    Vegetarian dumplings
    Angela L.

The woman taking my order was very pleasant, and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. We shared a large order of vegetarian dumplings, an order of vegetarian buns, and a tofu noodle soup. The dumplings were great, but the buns were even better (both with spicy sauce we chose). The noodle soup was so-so. Couldn't stay away, so came back again several days later. That time I ate mostly just the buns, but I had a few dumplings, too, because my husband wanted to eat both again. They really were that good (so fresh!). There was a pricing discrepancy between the two menus (one showed $8 for the crab ragnoons, and the other showed $9), but it's safe to assume the higher price is accurate. Also, as of the time I was there, the per-dumpling price was cheaper for the 6-piece order ($8) than the 10-piece ($14).

I was so impressed with the food here! We stopped for a quick lunch and were able to sit outside on the covered patio (tons of outdoor seating available). The flavors and texture of the chinese buns are phenomenal! Highly recommend

Donuts: best I've ever had honestly
    Allison Y.

Dumpling Girls just gave me the best donuts I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure how much more I can add, but these donuts genuinely sent me into a state of shock and awe. Served fresh out of the fryer piping hot with a condensed milk glaze, these sweet treats did not disappoint. 3 for $6 is an absolute steal. The crab Rangoon was also incredible--it tasted like they used real crab rather than just imitation crab. The wonton wrapper was crispy and chewy, and the sweet chili sauce was also bang on. 5 for $8 was also not a bad deal. I will be driving down from Vancouver again next weekend to have this again... and probably the weekend after that.

Haaahhh, wow I like these buns more than the ones I got at a place called Mama's Dough not long ago. Mama's Dough did have amazing dough, really great consistently. However, I ultimately found it to be a tad bland for my taste. These are more thoroughly pan fried. Also, the sauce and mix of veggie inside helps drive the flavor. Yum! And it came out of a food truck. The dumplings are good too, but not quite as good as the buns. I found the flour on these to be a bit too chewy. The lamb skewers are quite nostalgic. They are quite soft, with a bit of fat, and cumin. The flavor is moving in the right direction for Chinese lamb skewers, but maybe it could go farther? The umami is not quite strong enough. Perhaps they wanted to hold back a bit for their American customer base? Unexpectedly, this tofu noodle soup my mom ordered was arguably the best item. The broth is really flavor packed while still being drinkable. The noodle is surprisingly firm and the tofu is deliciously meaty. It's not perfect, but......this little truck is so cute that I want to give it five stars.

This place is a local gem! Not only are the dumplings delicious but everything else is as well! Get get get the wonton soup or noodle soup. Superb broth. Get it spicy. It's not very spicy but very flavorful. And if that's not enough they have fresh doughnuts!! Yep you read that right. Made to order in a condensed milk topping. So good. I went here two days in a row!

We spent the weekend up in Bellingham and happy we found this place! It's an unassuming food truck situated in a corner lot next to a beer garden and A Que Tacos food truck. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. We ordered the BBQ pork buns, chicken & beef dumplings, chicken rice noodle soup, crispy wontons, and donuts (all under $40). The soup is a huge portion, with plenty of chicken & scallions. Can definitely split the soup with another person. Everything was tasty, and liked how the cream cheese was not too overwhelming in the wontons. Definitely get the donuts for a treat. 3 donuts for $3 - warm goodness with condensed milk to dip in! They add an extra dumpling if you pay in cash.

I gave it one more bite, and even the grilled onions were terribly flavored, how is that possible? Soggy bun, oversalted burger, super dry on the edges, awful flavor. We were visiting the area temporarily so we wanted to make sure we stopped by before we left. Our one time visiting has turned into us coming back multiple times, this place is delicious!! We tried the Mac Miller burger which is a burger topped with jalapeño aioli and creamy mac and cheese. You can modify if you'd like a single patty, double (how it comes), or triple. We also got a side of fries. The burger is amazing!! Best burger we have ever had! The crispiest patty and so moist and the mac and cheese is definitely creamy just like it says. We are obsessed! The fries are large enough you can share. We dream about this place now that we are no longer in the area but next time we are we are definitely coming back!

