I was craving two things: orange chicken and something new. Review average was good--higher than Asian Cafe, lower than Thai Kitchen. Ordered delivery. First impression: I got about 50% value outta $50 for fresh spring rolls, 1/2 fried rice, crab Rangoon and orange chicken--that was just from opening boxes. I will have to visit to see if this was just a fluke but...if you've ever had good orange chicken what you see here and what you taste is not that--tough and tiny (pieces & portion). Nice little Thai & Japanese menu. Missing my favorite Thai soup - Khao Soi, but never mind because I have a peanut allergy so I was steered to the sushi menu in order to avoid cross-contamination. The owners were very sweet and thoughtfully volunteered to fry some shrimp tempura for me in a clean wok with fresh oil to make me a shrimp tempura roll. Made a trip to Thai Jasmine in O Fallon, MO. What a great restaurant for anyone interested in Thai Food. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get a table without issue. Our server quickly took our drink order. Thai Jasmine offers a very diverse menus of Thai, Asian fusion as well as a sushi bar. Thai Jasmine has a very nice decor as well as very clean We were recommended to try their signature Pad Thai as well and their version of fried rice. All dishes were seasoned perfectly with plenty of spice ( You chose your spice level when ordering). Thai Jasmine was a great meal and so was the service. We'll be back for sure. read more

First visit to Thai Jasmine to have a date night with wife. It was 6:30pm and only one other table present. Selected entree Pad Nam Prik Pao (Pork), medium + heat. My wife got Pad Thai (vegetables), medium heat. The Pad Nam Prik Pao (Pork) was very good. I would recommend the dish with caveat you like spice. There is a noticeable difference in spice with plus (+) vs medium (no plus). I tried sample of wife's Pad Thai and I felt medium was underwhelming. From this one visit I do think I will return to try more. read more

The service was great. We were greeted promptly and told to seat ourselves. Everyone was friendly and timely. The food was ok. It wasn't great, it was just ok. The ambience was pleasant however the cleanliness needs improvement. Our feet stuck to the floor with every step. When we were asked to seat ourselves there were only 2 tables that appeared to be wiped down. The walls needed a good cleaning. The maki--a California roll--had perfectly fresh nori, cucumber and avocado nicely balancing the crab. Nigiri consisted of tuna, salmon and sea bass with each piece fresh tasting--not fishy. Off Highway K I found some of the best Thai (yes, I have eaten on the loop & South Grand). For me, really good Asian food is full of flavor, al dente vegetables and not over cooked meat. The $8 lunch special of spicy noodles with chicken was started by a simple mushroom, noodle & rice soup with more complex sensation than the simple bowl should have allowed. I ordered the 1/2 spring roll special & was the one disappointment of the food. The $2.50 roll was wimpy and served with over powering peanut sauce for such a delicate taste. The real shock was the main dish (ordered 4 out of 5 on heat). Everything (including the cute cut carrots- pic) was cooked perfectly. The mix of heat & flavor was about perfect. The only compliant was running out of water & the owners Dad not knowing English to understand my thirst. The place is just phenomenal & a great find like the other yelpers stated. Unethical management that, instead of taking accountability for ensuring that THEY place all of the customer's food in the bag, they somehow fault the third-party delivery driver who has absolutely no role in preparing the food or bagging the order. I highly suggest all third party couriers beware...let this restaurant handle their own delivery service so that they have no choice but to take accountability for their order errors. read more

Eating Thai & Sushi in O'Fallon Missouri wasn't high on my bucket list but Thai Basil turned out to be really fresh and good! I was dining with a friend who knows the owner. He ordered for us. I had a spring roll with peanut sauce that was wrapped in rice paper. Then we split a salad. The salad was all vegetables and edamame with sliced avocado and a dressing with soy and lots of acid. For our main course we shared a plate of sushi and a piece of salmon with a side of vegetables. Everything was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Tried Thai Jasmine for take-out the other night. Can't say it was my favorite. I ordered..... -Papaya salad: The papaya salad was overpowering with the flavor of tomatoes; can't say that I enjoyed that too much. I usually like mine a little sweeter, hint of fish sauce, mixed with green beans and carrot, and topped with peanuts. The spice level, however, was right on. -Pad see ewe with beef: They use a very thin noodle for this noodle dish, which I thought was different. I was used to a wider, flat rice noodle. The flavor was good, and I came to like the different type of noodle used! -Red curry with chicken: Tasted fine. The chicken, however, had a different texture, similar to overcooked white fish. It was sketchy at first to me, but maybe it was the way the chicken was cut (not thinly sliced, but chunky?) that made it cook in that manner? Might not return for Thai food, but thinking about giving their sushi a shot some time in the future. read more

Found Thai Jasmin in O'Fallon and stopped in for lunch. Small little place located at the intersection of HWY K and Fiese Rd. We were immediately seat upon entering. For appetizer I ordered the Tom Kha Soup with chicken. The soup is made with coconut milk, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, Thai chili peppers, coriander, straw mushrooms chicken and lime juice The soup was spicy, hot soup and very flavorful. ($5) My new favorite. For entree I ordered the red curry ($11). which was fresh and flavorful. The food portions are also generous. I've had so many of red curry dishes that I can't tell a difference anymore ha! If you like Thai food then you should definitely give this place a try. They are cheaper than most other Thai restaurant in the area. They also serve made to order sushi and other delicacies. My friends order pad Thai and they said it was very good. They offer three levels of spiciness mild, hot and 911. Hot wasn't that spicy and neither was 911. The waiter said to order double 911 if you really want spicy food. I love Thai Jasmine! I've been coming here for years and it's never disappointed. You've heard from everybody else on this business's profile...the Thai food is some of the best 'round herrre. The sushi is also some of the best around town. I like Pat the owner, he is super friendly and super hospitable. I like the staff, because they are also super friendly and very hospitable. Seriously, you can't I go wrong with great hot food and super friendly service. The atmosphere is Divey but that's what makes this place a gem to me. I think I've noted with some yelp tips that if you get confused with some of the Thai names for the entrees, that they have a awesome binder filled with all the pictures, of all the food items. That also includes the sushi , and speaking of the sushi I said its some of the best around town but you really can't beat the super affordable price that I jasmine has to offer. I think the value here is it makes this place even better. The best part about this location is it's literally a stone's throw away from my house. That leaves me with a very comfortable feeling that I am so close to such an awesome place to eat at. I like supporting locally owned food establishments. I like supporting locally owned businesses in general. Come and support this locally owned business it's good for the community! You know, I think this is really one of those places where a review doesn't really do it justice . Or maybe mine at least?
