Came for a Friday lunch I ordered the lunch plate with shrimp tempura & a California roll (lunch dishes come with salad and soup) and a caterpillar roll Pros: -The service. The waiter was very friendly, helpful, and efficient -The food was really good! I really enjoyed the sushi roll, it was very fresh. I added spicy Mayo to my rolls Cons: -The paper plates & plastic utensils. It made it very hard to eat the sushi in one piece because the rice kept sticking to the plate. Considering the sushi rolls average around $10 each it should be plated on a real plate.

LSL is by far the best roll we have ever eaten anywhere, I could post 100 pics of that roll.

Always fantastic, have never had a bad experience. They have almost loosened up, but still not back to exactly how they were before the pandemic. For awhile they bounced around w/waitstaff, fortunately they have been able to hang onto the one server guy who is very good he's friendly and efficient, he's a keeper. The original owners, the taisho and his wife, have sold to the younger itamae that was with him for years. We hope he maintains the same level of care that the original owners did. This means he will have to come out from behind the counter and check on the condition of the bathrooms and booth springs

We went to Sushi Sen for dinner and it was a great experience. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and fun the whole time. The quality of the food was better than we were expecting and will definitely bring us. Everything was very fresh. We loved everything we tried but the yellowtail nigiri was probably a favorite from both of us. Tables are spread out enough so that even when it's busy, you kind of feel like you're secluded which makes for a really nice dining experience.

Yummy rolls and sake!

We are sushi connoisseur's and let me tell you this best has the best presentation I've ever seen in my life. Sushi comes in a SICK plate and it is delicious fill with the Max amount of food. The wait is long but definitely worth it.

Make sure to call ahead to book and let them know your protein choice--chicken, beef, shrimp, or all of the above. The best part? The fire show is done at the end to avoid any alcohol mixing in your food! They also serve delicious halal ramen (miso chicken ramen was superb!) and all the fixings you love. A must-try for a flavorful and halal-friendly night out! The portions are very generous so come hungry! *Call ahead to book for halal hibachi *They do serve alcohol #HalalHibachi #stlhalalfoodie #stlhalal https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUJLttYjrF3/?igsh=OTkxeG54Nmkxb3dp

We were there for my son's birthday and I can't say enough good things about them. The hostess and the servers were very friendly and the hibachi chef was super entertaining. I remember when hibachi restaurants first came to St. Louis. They were a big deal and they really put on a show, but in recent years it seems like they have become lackluster. These chef really go out of their way to entertain you during the entire cooking process. We really had a lot of fun; our chef was very personable and made my son's birthday special. If you let them know ahead of time that you have a birthday, they will come out and sing and beat a drum and give the birthday person a free dessert. Other hibachi restaurants charge you for the service but they do not. That's a huge plus. I brought my own candles and gave them to the hostess before our dinner and they had them lit on the piece of cheesecake when they brought it out. The chef cooked everything to perfection and their noodles and rice were also very good. The sushi was great too!

My husband and I ordered the Sushi Boat Deluxe and an Ocean Roll to share. While we waited for the Sushi Boat, the Ocean Roll already told us that the fish was going to be good. My MIL ordered chicken fried rice and house lo mein for her and my toddler. Man, we weren't expecting those dishes to be flavorful, but they were! Could it be? The best fried rice we've had also? Probably! The restaurant itself is pretty small, and the parking lot even smaller. We visited on a Friday afternoon around 3pm, so we didn't have any waiting issues and the staff was super attentive. We will be back because my husband and I want to tackle their Titanic Sushi Boat.