The service is always amazing! I honestly in the many years I've been there I've only had one waitress that wasn't really nice. She wasn't mean, and she was attentive but she hardly smiled ... but the catch was, she was probably 7 months pregnant at the time! So I had to give her a pass for that haha!

Inside the truck the team was hard at work dropping fryers and flipping burgers so we didn't have to wait long to place our order. First off, the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich. Breaded chicken, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, ranch, and of course bacon all placed elegantly between two large golden buns. Very delicious and with Swiss cheese was a unique choice that I appreciated. Next we shared the Cowboy Burger... when I went to pick up our food I knew we had made a great choice. The server handed us a hefty beef burger that was stacked high with cheese, bacon, tomato, pickles and onions rings, smothered in bbq sauce with a crispy onion ring on top to give this burger the golden crown it deserves. Be warned this burger stood almost 8 inches tall. A couple of criticisms I had were that it was difficult to enjoy these delicious burgers on a small food container. I would definitely like to see this food in a brick and mortar restaurant one day so I can properly enjoy these monster burgers. Secondly the fries were very greasy. I know some people may enjoy them but they are not my favorite. In conclusion this was a great food truck and I will definitely have to try some more items on their menu next time!

What a great outdoor eating experience, in a fun, DIY environment, with great care taken in food,…read moredrink, service, AND ambiance (beautiful landscaping provided by a renowned local nursery, and fun music ranging from funky R&B to alt and punk) served up from a clean, environmentally friendly (almost everything you eat from is compostable or reusable) shipping container in a bootstrap amusement park. (Whew, that was a long sentence!) Really one of the best burgers I've had in some time. A real old-school burger, that doesn't try to wow you with how huge or exotic it is - seriously, when they handed it to me in the brown paper wrap, I was a little miffed; I mean, $10 (I got the "R&R", the bacon cheeseburger variation) for something the size of a baseball? I thought, "This better be awesome..." It was. Juicy, perfectly cooked grass-fed beef, smash-burger style: thin, crispy at the edges but still pink in the center...topped with smokey bacon just the right size for the patty, gooey cheese, and lovely sauces that just soaked into the pillowy brioche-style bun enough that they only oozed out when I took a bite. It wasn't just good, it was masterful! Washed down with the local house IPA...my friend, I'm telling ya... In disbelief, I went back and ordered their signature burger. Another warm baseball was placed in my hand, wrapped in brown paper, but I eyed this one in anticipation rather than suspicion...would it be as good? Was the first perfect burger just a fluke? Oh, man. You gotta be kidding me. Another picture-perfect burger, this one with still-crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion and a lovely, mildly sweet and tangy sauce that married all the beefy, gooey cheese goodness together and had me reaching for napkin after napkin. I haven't had a burger so good it made me forget my beer in maybe 20 years. Shazam. What beer? Get here and get some of this before someone screws it up. I'm serious. Oh, did I mention they have slushy drinks? And there's mini golf next door? Yep. Premium burgers. Premium Bellingham. Highest recommendation.

This summer, not so enthused. Convinced my husband to try their chicken sandwich ($11) and I ordered the fish sandwich ($13). We were charged $29 & some change. (do the math, which is obviously not their strong suit - more on that later). I was with a group of friends and should have paid more attention the overcharge at the time. When we got our order and walked it over to the wine bar, I had a tasty fish sandwich but on a greasy bun (yuck) and my husband was served a hamburger, not the chicken he ordered. It was a 2 item order and if the ONLY job you have is to get our order correct, just do it. BTW, the burger was $1 less than the chicken so at this point, we were overcharged close to $6. When I went to complain, the line was 20 people long so I just let it go. Today, during the Noisy Waters Festival, we decided to give them another try and I've been hearing how good their tots are. Tots were tasty for sure but barely warm. It was happy hour so we were charged $3.28 instead of $4 (great deal!). I handed the young woman a $5 bill and 3 dimes, saying I didn't need the 2 pennies back. She looked at me, quite bewildered, paused a bit and gave me back my 3 dimes, saying "I don't think this is going to help." I mean, I did save $0.30 but really?!?! It's Basic math!
