Always love coming here and making the drive down for this poke spot!! My family's favorite poke spot always served fresh. I love the ginger shoyu and even their mini size serves a lot! Great service too!!

Picked up two large bowls to go. The hamachi was my favorite (tuna was great too). Everything was super high quality and fresh made. The large bowl was enough food for me for two meals. Great hole in the wall spot, wish it was closer so I could come here regularly!

Food. Mochi Butter Bar and Musubi were 5 stars all the way. Also tried the the ginger sesame salmon poke. Something was a bit off about it so I threw it out after 2 bites. Couldn't quite place it. Location. Great location in Fairhaven. Price. Pretty normal for the poke and the area. Atmosphere. Not a ton to speak off. Better suited for take out. Service. Fantastic every time there.

Get here early- they sell out towards the end of the day! This place is known for their fresh poke and great sides. Whether you are looking for a traditional Limu Kukui, or Habenero poke if you're feeling something spicy, their flavor combinations are on point. $11 for a mini; which comes with one protein, rice/salad plus a side. The mini was more than substantial enough for me! I ordered the limu kukui with half salad/half rice, toasted sesame dressing and an ocean salad as a side. They had already sold out of the Ginger Shoyu Salmon and a few others by the time I arrived, so I definitely need to go back for more!

    Sockeye salmon, hamachi, and tofu

Visited Fairhaven Poke after hearing about it so decided to try it! Ordered the large poke, split, with rice. I chose the sockeye salmon, Korean marinated hamachi, and the tofu as the side. The tofu was surprisingly my favorite out of the three choices, that marinate was good! The hamachi tasted a bit frozen, or atleast it was very cold, and the sockeye salmon was alright. This is probably the first time I had sockeye salmon in poke so it was a bit unusual to me. The salmon was a lot tougher than Atlantic salmon and not as fatty so I didn't enjoy it as much. Overall, the poke was good, I wish the fish had a bit more seasoning to them but it tasted refreshing!

Expensive but filling! We stopped here because of the amazing reviews. We had regular poke bowls, one with ika, spicy tuna, and cucumber--the other with ginger ahi tuna, salmon, and a sea weed salad. Also a spam musubis. Spice level was stop on, amazing . Service level was top notch. the ordering is different, you pick bow size mini or regular then you get options of two proteins (purple) and one side (blue). Then price is based on weight. Server was happy to explain how it worked and what everything was. Freshness, this is always a worry at a new sea food place. Everything from tuna-Ika was soft and fresh nothing chewy. Spam musubis- was the thing I both wanted to try the most and least . It was recommended by the server who was having one for lunch herself. It was the perfect level of salt and spice. At $3.50 it would make a great quick cheap protein boost. Would order again. We shared a Shaka mango hibiscus ice tea. Good level of sweetness. Over all everything was $40+tip. Would recommend this place and plan to come here again. Again big call out to the server on 6/13/21 she was very helpful with new customers.

Regular bowl: Comes with 2 proteins and a side

The tastiest poke you will ever have that is certain to bring a smile to your face. All the flavors of ahi were delicious and the portions were more than enough to keep you full. A unique and upright display also creates a super nice atmosphere that will keep you coming back for more!

Fish and chips were satisfying but seemed overpriced for the food you get. Nice view in the dining area.

I love this restaurant! Best poke in town! I can tell they make good food just by how clean their kitchen is.

Sit there for a while at lunchtime or just around dinner time one day l, watch who's coming in and you'll get it. This is Blue Collar food. You'll see the construction workers, the lawn care guys...and later in the day, the Seniors and families. What they come for, what I come for, is primarily the utility Chinese. Heaping, large portions of reasonably tasty, carbohydrates, salt, sugar, fat, and a surprisingly large amount of proteins... all at a very reasonable price... or as reasonable as you'll probably find these days. I venture a guess that a lot of people cannot finish a two item combo with the chow mein. It is a lot of high calorie density food. And, it's served by consistently friendly folk behind the counter. No the food isn't gourmet quality, but there's not a lot of places that serve this many calories where you are always treated very well by a smiling guy behind the counter. So, if you're seriously hungry, or your kids are hungry, or you want a large amount of calories that will probably last you at least two meals then this is almost certainly going to hit the spot.

They are new, and they are likely still ironing out kinks...take this with a grain of salt. The food truck takes a little while, and we didn't get any food till around 4:30. They're new, ok, sure. I haven't had Spam Musubi since I was in Hilo in 2017. The rice was hard and tasted like it was undercooked, and it was cold. The spam was THIN and there wasn't a lot of flavor. However, the sauce they served it with was tasty. Could use more spice, but pretty good. We got the LocoMoco and the Chicken Katsu. It is NOT your typical Japanese or Filipino style katsu, it's a little overfried, but at least the rice was better. The LocoMoco is something you'd find for Hawaiian breakfast - egg, marinated beef patty, rice, gravy. It was a fairly chilly evening so I would assume that's why it was a bit cold, but otherwise it's ok. Whatever you order from them, be patient. Ask for the hot water sauce, and give them a berak since they're new. I look forward to trying them again this summer, so that I can write a proper review once they have it all figured out!

FOOD There are a variety of options (and toppings - yikes!!) and in recent months, they have been trying to expand their menu to include hot items often seen in Hawaii. I typically only visit Ono Poke for the poke bowl itself and can report this location: - Has the same decent quality fish. - Still is obligated to give you way too many toppings (but to each their own). - Can customize your order (e.g. hapa rice, furikake on top, etc.). - Offers a portion size that is decent for the price in town. - (In fact, compared to other locations, they are less stingy here :) ) As usual, I'm all about the straight-up ahi, but some may like the yuzu-flavoured ahi (seen in the other pic). === 3.
