Wow, this little place does not disappoint! I'm so glad we gave them a try. First the ordering process is very easy and simple. Their menu is really easy to read and understand and they are very friendly and quick. They give you a buzzer you can take with you and go find somewhere to sit which is great. We decided to try the rice noodle soup with beef, potstickers and donuts. The soup was amazing. So much flavor and packed with lots of noodles and beef. You get quite a bit for what you pay for. The potstickers also had lots of flavor and was the perfect texture with just the right amount of crisp. The donuts, oh wow. These are amazing! I would come back just for these alone! They were served hot and drizzled with a perfect amount of sweetened condensed milk, they were so good. Our food came out quick and hot and for how much food you get and the quality of food you get it's definitely worth it. We will be back! read more

We stopped by Dumpling Girls on a rainy, windy Saturday night while visiting Bellingham, and I'm so glad we did. The setup includes a couple of food trucks and a covered beer garden with seating. We decided to grab our food to go since the weather wasn't cooperating, but everything still tasted amazing back at our hotel. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, vegetarian fried egg rolls, chicken dumplings, pork Chinese buns, and chicken rice noodle soup. Every dish was flavorful and fresh. The soup in particular had a rich, comforting broth with tender chicken, noodles, and cabbage. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and service was fast. The woman working the truck was friendly and welcoming, even with the wind and rain coming down. We will definitely be back next time we are in Bellingham. If the weather is better, we will stay and eat in the beer garden. This place is a great find. read more

The woman taking my order was very pleasant, and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. We shared a large order of vegetarian dumplings, an order of vegetarian buns, and a tofu noodle soup. The dumplings were great, but the buns were even better (both with spicy sauce we chose). The noodle soup was so-so. Couldn't stay away, so came back again several days later. That time I ate mostly just the buns, but I had a few dumplings, too, because my husband wanted to eat both again. They really were that good (so fresh!). There was a pricing discrepancy between the two menus (one showed $8 for the crab ragnoons, and the other showed $9), but it's safe to assume the higher price is accurate. Dumpling Girls just gave me the best donuts I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure how much more I can add, but these donuts genuinely sent me into a state of shock and awe. Served fresh out of the fryer piping hot with a condensed milk glaze, these sweet treats did not disappoint. 3 for $6 is an absolute steal. The crab Rangoon was also incredible--it tasted like they used real crab rather than just imitation crab. The wonton wrapper was crispy and chewy, and the sweet chili sauce was also bang on. 5 for $8 was also not a bad deal. Haaahhh, wow I like these buns more than the ones I got at a place called Mama's Dough not long ago. Mama's Dough did have amazing dough, really great consistently. However, I ultimately found it to be a tad bland for my taste. These are more thoroughly pan fried. Also, the sauce and mix of veggie inside helps drive the flavor. Yum! And it came out of a food truck. The dumplings are good too, but not quite as good as the buns. I found the flour on these to be a bit too chewy. The lamb skewers are quite nostalgic. They are quite soft, with a bit of fat, and cumin. The flavor is moving in the right direction for Chinese lamb skewers, but maybe it could go farther? The umami is not quite strong enough. Perhaps they wanted to hold back a bit for their American customer base? Unexpectedly, this tofu noodle soup my mom ordered was arguably the best item. The broth is really flavor packed while still being drinkable. The noodle is surprisingly firm and the tofu is deliciously meaty. It's not perfect, but......this little truck is so cute that I want to give it five stars. read more

