Beautiful and delicious sushi! Lovely ambiance & the owner is so friendly and welcoming.

Can't recall name of dish but it was chicken with vegetables and noodles; side of rice & salad to complement.

Fast service; friendly staff. Too bad they were out of Sapporo beer; it's kinda like when a Mexican restaurant is out of Coronas but I'm no restauranteur!

Very nice staff. Great salmon sashimi. My roll was good. I got the Philly roll fried. Only issue is I asked for raw salmon and they forgot. Still ate it though! The best part was the ambiance. It was such a fun place with lights and signs and I guess they have live music other nights. Huge alcohol and wine selection which was very cool. There are fun things all over if you look around. I'd love to come back in the evening sometime!

Food was great. My 4/2 year old grands loved it. Service was great. We live in Blaine and absolutely love it. Ambiance w wonderful as well. Kids loved the robot. Definitely a must come and try. We'll be back.

We came during the soft opening on Valentines Day and it was very busy. They are still figuring stuff out, but they did a great job overall. Food was delicious, and so was the ambiance ! The owner came by and checked in on very table to make sure everyone was satisfied. The live piano music player is fantastic! Looking forward to coming by for their weekend jazz nights.

So, I had monster sushi, but I didn't actually have a monster sushi. My big disappointment with monster sushi is that there weren't any monsters. There was a cool robot that brought our food though, but it's not robot sushi, it's monster sushi. We had yakisoba and the consensus is that it was delicious. We'll give it two thumbs up. We had the bibimbap which was pretty fabulous. Had the spider roll which was fantastic. You'll notice that there's also a picture of a Chihuahua, which is weird - maybe for a Mexican restaurant that would be solid, but I would expect maybe like a cat for a Japanese restaurant - a white one waving at me. Anyways, a roving Chihuahua popped up on our booth and hung out with us for a little bit. Super super sanitary. I'm sure. But I would recommend Tokyo monster sushi, just don't expect to find a monster.

Teriyaki secret - 7. Chicken Yakisoba (comes with salad and steamed rice)

We've driven past Teriyaki Secret for a year. It's tucked into a strip mall near the IGA and the…read moreUPS Store, and honestly, we rarely noticed anyone going in. Now we know why. It's a bit of a secret because most of the business seems to be takeout, and the magic is happening in the kitchen, not the dining area. We stopped in during the lunch rush, and it was busy and energetic. If you're in a big hurry or prefer quiet, off-peak hours might be better. But the noise comes from a hardworking kitchen turning out food that's clearly made with care. The husband-and-wife owners know exactly what they're doing. We ordered the chicken yakisoba (non-spicy), which came with steamed rice and a side salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was flavorful and satisfying even without any heat. There are just a few tables up front since most of the space is dedicated to cooking. The owners were kind, attentive, and checked in on us several times despite how busy they were. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. We're glad we finally discovered this place. Teriyaki Secret earns its name not because it's hard to find, but because it's easy to overlook something this good.

Costumer service seriously lacking. Asked how many ounces of beef in the Beef Terriyaki bowl; the…read moreresponse, "we no want to tell it's a secret" then promptly changed to "we no cheap people our portions are good size" all with an attitude. I'm sorry but if that the first place your mind goes to... like mama Doris likes to say "only hurt dogs holler". I wanted to know because I am tracking my macros. Food was ok, nothing to rave about relatively healthy, be aware ask the wrong question and your dish will be served with a side of attitude.

We were looking for a place OTW home from the airport, we wanted sushi, and we wanted to be able to…read morepark ok. MaguroGuy had decent reviews and was not too far off the highway, so we decided to detour there. We overordered (as you can see from photos) but since we're used to things being tiny and unsatisfying, we had no idea what we were getting into. The lunch special is great, and my companion didn't need the extra rolls with it, though they were really tasty. I ordered a smattering of rolls, and was quite full. The fish is good, there are slightly heavier on rice than other places, but at least there was a good variety to choose from. We opted to skip the sashimi platter as it was $80, way higher than anywhere else we normally go. The parking is fine, it's in a lot, and it was daytime but had a decent number of lights. Service was quite friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy, despite it being a decent size. There are a hundred other sushi places in the area to try, but MaguroGuy was a solid experience and I would go back.

This used to be a great restaurant. But the owner sold it (quite some time ago) and the new owners…read morewent from top quality fish to discount save-on fish. The hamachi nigiri was large, with a strange yellow/orange coloring (I have had hamachi hundreds of times and never ever seen it look like this). The texture was mushy, the flavor unlike any hamachi I have had before - a tough one. The salmon oshi was cold and the salmon tasted fishy/old (again, have had this many many places, so it isn't like I am judging against the first time trying oshi). Lastly, the old owner used to have a Banana Crunch Roll that was the bomb. Why this owner didn't learn how to make it and keep it on the menu is a head scratcher. On a positive note, the size of the fish portions were generous.
