Hibachi boy is a nice fast casual place to grab some mediocre sushi and noodle dishes. There are hibachi dishes and noodle bowls are where it's at. It's a great deal in a fraction of the cost of a full-service hibachi restaurant and a healthier choice than other fast food joints. I think they are the first place to introduce Bobo to the area and although it's pretty good, they have issues with accommodating requests to lower the sugar content. I was told in order to do that they would put in less of the tea flavoring, so I don't know how authentic their Boba is, but it's delicious! Service is always friendly and generally pretty fast. Hibachi Boy is one of my favorite places to stop when in Saint Charles looking for a fast casual bite to eat. The staff is always super friendly, the food is great, and the price is so reasonable. We ordered the appetizer sampler and both noted that the crab Rangoon was our favorite but the rice bombs, veggie spring rolls, and pot stickers were also delicious. We shared the warrior and dynamite rolls. The super light and crispy fry on the warrior was amazing...probably my favorite fried roll I've ever had. We also split the chicken yakisoba, which was also delicious! The girl taking our order even made sure that was split into two plates for us, which I think was above and beyond! The restaurant is fast casual and offers dining room seating or takeaway, I always eat in. The menu provides a variety of asian cuisine. Curry, crab rangoon, and rice bombs, are what I had in this particular instance. The crab rangoon was light and crispy, the rice bombs come smothered in a delicious combo of mayo and eel sauce, and my curry was accommodated and modified to add super hot peppers, packing a flavor bomb experience and creamy texture, that delivered in heat. If I get it again though I think I will just get steamed rice because I was not a huge fan of the fried rice. It had a really intense pepper flavor and just wasn't the best fried rice I have had. Otherwise it was a solid meal and service was really great as well. I did carry out but the restaurant looked really nice and clean while I was waiting. I tried this place for lunch. I saw a big delicious looking piece of salmon on the menu so I asked for the salmon teriyaki. Instead of the big grilled filet that's dilated they give you mini salmon bites. Also , it was just noodles sauce and meat. Very tasty "hibachi" spot. I don't think this place qualifies as hibachi as there really isn't a ton of Vegetables in their entrees but is is still delicious. I usually get the teriyaki combo and the appetizer platter. It is all very good. If you are expecting hibachi you might be let down, if you are wanting to try a new Asian food place you will love it. They have great sushi as well. A lot of people eat in or takeout. The food also takes about 10 minutes to be served, just be careful because their hours can be weird. I have seen this place many times and always been curious. I finally stopped in on a Wednesday evening. Their menu is huge but a lot of choices are just different configurations of the same meal. You order and pay at the counter and they bring out your food. You help yourself to drinks and such. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bowl with Fried Rice and the Curry Potstickers. The curry sauce that came with the potstickers was pretty good but the dumplings themselves were just sad frozen dumplings with little flavor. I only ate 2 of them. The bowl was fried rice with a few bits of egg and chunks of salmon with the teriyaki sauce on top. This tasted like premade fried rice that comes from a bag, overcooked salmon, and sweet gloppy teriyaki sauce from a food-service bottle. It wasn't good at all. This meal ended up being $23.50 with a tax and tip and I never complain about price but it was not worth it simply because it wasn't good and I didn't want to eat it. I can't even believe people order raw fish here. I'd be terrified. One and done. read more

My mom didn't like milk tea until I brought her here and she fell in love with their taro milk tea, the honeydew flavor is my favorite, personally. You can dine in or takeout in this bright, modern restaurant; the staff is friendly and they bring your food out to you. I love their combo yakisoba, I typically go to Hibachi Boy every year for lunch on my birthday and I always get the yakisoba! Hibachi Boy is fast, inexpensive and totally delicious. Many of the things on their menu are at least somewhat healthy and contain veggies so you're gonna be full but not feel like junk after eating here. Last Monday was my son's last music lesson and so I'm like why not try this place. And it didn't disappoint. I'm glad I tried it and I'm probably going to bring my wife and kid here in the future. I love the way it was prepared, although it's not physically appealing but this is the way I want noodles to be prepared.
