Ordered the lobster roll and I think it was shrimp tempura, miso soup, chicken katsu and green tea. We were delighted with a warm towel at the start and they even packed us a fresh batch of green tea to take home. There were a lot of options for adventurous folks who enjoy sushi. Not a lot of the basic traditional ones for more picky eaters or those just wanting to start trying sushi. It was pretty early so there were only a few parties inside but it started to pick up a little when we were leaving.

My husband and I ordered the Sushi Boat Deluxe and an Ocean Roll to share. While we waited for the Sushi Boat, the Ocean Roll already told us that the fish was going to be good. My MIL ordered chicken fried rice and house lo mein for her and my toddler. Man, we weren't expecting those dishes to be flavorful, but they were! Could it be? The best fried rice we've had also? Probably! The restaurant itself is pretty small, and the parking lot even smaller. We visited on a Friday afternoon around 3pm, so we didn't have any waiting issues and the staff was super attentive. I also had the miso soup and while it was delicious, the tofu inside tasted more like rubber than the soup itself and left a metallic taste in my mouth.. And while the sauce on shrimp was great, the sauce on the chicken looked more like goop and tasted like barbecue sauce more than actual teriyaki sauce. I know that everyone has different tastes, but I have been to a number of different hibachi/sushi restaurants and I have never walked out of one without eating my meal. Lastly, the atmosphere gave me and my friend a weird vibe before we even sat down. It may have been our mistake to not acknowledge the red flags, but looking at other reviews, I feel we made a good decision by not speaking with the staff about our issues. While we didn't have much interaction with staff outside of the woman at the front counter, the interactions we did have were rude, passive aggressive, and it genuinely seemed like she hated working there.
