The Thai special Mei Fun and the chicken egg rolls were great, the steamed pork dumplings were ok, and the chicken fried rice was so bland I had to dunk it in crushed red pepper to give it any kind of flavor. I've been craving Chinese food for awhile and was so glad I finally got my fix. It was so good! I got the general tsos chicken with fried rice and a side of sweet and sour sauce and my boyfriend got the "c7 garlic sc." and both were good but he likes mine more as his chicken was not fried like he thought. The menu is not very descriptive so be aware of that. I knew I'd like the general tsos chicken so this didn't affect me but it might be a problem for others as there isn't much information online. We also had the crab Rangoon which was SO good dipped in the sweet and sour sauce (it's an extra dollar for the sweet and sour sauce but they give you a huge container of it so it's well worth it-we had a lot left) We ordered online for a carry out order and it was ready and hot on time. The order counter has thick plexiglass nearly to the ceiling. To be understood through it customers must shout personal info like their names and phone numbers for pick-up orders. A newly installed temporary wall in the dining room includes a makeshift door with a window. Cash, credit cards, and orders are passed through the opening. Despite these virus precautions for the staff, the small space makes it difficult for more than three diners waiting on orders to socially distance. Chairs for waiting sit next to each other. I was looking forward to those place because it has great reviews. Unfortunately we found the food lacking. The Honey Chicken in the photo I posted was about 60%-70% breading. The entire batch was like that. It's like they took the shreds of chicken from the chicken fried rice and triple battered them. The crab fried rice was also unappetizing. General Tso's was sweet and almost ketchup like. Crab Rangoon was gelatinous and not flavorful. ALWAYS good! This has been our go to Chinese place for 7 years- since we moved to this area l.

We ordered on Christmas Eve, a bit of a tradition, since our regular place when we are in town was closed. I was hesitant to try somewhere new, but based on the decent reviews - we went a head and sent it. The food was ready in twenty five minutes and was hot and ready to go by the time we got there. They do a five percent discount if you use cash instead of card, which is an added bonus. We ordered almost ninety dollars worth for our huge family, and that five percent makes a difference! Ask about it :) I'll start and say the egg drop soup was super tasty - seems hard to mess up, but believe me - some places find a way. They're stingy with the crunchies on top though. Less stingy with the grease on everything else , but that's to be expected. Wings were good, crab Rangoon AMAAAAZING and worth ten damn stars, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, and fried rice all passed our expectations and more. We have missed good Chinese food being stationed at Ft Bragg - and will hit this place up next time we are in town! read more

Unfortunately China King 94 isn't what it used to be. I ordered about 70$ of food. Crab rangoons and apps were good. Egg drop soup was good as well. But we were very dissatisfied with our entrees "chef specials". Both the hot braised chicken and cashew chicken were way OVER BREADED! And not a usual breading, it's like a pancake batter. They were about 5 pieces of broccoli in our dishes and barely any other vegetables. The chicken itself was good but so small you couldn't tell the difference. Great service. Nice wait staff (counter staff). Great choice. Except I love the green beans and they do not offer that as a side at all. Once in a while I crave it and got to have it. Would be nice to see added to menu. Their fried rice lacks. Although I do ask for extra onion and bean sprouts - they are accommodating. My previous fav Chinese place had egg, carrots, peas in their fried rice. I miss that. Never been disappointed with the crab ragoon. Best anywhere I've eaten. Portion size is good also so they have not downsized due to Covid like other places. When we were able to eat in - the place was spotless in the accessible area. I commend them for how they handled Covid with pickup at the window/door. But they have not reopened their dining room area. There is another China King off Wolfrum. Completely different how they fix their items and I did not like the counter staff or their food. So it maybe a chain (or common name) but don't expect the same taste or recipe. Instead of adjusting the charge to my card it was offered to give me the items next time I order. Having lived in the Saint Charles area I have been coming here for many years. I have since moved to LSL about 20 minutes away. I still take time out of my day to make this commute, even though there is a Happy China right around the corner from where I live. The food here is outstanding. Top notch. Pt of pork fried rice, pt of sweet sour chicken, 8 pc crab Rangoon. My go to. The only problem with this place is that I have eaten out the last 4 days. I am getting it again today right after I post this review. I may go broke eating here but my heart and stomach are happy.
