especially with curries. Nice people. Just not much for a 31.00 price tag. Sorry won't be returning. read more

My last order awhile back was pretty bland and very very greasy- which is not normal for this establishment and I was really dissatisfied. But since then I recently had the Thai angel noodle dish today.... It was so damn good! Noodles were addicting. Perfect spice level, great veggies and yummy chicken. Could use a few more shrimp (but like when is more shrimp NOT favorable?) The curry flavor is mellow but super tasty. I ate waaayy too much but no regrets. Also, my salad roll was very fresh, I loved it. read more

Food O.K. Ordered Tom Gai coconut with Chicken soup, Red in color, which to me had an artificial or ketchup color, but great flavor, most other Thai has no red color. Pad Si Mao(wide.rice noodle) with beef did not have the gravy, very metallic at first and mellowed after an hour but metallic. Not enough gravy and noodles stuck, typical I will say for this dish. Very nice peopme5with a definitely audible singing worker in back, happy worker. read more

I generally don't branch out when it comes to Thai food. Today I'm extremely glad my wife and I decided to try this little hole in the wall. The food was fantastic! All the flavors mixed amazingly well together. The squid was cooked so perfectly, most Thai places over cook it and it becomes rubbery but this was nowhere near. The waitress was hilarious. All in all, I would recommend Thai House to anybody! read more

Will not return. Made a to-go order and chatted with the employee on the phone about how I always go back and forth between 3 star and 4 star when I order thai food. I went with 3 star for both orders. $23 for Phad Thai and Phad See Ew. I'm fine with that price if the quality matches. I'll pay the same at Nok's (or any other Thai in Seattle or Portland), or I'll be just as happy paying way less at On Rice. Get what you pay for. (Overheard an employee telling other employee she was angry about table 15 receiving their food 20 minutes before another table that was their first) My order was ready 35 minutes later and an employee announced my Phad See Ew and Phad Thai 2 stars was ready. Me: "Oh, I ordered 3 stars, not 2 stars." Employee: "Let me get you some spices. Sometimes it is not very spicy." Proceeds to reopen my to-go bag and add small containers of spices. A lot more Phad Thai than Phad See Ew. Awkward. Phad Thai is reddish and tastes like spaghetti sauce. Also awkward. Both orders of noodles are over-cooked and very soft. Where are the flavors and spices? Bland and blah. Slight metallic taste in some of the noodles. I usually attend restaurants more than once before I solidify judgement but I have no reason to return to Thai House. There are many other great (Thai) restaurants. read more

Thai House Restaurant - Interesting portion sizes. Awkward. - Thai Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

You cannot get any more traditional and authentic Thai Cuisine than from Thai House. Nestled within a building shared by other business, sits this amazing Thai restaurant. Their location on 187 Telegraph road keeps them from being seen from the street but once found you will keep coming back! They do such a great job at creating simple yet rustic Thai Cuisine that no other restaurant in Bellingham does. Whether your go-to choices are classics like pad Thai or pad see ew, they won't disappoint. Simply put, they have great food, wonderful staff with exceptional service, and a huge menu that caters to everyone! I recommend their pad Thai of course, but also their spicy fried rice, deep fried calamari, and their ginger chicken! read more

Thai House Restaurant is your standard Thai food. Nothing was spectacular, but it wasn't bad. Prices are fair for the portion size. Personally I felt the pad thai tasted cheapened and the sauce tasted too ketchup-y. There is ample parking and the restaurant is spacious and clean. The owners (I believe) serve the tables and are very friendly. Wait time was on the longer side. It's a fine place to stop while traveling through if you're really desperate for Thai food. Otherwise, I personally would not return and would look elsewhere for a pit stop. read more

Decent Thai food, very friendly service. The prices are good, and you get a good amount for what you pay. Be forewarned, unless I am misreading their menu, they charge you $1.50 for soda and $2 per refill. Not that I object to this, endless soda isn't really that awesome for you, nor isn't a basic human right, but that seems a bit steep for sugar water and ice. Note for Disabled: Reasonably accessible, has its own parking lot. read more

Very tasty Thai home cooking. Be specific with degree of spice in your food. Mild was pretty spicy in green curry. Very good daily specials.

So if you can get past the crazy guide traffic and the fact that this place is sandwiched into a tight strip mall, you will be in for a real treat! Very charming decor. Service like this.. one never tires of. The food is like something you would expect to find in a far more worldly city than B'ham, in a fancy 4 star restaurant. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I had the cashew chicken. First we were served a broth like rice soup. It was tasty. Both dishes were served on beautiful blue/white fish large platters which were quite interesting. A symphony of flavor for our tongues. Absolutely harmonious!!! Portion size is great, some might have to take some home, we left with full bellies . This was our first time here after a few to-go orders delivered by Viking Foods with the ladies at work. Also a mention of music and atmosphere...I felt like for 45mins that we were on a mini vacation, it was very peaceful and serene. Looking forward to going back soon. read more

I would never go back there again. My drunken noodles were rotten, tasted like eating cardboard, smell horrible with those bamboo shoots. You must not add bamboo shoots to drunken noodles period!! Larb kai was ok but wouldn't be worth going back for it. I am so disappoint that we cannot find an authentic Thai food up here in Bellingham.
