I got take out from Just Poke and this time tried their Açaí bowl, the OG bowl with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc. And it was soooo yummy! We ordered through doordash and it arrived still nice and cool (perfect for a cozy evening)

Easily my favorite chain restaurant in Bellingham. Everything is always fresh-tasting and delicious, the bowls are filling and hit the spot every time. Perfect for a fresh summer meal.

Quick, enjoyable food allowing my wife to get mild while I get spicy add-Ins. Lots of choices with friendly staff. Usually it's very quiet inside even with multiple tables occupied. We mostly dine in but we have taken food to go--either way we have plenty to eat. Can't go wrong with poke.

Super flavorful and satisfying, especially if you're really hungry or want something to share. Sit there for a while at lunchtime or just around dinner time one day l, watch who's coming in and you'll get it. This is Blue Collar food. You'll see the construction workers, the lawn care guys...and later in the day, the Seniors and families. What they come for, what I come for, is primarily the utility Chinese. Heaping, large portions of reasonably tasty, carbohydrates, salt, sugar, fat, and a surprisingly large amount of proteins... all at a very reasonable price... or as reasonable as you'll probably find these days. I venture a guess that a lot of people cannot finish a two item combo with the chow mein. It is a lot of high calorie density food. And, it's served by consistently friendly folk behind the counter. No the food isn't gourmet quality, but there's not a lot of places that serve this many calories where you are always treated very well by a smiling guy behind the counter. So, if you're seriously hungry, or your kids are hungry, or you want a large amount of calories that will probably last you at least two meals then this is almost certainly going to hit the spot.

I love Poke Oasis. Very sweet workers. Where would we be without our Burlington Oasis!…read more My enthusiastic friend expresses it best and fully. Here's her take... "Driving through rural neighborhoods of Washington can be daunting without a sense of time, space, and phone service. Thick, limitless evergreen forests occluding the beacon from the highest of cell towers, miles and many rows farmland, and the occasional $6/gallon gas station. The eyes sore quickly at the sight of an infinite road marked with faded paint and tunneled by lush, beautiful greenery, a mirage practically teasing your senses with a taste of something familiar. But if you're lucky, you just might stumble across an oasis. The Poke Oasis, in fact. Your eyes have not deceived you, and you did indeed reach that shimmering pool of life waiting for you in none other than Burlington, WA. If I could go back and relive the moment they asked me "what can I get you?" and prepared the most exhilarating, invigorating, electrifying plate of sustenance that may have ever tickled my tastebuds. I'd sell my left kidney for that... Anyways. For you movie lovers out there, especially you little rascals who can't resist a bite of the forbidden fruit, who walk on the edge of desire and disaster...this bowl has just the thrill you seek. If your will is strong, your stomach stronger, and you like a little danger, you just might make it into the theater with your poke. I, for one, relished my delightful bowl of poke whilst singing along to Hadestown, furiously devouring each bite and unabashedly reciting every bit of dialogue until the angry Karen two rows in front of me gave me the "look." She doesn't get it. But I know you will. Anyone who dares walk through those doors must be prepared to have their life altered, their heart changed, their soul transcended. And if you have made it this far...I, too, dare you to take that leap of faith. But who am I to tell you what to do? I'm just your friendly neighborhood Poke Oasis regular." A great place to spend your free time when you are not making absurd reviews on yelp!

They are new, and they are likely still ironing out kinks...take this with a grain of salt. The food truck takes a little while, and we didn't get any food till around 4:30. They're new, ok, sure. I haven't had Spam Musubi since I was in Hilo in 2017. The rice was hard and tasted like it was undercooked, and it was cold. The spam was THIN and there wasn't a lot of flavor. However, the sauce they served it with was tasty. Could use more spice, but pretty good. We got the LocoMoco and the Chicken Katsu. It is NOT your typical Japanese or Filipino style katsu, it's a little overfried, but at least the rice was better. The LocoMoco is something you'd find for Hawaiian breakfast - egg, marinated beef patty, rice, gravy. It was a fairly chilly evening so I would assume that's why it was a bit cold, but otherwise it's ok. Whatever you order from them, be patient. Ask for the hot water sauce, and give them a berak since they're new. I look forward to trying them again this summer, so that I can write a proper review once they have it all figured out!

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE Based on single takeout order around…read moredinner time: solid choice - it's like the other locations in town and decent (even if still not quite like it is back home in Hawaii :) === 2. FOOD There are a variety of options (and toppings - yikes!!) and in recent months, they have been trying to expand their menu to include hot items often seen in Hawaii. I typically only visit Ono Poke for the poke bowl itself and can report this location: - Has the same decent quality fish. - Still is obligated to give you way too many toppings (but to each their own). - Can customize your order (e.g. hapa rice, furikake on top, etc.). - Offers a portion size that is decent for the price in town. - (In fact, compared to other locations, they are less stingy here :) ) As usual, I'm all about the straight-up ahi, but some may like the yuzu-flavoured ahi (seen in the other pic). === 3. SERVICE Counter service for me - and it's great, friendly, and patient. === 4. ENVIRONMENT You could sit in and eat; the place has a darker motif, but is tucked away form the hustle and bustle of Uptown - but your group might be best to be 8 or less in number if you're wanting to sit together. Wheelchairs and baby strollers have no issue here. Parking is plentiful downstairs - park closer to the Best Buy side of the structure for closer access.
