Food was great. Service was quick on a weekday early evening. Overall good experience, will return for dine in.

Take note: this restaurant is takeout/delivery only- do not expect to be able to go in and sit down! All our food was beautifully presented and wonderfully fresh. It took around 40 mins to assemble (as we visited during dinner hour) but the people inside were very helpful and assisted us in ordering. The fish still had the taste of ocean in it, and the rice was not overly seasoned. Sushi was wrapped well and didn't fall apart when bitten. The texture of the salmon sashimi especially was excellent. Everything in the takeout boxes was perfect! Do try this place out next time you want quality sushi for a fair price.

Sushi tasted fresh and presentation was good for being take out. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing that would bring me coming back. Disappointed that this place is take out only - planned to be here for a date night. Pricing seemed to be a little on the higher end. My recommendation is enjoy sushi at a somewhere that serves in restaurant. I feel like sushi is meant to be enjoyed and savored. But, if you're a take out sushi person this maybe your place. Nothing totally wrong otherwise. I would consider coming back in the future if they ever decide to open their doors. They have a nice, cute space in Downtown Fairhaven.

In a town without a ton of sushi options I was excited when Fujisan opened their doors last year! Born of a former tiny food stall in the now-defunct Bellingham Public Market building, Fujisan is a sweet, brightly-lit space in Fairhaven offering elevated sushi, rolls, and other Japanese offerings like ramen. On my first visit I enjoyed a couple of rolls - including a hamachi roll which was divine. My daughter enjoyed her salmon roll, too. The fish was fresh and the rolls were enormous and filling. On my second visit I ordered the spicy miso ramen and (wow!) was it delicious. Packed full of noodles and topped with a poached egg it was rich and filling. So filling, in fact, that I had to take most of it home to finish for dinner later that day. Fujisan can get busy at lunch, so go early. Or, better yet, get takeout and/or have a sushi picnic at one of the nearby parks. So glad we have yet another great sushi option here in town!

Best sushi restaurant in town! The food here is so fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is a bit small but has a great vibe. The best part is you can place an online order which makes for a quick and easy pickup.

Ordered pick up from here around 6pm. Order took a little longer than expected. I showed up at the quoted time and had to wait another 15 minutes. I ordered the salmon and yellowtail sashimi, uni and unagi nigiri, and tonkazsu ramen. The sashimis were amazing. Very fresh and the cut size were perfect. The yellowtail just melt in your mouth like butter. The nigiri were good too. Uni nigiri had a very generous portion of uni on top. Ramen was OK. Broth was tasty. I issue was that they packaged the noodle and broth and topping all together. By the time I ate it (only 15 minutes since the order was prepared), the noodle was already soaking up the broth and became mushy. I didn't take off any star for that because I don't think it's entirely their fault. Ramen was not the best to go food. Though I recommend them packaging the noodles separately from now on. Bottom line - I went their for their sushi/sashimi, and I am very happy about them.

The food was amazing! It was super easy to order online and it was ready exactly 30 minutes later. The quality of the fish was really good albeit the fact the fish was spiced a little thin for my taste. The fish was buttery and not stringy at all.Although they do not have the option to dine in at the moment, the restaurant is quaint and cozy, and seems like a family business. Definitely recommend.

The food was great! We were craving for sushi and they did not disappoint. Both the salmon roll and eel roll were yummy. The employees are very kind during the short interaction we had. Note to plan ahead of time as they only do pickup and no dine-in, and the wait on a weekend evening was ~40 minutes. There is a chess board inside if you'd like to play as you wait.

i LOVE it here so much ! the presentation is amazing and the chefs know what theyre doing :D its my favorite place to eat sushi here in bellingham and the staff is really nice and helpful !!! always makes my day better whenever i get food from here, the salmon is my favorite but my partner gets the shrimp tempura rolls and its always crispy (as long as you eat it within like 30 ish mins or it gets soggy, duh)

Wanted to try everything but ended up with Gyoza, Fresh Rolls, Tonkazsu Ramen; and creamy scallop roll. Everything was so flavorful. I am full and happy!

Eating here was an experience that I really enjoyed. When you first come in, everything matches the aesthetic, the tiled walls with the wooden tables and chairs are really cute. The ambience is very relaxing and they play instrumental versions of popular songs. As for the food, they don't put a lot of sauce on their sushi so it allows you to really taste the fish. I got the hamachi king and the fire salmon and they both looked and tasted amazing! We also had the red fujisan ramen which has delicious tender meat and a soft boiled egg. I prefer the broth at muto but this ramen is still delicious! The service is really good as well! No complaints. I felt like I could really take my time to eat and enjoy my food. I'm glad I tried this place,

Delicious. Their spicy sauce is actually spicy. Wish we could have eaten in the restaurant but they are still to go only.

Part of my "food plan" for 2026 includes giving restaurants I previously avoided another chance…read more Zen Sushi was near the top of this list! When they opened many years ago, there was a lot of well-deserved local buzz. From stunning decor to one of the longest sushi conveyor belts I've ever seen, it was worth a visit just for the visuals. But the food and service were inconsistent, and I ended up never going back after my first few tries. Fast forward to the other night, my daughter and I did a mini "sushi hop" and ended up here. I have to say, I was pretty darn impressed! The conveyor belt was still just as long, and the ginormous sculpture (imported from Thailand IIRC) was still looming over the place. But they seem to have settled into their groove after so many years in business here in the Ham. We enjoyed a variety of options from the belt, including a few tasty rolls, as well as some nigiri ordered off the menu. Everything was fresh, hearty, and delish. I thought the prices weren't too bad, either. I will definitely look forward to visiting here again next time I'm having a sushi craving. I do want to say something about the service, as I noticed some recent reviews have mentioned problems in this area. On our visit, our server was very responsive and the special menu items we ordered came out quickly. So, at least on this particular night, there were no issues for us. Hopefully they're working on this!
