I'm not sure what's happened, but some of our long-time favorite dishes aren't quit as tasty as they once were, and service has slipped a bit. For example, we ordered carry out last night. One of my wife's favorite dishes is Larb Gai. She likes it with no spice and we've ordered a dinner portion for years. When I ordered, I explained I wanted the dinner portion and no spice. The young lady who took my order repeated back just what i ordered. When I arrived to pick up, I noticed the cost of the Larb Gai was only $9.95; the price of the appetizer. I brought it to her attention, and she said they don't have a dinner size. I explained we've ordered that size many times with no problem. She insisted they only have the appetizer portion. I relented and ordered my wife a different dinner. When I got home, my wife discovered the Larb Gai was spicy, so she could not have eaten it anyway. I've had Pad See Ew many times, but even my meal was not quite like it once was. Pretty disappointing experience. read more

The chicken padthai, musaman curry, and thai dumplings were phenomenal. Everything my friends and family have tried has received a great review. There's a fairly large menu with multiple variations under each branch. It's a funky place with the typical new wave asian pacific cuisine vibe if you know what I mean. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the service is a little iffy. It's unclear when to go pay and they hardly ever come back to check in on your table. I ordered Garlic Pepper Green Beans and Carrots with chicken for take-out. Basically, it was a stir fry over chopped cabbage with a garlic-pepper sauce. It came out in the promised 10 minutes. The cooked garlic was excellent but there was little pepper taste and the chicken was a bit rubbery. The beans were very stiff and closer to uncooked than cooked. The side of steamed white rice was okay but if had been left off I would not have missed it. Service was friendly and competent. I've only ordered takeout so I can't speak to the vibe or ambiance of the place. While I love the spring rolls and curry potstickers (excellent flavor and texture), everything else I've tried from this location is nothing to write home about and is overpriced. In any dish I've tried made with chicken, I find the chicken to have a tough, chewy texture, and the prices for the dishes are way too high for what you get. Once I ordered medium spice pad thai, and it was literally noodles with 1" of green onion on top and spice flavor... for $18? No thank you. It barely had the traditional pad thai flavor bc all I could taste was heat/spice. I'm not quite sure why the ratings are so high for this place, but to each their own I guess. Save your money and order somewhere else... or maybe stick to the appetizers, which are about the only things worth a try. read more

Plaza location (neighboring Sprint to be exact) with real potential! Delicious Panang Shrimp Curry with tons of Bamboo Shoot and Green Pepper. Tasty however, even with indicating zero spice it was at least a level 1 on the heat spectrum. The menu is extensive Soups, Salads, Noodles, Curry, Rice) & dining room spacious, well kept, with traces of Thai decor throughout. Daily Specials offered are on display upon entry. I give 5 stars for their papaya salad. I have had many in my lifetime and it was very good. The Thai iced tea was a little too sweet. Hubby got red curry with chicken and I thought it was watered down and too sweet. The spicy noodle dish with pork was ok. The pad Thai and crab Rangoons were good... Our whole family absolutely loves Thai kitchen. My personal favorite is the Penang grouper. There is a good size portion of the fish, breaded and fried crispy. The sauce is absolutely marvelous. It has the tiniest bit of a kick, which should be tolerated by almost anyone, except those with super sensitive palates. The grandkids love the standby for all beginners... Pad Thai. The seven of us who attend this restaurant at least once a month have never been sorry with whatever we ordered. The service is good. It takes a few minutes to make Thai food and the building has just been re-decorated all in all. I give this restaurant five stars. read more

Awesomely delicious food! we had the chicken Pad Thai and chicken Kuha Noodle. We ordered both mild, as my daighter and I don't like super spicy. Mild was still spicy, but just the right amount. Much more, it would have been too much heat for us. The Pad Thai was so delicious! Perfect amount of sweet, spicy, and peanutty. The Kuha Noodles was yummy and mildly flavored. The chicken in both dishes was tender. Our server was super sweet and attentive to our needs. The ambiance was pleasant. We loved the decor. Each table had a small glass jar with a fresh flower. So cute! We highly recommend Thai Kitchen. My daughter has already returned for more Pad Thai and spring rolls. It's only been a week. Lol read more

I'm very confused with my order tonight. I just moved here from Buffalo, NY and was recommended this place. I ordered the pad see ew, but nothing about my dish resembled pad see ew. It consisted of regular egg noodles, instead of wide rice pad Thai noodles; and regular broccoli instead of the Chinese broccoli that is found in pad see ew. I felt like I was eating regular broccoli & chicken with pasta egg noodles in a soy sauce; or should I say I was eating exactly this. I was so confused I even looked this up online to see if this was an alternate "recipe" for pad see ew than I'm used to, and found nothing to indicate use of egg noodles or regular broccoli for this dish in the first 15 recipes I found. Also, ordered the egg rolls - which were filled with cream cheese only?? There were no vegetables present. Never in my life have I had a cream cheese egg roll. Is this a St. Charles/Louis thing? Again I'm so confused, and very disappointed. read more

Reading the reviews, I must've ordered on a off night. I ordered the Pad Thai Noodle Dinner w/Chicken. The price was a bit more than I've paid in other parts of the country, but not horribly so. My order was delivered fairly quick, and right to my hotel room. The portion size was good and had plenty of chicken and lots of crushed peanuts. Sadly, the noodles were dry-ish and BLAND. I love Pad Thai.... I did not love this Pad Thai! I'm sure this is a great place with other great dishes...just disappointed with my experience. read more

I dropped by to get a quick bowl of Tom Kah soup. Delicious! The soup had a perfect balance of ginger and coconut- my addiction!!! Also the restaurant is spotless, the staff is very polite and clean appearance and she went over some of the menu items with me for future visits. Will definitely be back. read more

Since the shelter at home period set in, we have had an opportunity to try a number of different restaurants that deliver in the O'Fallon, MO area, including Thai Kitchen. Although this one is well reviewed, our experience was not excellent. I ordered the crispy spring rolls and a noodle dish and spring rolls were average, to me, but the noodle dish didn't hit my yummy spot in anyway, shape or form. The noodles reminded me of spaghetti noodles and the flavor to me was mediocre. Overall, our experience was alright, but this one is not my thing. I mean no disrespect to the owners, cooks or other patrons who dig this place... we all have different tastes, likes and dislikes and this was a dislike for me (and not a do over). Peace. read more

I love there pad Thai with pork. They always get my modifications right and they number two spice level has the perfect amount of heat for me. It's not overly spicy but it has a small kick and you can still taste the other ingredients. My friend always gets a four and add chili for there chili sauce options they bring to the table. He is always sweating and nose running from the heat. He loves the burn. I can smell the spice from across the table. It's my favorite place to get pad Thai. read more
