The restaurant is cozy and has a nice atmosphere. However, the ramen was underwhelming and the broth lacked flavor. The poke also wasn't anything special, but seemed pretty fresh and was presented nicely. The service was also quick and easy as it was an order first and seat yourself situation.

I was so thrilled that a ramen place would be replacing Muto! I love me some ramen. That's about where the thrill ended. There are no prices on the online menu, but upon walking in and seeing it in person, I was a little surprised at how expensive it is. You order at the counter and they deliver the food, and then you bus your own table. An order of gyoza, a ramen "super spicy" and a mixed katsu donburi bowl with "umami chili oil" was $45, with $2 and $1.5 charges for the extras, respectively. The cashier was very nice, and the place is clean. The gyoza was pretty small and had the weird whiff of plastic. The ramen broth was okay, but lacked depth. The "super spicy' was just extra red chili flakes. The bowl was fine... Literally just fine. Neither upcharge was worth it. Portions were enough for lunch, but it was all just so basic that I didn't even finish mine. Maybe they're working kinks out, but if I want stateside ramen, I prefer elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this place since it seemed like it had recently opened. We went close to when they opened for dinner time and got a seat pretty fast. We had both ordered the tonkotsu ramen and overall it was a decent bowl of ramen. The noodles were chewy and bouncy, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the chashu had the right amount of smokiness. The only thing for me was that the broth was too salty, but luckily they had a self-serve water station. As for the flow of the restaurant: you come in, order on the kiosk at the front, take a number if you're dining in, then sit anywhere you please. At first we didn't realize what to do but there is signage at the front indicating what to do. Despite the restaurant being self serve the person working at the front was very kind and attentive throughout our meal, constantly checking on if we needed anything.

Stopped for lunch on a whim. Pros, quick service, good food quality and prep, presentation is nice. Had Shoyu bowl and tempura shrimp on the side. Very generous portions. Clean nice place. Cold water to drink if you don't want to order drinks. I'll be back.

Decided to try my first ramen in Bellingham at Ramen and Bowl. They have an interesting set up for a sit down restaurant. They have you order at the register, self serve yourself water, and self seat. I've had this at other restaurants before but this just felt a little impersonal at this nice of a looking restaurant. We decided to get the tonkatsu ramen and chicken teriyaki. I wasn't too impressed with the flavor. I'm not sure I'll return again. What I do appreciate about this restaurant is the effort on presentation. The food came out looking beautiful and the whole restaurant in general is fun to be in.

Loved this place! It looked like it just opened. Pros: The meat in the ramen and my husbands dish was excellent. The flavors were great! Everything we had was tasty The place was clean Cons: They were busy so there wasn't enough seating The food was slow to get out, and it seemed like the staff was overwhelmed (but they were still friendly.)

We've been super excited that a new ramen spot was popping up in town and while I don't prefer ramen as my choice for noodle soup, I do love a rice bowl and small plates. The service style is a little different - order at the counter, seat yourself, server brings your food and you bus your own table - but that's not a bad thing, it can just be challenging to find a seat and there isn't too much of a waiting area. My favorites were the chashu bowl with "umami" chili oil and the mixed katsu bowl. The chashu was flavorful and tender, the chili oil had a good amount of sugar in it (which I love) and I love variety, so the mixed katsu was awesome for me. The ramen toppings were great, but the broth could be richer. Apps are pretty standard and not super exciting, but $3 draft beers are DEFINITELY a highlight.

After we sat down, we ordered 2 Shoyu, 1 spicy miso, and 1 Shrimp Tan Tan. Tan Tan: The broth for Tan Tan tasted clean and not greasy as it does not contain meat. It had a spicy kick to the broth which I loved. There were 4 shrimps that were perfectly cooked, not dry. Spicy Miso: the broth also had a kick to it. This broth was a bit thicker than Tan Tan's as the ramen contains meat. It wasn't greasy and salty. Shoyu: this broth is the thickest and heaviest. A bit greasy but not too greasy. All ramen weren't salty and were delicious even for non-ramen lover like myself. We will be back!

Nestled behind the main walking areas, you can follow the street signs to this restaurant. We arrived just before they opened for the evening from 4:30pm. It is not a large restaurant but we were early. Bright and cheerful interior with shelves of Japanese sweets and some souvenirs on the side. Our favorite and go-to is the tonkotsu which has the thicker pork bone broth. We have not visited for a year or so and the price has gone up while the volume seemed to have gone down. Nevertheless the taste was great and we were satisfied with the meal.

