Thai Long-An makes me rethink every other Thai review I've made. To where other Thai restaurants we eat at, have just a few of our favorite dishes,thatthey make well, none of them have every item we try as a "favorite." We only like certain dishes at certain places ....however, Thai Long-An, was exceptional in all dishes we tried, including the chicken satay! Which can be so rubbery at other places! This will definitely become our new favorite Thai restaurant. The service was a bit slow, but I'm giving them a pass on that, since we came in just before closing. The sever was friendly, and delivered us hot fresh Thai food! The coconut soup, was some of the best soup I've had in Phoenix. Another local gem we found today, 2 days of Thai food in a row. This place was very cozy and quiet, we ordered some appetizers like the shrimp fresh rol, the fried shrimp rolls and the chicken satay and 5 of us shared it and we all loved the appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the papaya salad, the pad-see-ew, stir fried cashew nut, Mussamun with beef curry and pa-naeng with chicken curry and we all shared and they were all great tasting, but my favorite was the pa- naeng with chicken. Service was ok, could have used more water but the one time that they brought water was it. Still I enjoyed the food, the place and the kindness of the staff. Tip: if you can't handle heat order your dish hotness to be at 1. They go from 1 to 5 with 1. Being mild and 5 being hot and I got 2 and it was a good kick of Heet in there. I am literally obsessed with Thai Long-An. I come here about once per week to get my usual order but I've had so many things off the menu. The lemon grass soup is incredible (I like to order it spicy with steamed tofu and get a side of rice). The coconut lemon grass soup is fantastic as well. My mom always gets the yellow curry- it's SOOO GOOD. The mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream is my favorite dessert. The staff here is so kind and my order always comes out super fast and made to perfection. I am definitely a foodie and have tried Thai food all over the world. One of the best Thai delivery options I've found in Phoenix thus far. The drunken noodles and yellow curry were both excellent.

A neat little Thai spot I landed in for International Supper Club, which you should totally join. Here are some things I liked: Service: There were more of us than expected. So many, in fact, our clique had taken up almost every seat! Although staff initially looked overwhelmed, they busted their butts and had everything ready in a reasonable amount of time. All of this a mere two hours before closing. Splendid! Menu: There are several dozen entrees, and they're all flexible. You can choose a red curry, for example, but then determine which protein you'd like. Some entrees give a choice between beef, chicken, pork, or tofu (they're hella veg friendly). Others expand these options into fish, shrimp, mussels, or even octopus! I have never seen so many ways to eat these in one place! Mathematically, there's like a zillion different things you should try, so keep coming back. Food: I went with the garlic beef, and enjoyed it very much. The beef had a great grilled flavor, like it was fresh from a barbecue. The minced garlic was plentiful, as were the sides. I thought it needed more spice, so I took advantage of the generous condiment selection, and know I'll really crank up the heat with something else next time. Also, get the Thai tea. Get it! Value: This is inexpensive AF. Even if the entree didn't blow my mind, the prices did. A good dinner and beverage for less than 15 bucks? Groovy. It's hard to find a deal like this around Melrose. My sister and I have been here twice and both times have been excellent all around. Seriously the best yellow curry I've had (and I've been too many Thai restaurants). This is a great Thai food restaurant if you are looking for a more authentic place I would say. I have been in Thailand and the food there is not overly spicy or salty. This place keeps that in mind. They do not over do the salt or the spices while still keeping the flavors alive with the scents of spices. I have never gotten a wrong order and they are the hardworking restaurant that you will find open the days everyone else would close. They also do not overdo it on the oil, so it is a pretty healthier option from other Thai food places around. Customer service is neat, they respect COVId 19 social distancing, have sanitizer available, and may benefit from "clean" pens so people do not te use the pens. The pad Thai, pad se ew and Tom kha coconut soup are great. Any curries. They also serve beer and other alcoholic beverages, I am not sure if they do this when take out lately, but before COVId I used to enjoy some beer too. They use gloves and from what I have been able to observe either from the window or the front, the kitchen is visible and very clean. That tells a lot of what to expect from tue food there. The parking lot is a small size and can get busy if a lot of people around/picking up food, however there is plenty of street parking if you don't mind walking some meters. I love spicy food but most places mess it up by just making it scorch your tastebuds spicy, but this place has it down it was spicy AND flavor full NOT hot!! Came here for dinner and just loved it! The place is pretty easy to find, there is parking and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. The staff was awesome and friendly. We ordered the tom kha with shrimp, eggplant with beef and pad thai. The soup was just . Creamy, spicy and sour all at the same time. The pad thai was also pretty good. Noodles were soft and chewy and the chicken was moist. The eggplant and beef was tasty but I wish there was more eggplant: feels like there was way more peppers than anything else. Last but not least: sticky rice with mango for dessert . Perfect sweet finishing touch to an awesome dinner. I will be back! We ordered chicken pad Thai for myself, green and red curry for each child and mixed veggie dish for my husband. Everyone really enjoyed their food except for me. My pad Thai was mushy and tasteless. I had everyone else taste it to make sure it wasn't just me since I had recently been sick. It was 100% all of us agreeing it was off. I have never had a bad meal here. I used to come here at least once a week because it is close to work but getting busier at work and Indian School can get bottlenecked during the lunch hour. This is popular for lunch, you can call ahead and have your order ready when you arrive if you are in a hurry. They have a lot of people order for take out. They have lunch specials but I get the entrees since I don't eat rice or egg rolls. The curries are excellent and another favorite is the Larb. I love trying out local spots and this place nailed it. The lady behind the counter was super kind and explained the menu to me. The food was phenomenal and I chose the vegetarian Thai pad with level 3 spice (there are five levels, five being the spiciest). The meal was 11 dollars and had about five-six servings to it, it took me all day to finish it and it was still delicious even after it was cold in a box. This place had pretty good Thai food, but boy have I been paying for it today. Not sure what that's about because normally I can handle it, but whatever. I wouldn't be scared to take a double shot of Pepto-Bismol and give it another go. I had a bowl of Tom Kha Gai (3 spicy) and beef massaman curry (3 spicy). Tom Kha flavor was delicious and it did not contain any superfluous BS like stupid tomatoes. The lemongrass flavor certainly shone, but It had a sweet side too, so avoid if that annoys you. Chicken was run of the mill flap style and the texture was pretty run of the mill. I was excited because I viewed their menu online and when I looked at what appeared to be massaman (my favorite) I thought I saw the chunk style beef that I prefer. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, run of the mill flappy beef here, but otherwise the curry flavor and thickness was very delicious. The aromatic herbs really dazzled here (bite me Jackson - it's true) As far as the ambience of the restaurant goes, it's a bit "lived in", but I'm not hating (I'm there to eat). Went with coworkers today for lunch. We had chicken pad Thai, pork pad Thai, and steak salad. The pad Thai were from lunch special and came with small soup and vegetable egg roll . Incredible flavors at this place. Ordered the House Pad Thai, (Spice level 4), Beef Salad (Spice level 3), Panang curry, and Thai Fried Rice. Overall, everything was full of flavor and so so good. Speaking as a spice lover and someone who is very tolerant of spices the spice level 4 on the House Pad Thai was quite spicy and I would definitely go down a couple levels if you can't handle the heat. Even with the intense spice, the flavors will shown through which, I think, is the marker of a good spicy dish. I kept going back for more even though it burned so good. Beef salad was also refreshing, flavorful and a perfect combo of cabbage and beef. Don't let the "salad" misnomer throw you off, this dish is mostly beef with a cabbage delivery system. My only wish is that they would use higher quality beef, I've had versions of this dish with better steaks and that extra juiciness really elevates the dish.
