They keep some of their beverages in a grab and go fridge. There are utensil supplies in the main dining area. There is a standard fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the main dining area. There is a TV mounted on the wall but not turned on. This is more of a take-out spot but they do have seating for about 20. I ordered a tofu dish with steamed, white rice. Allergy alert: Always ask about allergens. Always. I mentioned my peanut allergy and was told that their Lo Mein sauce contains peanut butter! I've never run across this before, so always be aware recipes vary restaurant to restaurant. Tip: This is a carry-out or pick up type of place. Although they have 4 tables, their teenage kids are always playing video games (loudly) at one and I've never seen a customer eating inside. It's not a problem. It's just a family affair with dad cooking and mom and kids taking orders. The boneless spare ribs are cut small & absolutely delicious. She said they are not barbecue spareribs, but it tastes like Chinese barbecue sauce to me. The small carton is jam packed and more than enough for 2 people. I also really enjoyed their Mu Shu Pork as well. I ordered mine with extra green onions and extra plum sauce. Yum! The Singapore Mei Fun gets 5 stars! Phenomenal. Huge and packed with flavor. If you have a dry curry, you will love this. I'm giving this place five stars for what it is. The China Queen in St. Peters appears to be a family operated business. I ate there on a weekday, late afternoon (about 3:00) and saw only two workers who I assumed were the owners, husband and wife. I only spoke with the female who spoke good but heavily accented English. She was very friendly and willing to speak slowly and repeat when I asked. (This is important to me as I have extremely poor hearing even when wearing hearing aides.) C. Queen is primarily a take-out style establishment with a few "eat in" tables. The menu is basic take-out, offering a large variety of dinners, lunch specials, a la carte items. Cold drinks are in a refrigerated case beside the counter. I ordered the sweet-&-sour chicken lunch special to eat in. I don't remember thinking that the prices were unreasonable, especially considering that the serving size was quite ample. Two diners could have shared the meal and neither would have left hungry. My meal was ready quickly ... in fewer than 10 minutes. The food was hot (very) and tasty, although I'm guessing that the recipe was a family version. It didn't have the typical Americanized Chinese take-out taste I expected and personally, would have preferred. But that's just personal preference. The dinning area and what I could see of the kitchen was clean, uncluttered. I don't live locally, but I would be open to ordering from China Queen again on another visit to the area. read more

China Queen III is our first choice for Chinese food in the Harvester/Cottleville area. The menu will be as familiar as any other standard, non-authentic Chinese restaurant you'll find in most towns. However, I've never had trouble ordering, never had an incorrect order, and their dinner combo specials are the perfect size for one hungry person (or two lovers with appetizers). I've ordered carry out from this establishment a couple of times using the Beyond Menu app. It was ready quickly, order was correct (we had a special request), my food was tasty and hot and the place is clean. These days my standard order is fried rice, steamed dumplings and crab rangoon. I was so happy to find out they have EGG! fried rice. I love egg fried rice. The dumplings were standard, but the soy dipping sauce is really flavorful. The crab rangoon are good, but were not my favorite. I switched it up to a shrimp egg roll the next time and I really liked it better then a pork egg roll. Everyone was friendly, so give it a try! read more

The portions are generous and the service is fast. Its like most carry out Chinese Restaurants there is a small area for dining with the sign on the wall with pictures of food options. They are very accommodating on special request and always get it right. The flavoring for their sauces are right on. All the appetizers are very good , with crab rangoon being the best I have had in the area. I have had many of the main course and have never been disappointed. When I am in the mood for Tofu they have several options. Sometimes this can be interesting, but they do a very good job preparing the vegetables as well as the Tofu. Caught me off guard since I gave them my address when I called. Chicken Lo Mein was terrible. Szechuan chicken was better but nothing special. I tipped well, but would advise that the restaurant should check addresses for delivery... before waiting to tell the customer that they shouldn't call until you're delivering to their door. First time customers. Ordered for delivery on a Friday night. Good- Easy to order over the phone. Gave accurate delivery time. Took advantage of the online coupons on their website. Bad- Chicken and lobster fried rice were both very overcooked and bland. Unbrowned chicken in soy sauce loaded rice. Lobster was fishy in the same rice. Pan fried dumplings- overcooked and gummy. Stuck in my teeth. Almost like they were steamed, some weren't even browned at all. Fried chicken wings- more like pigeon wings. Tiny and so overcooked that they are jerky like. Beef and broccoli- meat not browned at all. Bland. Broccoli cooked well. Just tasteless. Hot and sour soup- no depth of flavor. Spicy yes, but no sour or sweet to balance it. Edible for about 10 bites. Egg rolls- greasy and undercooked. Crab rangoon- ok, but no sweetness! Usually there is a touch of honey in them to balance out all of cream cheese. They were the best thing that we got by far! Long story short- we actually threw all of this food away sadly. We will not be back. We live close and wanted to try something new and what a letdown! Everything was overcooked, and even the basics were lacking. We only kept the crab rangoon. What a waste of food and $45 down the drain. I did not know about all the lobster items as I had phoned in my atypical order to all Chinese restaurants and pursued the menu as I waited. I know what I'm ordering next time. The staff is friendly and your food is up in about 10 minutes which is much better than the place by Schnucks which takes anywhere between 20 -30 minutes even if your the only one. China Queen is quit tasty, not bland like the other places that have the same foods. They got my order correct, Lo Mien, plain, no veggies. Most places put in extra veggies. This place was listed as a 5 star Chinese restaurant. My wife and I drove there and went inside to find a poorly light dinner with the 4 employees sitting at the table. There were no customers. We left, because the place did not look sanitary. I've found that you cannot go based on these rating. You just have to go and see for yourself. I'd say, don't waist your time on this place.