I had mix feelings about this place. I liked the location of this place because it is right next to a beer shop and there is plenty of lovely outdoor seating. The ambiance is really nice. The food was okay. We got the pork dumplings, beef dumplings, and pork pan fried baos, wantons with soup, and a chicken noodle soup. I would say the beef dumplings were probably the best. However, the dumplings were on the smaller side in terms of filling. It was more dough. The pan fried baos didn't taste like the traditional ones you have where the filling was more mixed with some vegetables. Usually filling for this dish is pork and just some green onions but the filler was less hearty. The chicken noodle soup was overly salty and the noodles were like the pho noodles. We spent the weekend up in Bellingham and happy we found this place! It's an unassuming food truck situated in a corner lot next to a beer garden and A Que Tacos food truck. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. We ordered the BBQ pork buns, chicken & beef dumplings, chicken rice noodle soup, crispy wontons, and donuts (all under $40). The soup is a huge portion, with plenty of chicken & scallions. Can definitely split the soup with another person. Everything was tasty, and liked how the cream cheese was not too overwhelming in the wontons. Definitely get the donuts for a treat. 3 donuts for $3 - warm goodness with condensed milk to dip in! We love coming to Goods for their beer selection. That's only made better by the foods trucks on-site and Dumpling Girls is always a MUST. The veggie spring rolls, pork buns and lamb/mutton skewers are my favorites, but the noodle and wonton soups are also great! The pork buns are juicy and tender, the lamb skewers have a great cumin flavor with roasted oyster mushrooms and you really can't go wrong with the crispt veggie spring rolls. We got orders of: Dumplings - chicken and beef Chinese Buns Crab Rangoon Spicy Beef Noodles Spicy Lamb Spring rolls First off, everything was delicious, served piping hot and remarkably quick considering how much we ordered, but for a place called Dumpling Girls, I was expecting the dumplings to be next level top notch the best, and they were just good. A friend pointed out that these are similar to gyoza, and I'd agree. Were I to go back, I'd focus more on the other dishes. Pleasant surprise was the beef noodles - lots of meat and the noodles were perfectly done, and the spiciness was juuuuust right. The thing that this place needs to sell itself on (and the thing that you need to experience here) is the Chinese buns. These were incredible! We nearly came back for more of these but every time we wanted them they were closed. I had a meeting scheduled for after work at Good's -- somewhere is never visited. It was dinnertime and since I was going to enjoy a pint of cider, I figured I'd better eat. The Dumpling Girls truck was right there, and since I'm crazy for Asian cuisine of all kinds, I thought I'd check them out. After studying the menu, I opted for rice noodles with chicken. I had no idea what to expect, so I'll admit to having low expectations... so many times I've been served mediocre noodles at other places, so I had no real reason to expect otherwise here. The price was right, though, so I was good with it ieven if they were lackluster. When my number was called, my first surprise was the size of the container. It was much larger than I had expected and it was piping hot. I accepted the offered chopsticks and found a table. I was immediately pleased when I took off the lid! The contents included much more chicken and veggies than I expected and the aroma was divine! The noodle texture was perfect and the broth contained the perfect amount of spice. I asked for the spicy version after inquiring about the heat level of the spice and was told that it wasn't all that spicy and I found that to be true. It was at a level that gave it a little bit of a kick but doesn't overtake flavor. Turns out it was enough for two full meals thanks to the generous portions of veggies and protein accompanying the noodles. I ate the rest of the noodles the next morning for breakfast. It may have been even better that morning than the night before, but that may have just been because I was really looking forward to having them for breakfast. I am not easily impressed when it comes to noodles-- I got really spoiled during the months I spent traveling throughout Asia -- but these really did impress me. Simple, flavorful, full of veggies and protein with perfectly-textured noodles at a very reasonable price... what could be better? Well this happened to me on a recent sunny afternoon, when I meandered over to Goods Produce & Beer Garden for a happy hour pint and wasn't sure what I was going go eat since the other food truck on premises only takes cash. I saw Dumpling Girls and was like - what?!?!? I mean, hey, it's pretty much my job as a professional foodie to know when a new establishment-on-wheels has opened around here! Turns out, Dumpling Girls has been open for 3 months. Hello long, cold winter. I'm glad you're over so I can find these new hidden gems. I sauntered up to the window and found myself indecisive. Should I try their signature, handmade dumplings? But oh, those noodles looked good too. And since I'm able to convince myself of pretty much anything (especially where noodles are concerned), I opted for both: the chicken dumplings and the chicken noodles. While my food was being prepped, I hopped into Goods to order my pint, and by the time I was back outside to find a table my food was ready. I jumped right into those dumplings, which were served with a deliciously savory and spicy sauce (you can also order non-spicy). The dough was chewy and delicious - they definitely had that hand-made quality. And they were FULL of delicious chicken goodness. 5 stars for the dumplings! I was getting a little full, so I figured I'd save the noodles for later. I had to have one bite, though, just to try them. Again, these were phenomenal. Thick, chewy, and rich, with TONS of tasty chicken tossed within. And they were served in a wonderful house-made sauce that most definitely was made with love. 5 stars for the noodles, too! (And such a hearty portion - I ended up eating them later for dinner as well.) What was over-the-top about this spot, though, was the very friendly service and the sweet owner who was excited to talk about her business. I could tell she's passionate about her truck. Came here on a Saturday night. It was really busy and the wait was about 30 min for our food. Seating is outdoors only and there's a brewery next door that you can grab drinks from and sit in the same area. Dog friendly and lots of seating and space.