It was on the late side for lunch (past 1PM) so we were fortunate enough to be able to walk right in and get served quickly. The takoyaki wasn't the most octopus-stuffed I've ever had, but it was solid! My husband and I split the black sesame tonkotsu ramen and the yuzu shio ramen. Both were unique in their own ways; the black sesame flavor in that tonkotsu was super pronounced and it was a very hearty ramen. The yuzu shio was super light and very flavorful; the yuzu flavor was also super pronounced. Also love the amount of tender chashu slices they give you with each bowl. The lettuce in the yuzu shio bowl was not my favorite; I appreciate the thought of more fiber/something healthier but the soup is so hot that it cooks the leafy greens immediately and I don't love wilted lettuce in my ramen. But all the other toppings were great; bamboo shoots were super flavorful, nori was crunchy, and eggs were perfectly jammy. Great place to grab a bowl of ramen if that's what you're craving!

I ordered the "Red Hot" ramen, and I can't say the soup base is the most flavourful, mainly due to the spice ratio being slightly too much, but it's tasty nonetheless. If you live in Port Coquitlam, this place is worth a try. Long review: Ramen Bella recently opened up its second location in Port Coquitlam, and took over the Mexican gourmet that used to be there. This restaurant has got a great atmosphere, although it's quite quaint and still keeps the old tiling from the Mexican establishment, it fits it nicely although I can't say I feel like I'm sitting in an underground ramen shop in Shibuya. All staff followed COVID-19 procedures, wearing masks and practiced social distancing to the best of their abilities, they disinfected tables and chairs after people left and overall made the dining experience feel safe. We ordered, and our food came to us in less than five minutes, Igot the red hot ramen, and I gotta say it was pretty good. Usually spicy ramen ends up just being spicy and totally overpowering the broth flavour. I can't say the ratio was absolutely perfect, but it was a lot better than most other places. The portion size was great, but I'm not sure how I feel about bok choy and wonton crisps in ramen. The noodles tasted like good quality ramen noodles, but not home-made at the restaurant. This was quite minor but my soup didn't really come out to me piping hot, and more just hot in some spots and warm in others. I trust that it was a mistake considering my lady friends bowl was totally hot though. The gyoza we ordered with our meals was quite tasty. The pork and chives filling was what you'd expect for a restaurant like this, and the size of them was eatable in about two bites. These were super hot, so let them cool off for about a minute before you dig in! Overall if you live in the Tri-cities or Port Coquitlam, this is your best bet for ramen if you don't want to travel out to Vancouver. I think they should change the soup base to spicy ratio in the Red Hot bowl, to give it a little more flavour. Overall, this place has a lot of potential to be great, but for now, i give it a 3.5/5.

Seems odd for a casino but I don't run the show. We like to get away for a night during the week every month or so and we like the Silver Reef. The take-out policy at Panasia is perfect for us. We order and bring it all back to the room anyway. Their menu is limited but they have some good stuff. I order the Mongolian Beef and we share Sweet and Sour Chicken. Mama gets the Yakisoba and we add their fried rice as well. All that feeds us twice each because we take the leftovers home the next day. Appetizers are limited to egg rolls or bbq pork. I've had both and prefer the pork with the hot mustard. The egg rolls were a little soggy last time. The MB is excellent. The right amount of green onions and the sauce is flavorful. I wanted to mention the sweet and sour chicken. They do it right. It's not just breaded chicken with that sweet red stuff drizzled on it. It's more like I remember from growing up in the SF Bay Area. The sauce was still red but it had red and green bell peppers in it with onion and pineapple chunks. Perfect. The Yakisoba is also excellent. Portions are good size and packed in plastic covered dishes. Prices are decent. At my local Chinese place in Stanwood I pay over $17 for less Mongolian Beef. Here it was less than $12 for more and it's better. When we order at our local place the bill can get over $80 fast for the same amount of food or less. Sorry there are no photos this time around. I recommend Panasia for the food alone. Being take-out only in a casino operation isn't the best concept but maybe they will open up their sit-down dining at some point. I'm not dropping a star because of the lack of dining in.
