The vibe and decor was really nothing. It is located in a strip mall. Now the service and the food.. very good! We were there for the first time on New Year's Eve and although very busy they were still working hard and served up a good time with delicious food!

I've been here twice, once to dine in and once for takeout. If you're not doing the hibachi, I recommend you just get take out. The ambiance isn't the best. But the food is really good, and the people who work there are very friendly!

OMG WHERE DO I BEGIN?!?? This was a beyond amazing experience and better than most Hibachi dinners I have experienced. I actually found it in Yelp, and as much as I eat in St. Charles I wasn't aware that this place even existed. So before coming I called to make a reservation in case they were crowded. They were very pleasant over the phone! Upon arrival, we were greeted twice and taken to our table. I was intrigued by some of the decor so we Tsion a couple pics first. I have to commend them on the cleanliness of the restaurant. Even walking in, it smelled extremely clean and yummy at the same time. Every staff member we interacted with was great! As far as the food, from appetizers to main course everything was great and too tied. They asked about allergies and such up front which I think is always great. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls were so crispy and the crab Rangoon had a hint of sweet. PERFECT. Everything else was seasoned to perfection. I HIGY RECOMMEND. DON'T WALK, RUN!!!

We visited Kasabi because we were craving sushi and ramen. My girlfriend ordered the ramen, which was perfectly cooked--the broth was rich and flavorful. I had a cucumber roll that was simple but well-prepared, along with another roll that was decent overall. Personally, I'm not a fan of cream cheese or mayo in sushi, so that roll wasn't to my taste, but that's more about preference than quality. The presentation of the food was very well done, and the service was excellent--attentive and friendly throughout. However, the environment could use some improvement. There were a few flies around, and the air inside felt muggy and a bit uncomfortable. A cleaner, more comfortable dining area would definitely enhance the experience.

Note we ate at table not the grill thing with the show which is usually fun. I did not care for the food (which kind of expensive).

Stopped by for a quick bite while I was in the area. They have sushi, hibachi and ramen. I was on a time crunch, so I just ordered sushi rolls. We got mango tango, tuna avocado, spicy scallop, and eel avocado. It was total under $40 for 4 rolls. I'd say price is fair, but quality wasn't there. Friendly and fast service.

I would like to preface this post by saying that I lived in Japan for over 3 years. I am very particular about and well versed in Japanese food. This place is located in the large strip mall on Mid Rivers. The space is minimalist with a few tables. There is a hibachi area that we did not experience this visit. Our server was just fantastic!! Helpful and knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered rangoon and spring rolls. They were your standard obligatory appetizers. They offer a variety of ramen options. We went with a more traditional style the ichiraku ramen. The broth was pretty good. Missing a little of the richness of traditional ramen. The toppings were your standard soft boiled egg, nori, bamboo, and fish cake. I was a little surprised to see corn in my bowl, but the Japanese put corn in lots of things so I went with it. The best part of the meal was the katsu style chicken. A thin chicken breast with crispy panko bread crumbs. The chicken was crisp and tender. I recommend ordering extra chicken. The large bowl goes a long way and we finished the chicken about halfway through. We really enjoyed this place and their ramen. While it wasn't as good as some of the ramen I had on my adventures in Japan, it still satisfied my craving. It's also a lot cheaper than a plane ticket!

The food we had was really good, it was a little small inside the restaurant since we opted to not eat at a hibachi grill. The hibachi grills pretty much have their own room. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet. Overall we had a great experience I just wish the dining room was a little more spacious since we had a baby in a stroller with us.

This is a very good hibachi spot. The service is top tier to the point they bring my nephew cookies to calm him down because the fire scares him. The chefs are great at entertaining, the chef even played ukulele singing "can't help falling in love with you". The hibachi is delicious, with great portions. The ramen was good as well and the server even gave me extra broth after the meal for leftovers. I will be coming again and this might be the best local hibachi currently.

My friends and I got to check out Kasabi in St. Peters, a little after opening week and it was a fun experience. We got: * Crab Rangoon * Takoyaki * Edamame * Gyoza * Chef's Choice Sushi and Maki's (1 Tower and 1 Bridge) * 2 Chef's Choice Ramen * Hibachi Grill (Scallops, Steak, Shrimp, Lobster) with veggies * Bubble tea I didn't really get to try the ramen because I was too full, by the time it came out. The bubble tea wasn't the best, but it was okay! Everything else that I was able to fit into my belly was tasty. One of the things that did caught my eye was the Golden egg and the black crispy garlic from the hibachi side, though. Cool to watch and it's delicious! Definitely better experience than the Kasabi by Florissant area!

