Honey Roll & Jalapeño

I went with a co worker as soon as they opened at 11am. We went for their lunch special $14.99 all you can eat meal. The service was excellent and could not have asked for anything better. Quite and clean restaurant to eat at.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice. The food is good. Service is good. And the price for all you can eat is pretty good for all it comes with.

I've visited the Sushi Ai in Maryland Heights and Chesterfield. This location is by far the best one I've eaten at. While the set up is a big open floor plan vs division created by booths, room dividers or something else, it does accommodate for the crowd it brings. In a party of four, we had a brief wait. The hostess was friendly, the waitress was attentive and the food/cocktail was delicious. The favorite roll for the night was Sexy Girl. Who would have thought a slice of beef would be the perfect topping!

Loved the all you can eat option. It allowed us to try many rolls! The restaurant is a cute place. The service was good.

We won't be back. If you enjoy bland, Americanized sushi- this is your place! $15 dollars for half a chicken breast and a lump of veggies served on a fajita style skillet was less than impressive as an entree. The miso soup was cold, edamame and crab Rangoon were standard and the rolls were more cream cheese and rice than anything else. The water was delicious. Service was good, not great.

Teriyaki steak bowl

3rd time ordering. 3rd time disappointed. Steak was GRAY and no taste. Chicken same. Everything was just blah. I threw it out after paying $85 for a meal for 2.

We went for lunch and really enjoyed. The sushi was great and so were the appetizers!

Had lunch there today...service was slow and got a mild case of possible food poisoning so you might want to avoid this place.

Make sure to call ahead to book and let them know your protein choice--chicken, beef, shrimp, or all of the above. The best part? The fire show is done at the end to avoid any alcohol mixing in your food! They also serve delicious halal ramen (miso chicken ramen was superb!) and all the fixings you love. We were there for my son's birthday and I can't say enough good things about them. The hostess and the servers were very friendly and the hibachi chef was super entertaining. I remember when hibachi restaurants first came to St. Louis. They were a big deal and they really put on a show, but in recent years it seems like they have become lackluster. These chef really go out of their way to entertain you during the entire cooking process. We really had a lot of fun; our chef was very personable and made my son's birthday special. If you let them know ahead of time that you have a birthday, they will come out and sing and beat a drum and give the birthday person a free dessert. Other hibachi restaurants charge you for the service but they do not. That's a huge plus. I brought my own candles and gave them to the hostess before our dinner and they had them lit on the piece of cheesecake when they brought it out. The chef cooked everything to perfection and their noodles and rice were also very good. The sushi was great too!

The crab rangoon had just the right amount of cream cheese and seasoning, and the wonton wrappers were crispy and delicious. My fried rice was a highlight! I loved the egg in it, and it tasted so fresh. Our waitress was attentive, and the restaurant was very clean and inviting with a fun vibe. I wasn't sure how I felt about getting ramen delivered, because just as a dish... i didn't think it would carry well. The packaging on this when it arrived to me, was thoughtful, made sense, and saved the texture of every item. My ramen was delicious, the only downside about it was that I paid for broccoli and that was forgotten, but no big deal. I had some soup dumplings, they were tasty. The chicken lo mein was a bit too oily for my liking, but everything else was solid.

The waiter brings the raw ingredients to you, and you will need to fetch your own sauces. Everything is cooked in hot broth, so definitely super healthy. They were able to accommodate one of our friends who uses a wheelchair, which made me happy. It was open, clean, and bright. The music was a fun selection, though it was so loud that I had to ask them to turn it down so we could hear each other and they immediately obliged. I felt a little awkward asking (I just wanted to be able to hear all my friends!), but I was glad they didn't make it weird. I got a matcha milk tea which was pretty good. The waiter did a fairly good job explaining things, and the menu was insanely extensive. There is just SO much variety. After having watched Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, I wanted to try lotus root and it was SO good. I also ordered carrots and ramen. Some friends ordered shrimp and scallops, and the others ordered fried tofu and spicy things that I mostly ignored. My side ordered the chicken broth and the nutritious broth. The chicken broth was okay, a bit lackluster, but OMG. That nurtrious broth has me obsessed. HOW can I make that for myself?! I don't like mushroom texture, but they apparently gave this broth a delightful flavor along with the ginger. I thought about it all night after and most of today, but luckily, we were able to take our leftovers home and I was able to eat it again today! SO good. We got a volcano of beef to share, which I found charming, and it was fun to cook the food at our table. Everyone left feeling full and happy. I thought it was a bit pricy, but if it been just myself and my partner, I think it would've been plenty more reasonable (we just split the bill evenly, which I was fine with). This was lots of fun and that broth is enough to make me want to go back again soon. It's been a while since I ate somewhere and daydreamed about the food long after-- well done, Umami Seasons!

The staff was doing a great job. This was actually my first visit to Sushi Sen. I ordered the gyoza to munch on while we awaited the big show (we may have slightly over ordered for the two of us!). The gyoza were nice and crispy, the filling had good flavor. I wouldn't hesitate to order them again. Now to the rolls, in no particular order. Vegas, Fuji, Philly (fried), Crispy, Lake St Louis. I think the LSL rolls gets my vote for favorite of the day. Is it the avocado? The spicy mayo? Don't get me wrong, they were all really tasty. One thing, I didn't care too much for the texture of the cooked salmon in the Vegas and the cooked tuna in the Fuji, but I still enjoyed them. And if anyone is worried, they are using everything disposable. It's a been a long time since I have wine out of a plastic cup.

Ordered the lobster roll and I think it was shrimp tempura, miso soup, chicken katsu and green tea. We were delighted with a warm towel at the start and they even packed us a fresh batch of green tea to take home. There were a lot of options for adventurous folks who enjoy sushi. Not a lot of the basic traditional ones for more picky eaters or those just wanting to start trying sushi. It was pretty early so there were only a few parties inside but it started to pick up a little when we were leaving.