Japanese steakhouse, hibachi, sushi snd raman restaurant. The decor says West County, but the price on the lunch special says blue collar St. Peters special occasion. I was only here picking up an appetizer because I arrived just before 2:30 pm. (I got off work at 2) I hadn't done my research beforehand. This restaurant is more classy than I expected. The grills in the center dining area made me realize this was a Japanese steakhouse. Sushi is also offered. Hibachi grilled lunch special will be my choice next time. However, my quick choice was Vegetable Gyoza. It is like a pot sticker in Chinese cuisine. The gyoza was tasty and the sauce on the side added more complexity. I also ordered a green tea "to-go" and this was served in a styrofoam cup with a tea bag. (I was told this would happen... kinda. I was told they would add syrup in a cup and I became curious so I still wanted it.) This place deserves another better-prepared and timed visit. Real lunch special visit- (I was recognized from the day before) This time I was able to arrive before 2 pm on a Saturday I ordered the Hibachi Salmon lunch special with both salad and soup plus green tea. The green tea came out quickly in the standard teapot... however, no tea bag and only fine tea leaves where left after consumption. I believe this was matcha green tea to my uneducated self. Next was the delicately flavored green onion soup that was mostly broth, but fit for this cold day. The salad was fresh with a crunchy snap to forget the cold outside. (I was not charged for a 2 side so not sure if this a true Yelp guidelines review.) The salmon was grilled to perfection with the lightest hint of crispness on the outside. The variety of grilled vegetables was much appreciated. All are served around a generous portion of fried rice. This restaurant is a great lunch special to just try or a dinner destination to bring someone special.

Kasabi has a wonderful list of Japanese dishes and sushi, and offers hibachi service. The Takoyaki is solid, the sushi consistent and plentiful, fish cut quality is good, and tamago gets extra points. The service was friendly, cordial, and personable. I came in with one of my hot sauces, and Tina I believe was her name(no formal introductions were given) talked about her shared interest in spice and we had an exchange of our go to spices, her Bon Cabe Sambal Tabur 30 and my Ghost of Saffron Sauce. The great food combined with a warm atmosphere and friendly and personable staff here, elevate this Kasabi to a 5.

Omg!! I am so glad I got on the trusty yelp app for some ramen! ;)…read more While out here I met up with one of my friends who was telling me their ramen out here is delicious. I picked the ramen spot based on reviews and the photos of the ramen. Ichiro Ramen stood out from the rest. This spot is about 40 mins outside of St. Louis and it was well worth the drive. It's located in a strip mall next door to a grocery store. The restaurant itself is small, yet does have plenty of seating to dine in. We were greeted and immediately sat down. We were asked if we wanted a table or booth. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, my friend ordered the seafood ramen extra extra spicy and mg other friend ordered the chicken fried rice since she's not a big fan of Ramen. The waitress brings out our food one at a time and the food looks and smells amazing. I taste my broth and it is chef's kiss all I did was add some hot chili oil for extra flavor and kick. My friend's seafood ramen looked so good snd you can tell hers was super spicy because how rich and deep the color red her broth was and she added a lot of hot chili oil to hers since she loves spice. My friend's chicken fried rice didn't look aesthetically appetizing, but she's said it was tasty. Ichiro is definitely up there as one of the best ramen spots I've been to, it's pretty close next to my favorite ramen spot is Sacramento, Ca Soku Ramen and they speaks volumes.

I was impressed with the freshness of the seafood in my chicken and shrimp bowl, which also included mango and brown rice. The ingredients themselves seemed high quality, but the combination of flavors just did not come together for me. This was one of their signature bowls, and I even had them leave off the cucumbers, but the mango mixed with everything else was not really my style. I also was not a fan of the contrast between some ingredients being warm while others were cold. That said, the chicken, shrimp, and sauces themselves tasted very good. My wife actually really enjoyed it, so I can definitely see why many people would love this place. We also ordered an appetizer, though oddly it did not come out until after our bowls, so I am not sure why they consider it an appetizer lol. I also tried the vanilla boba tea, and it was a little too sweet for me personally. It had a ton of sugar and was just a bit overpowering. Service was fine overall. The employee at the counter was helpful while ordering, though the experience did feel a bit rushed. One small disappointment was that the sodas are canned rather than fountain drinks. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean inside and had around 5-6 tables available for dining.
