Ordering online was easy. The portions were large and food was delicious. We ordered egg drop soup, Seseame chicken combination plate , crab Rangoon, and garlic chicken combination plate. read more

As usual, the food was delicious. I haven't had a bad experience since patronizing this restaurant 3 years ago.

I have been ordering the same thing from here for about 5 years. The last few times the food has been a little off. Tonight all 6 pieces of the egg foo young were burnt. I tried picking off what I could but ended up just throwing it away. I wasn't going to say anything until I noticed I was charged a credit card fee when I paid with cash. Such a shame because no one has egg foo young anymore. read more

Always so quick and so yummy!! Great at taking special requests and enjoy that they have soy sauce and other packets out to grab however many you would like! read more

The dining room is now open since my last review. Just before noon on a weekday I ordered at the counter and my fried rice came out in less than five minutes. It seemed quicker than fast food. The half order was filling and worth the price. The taste, however, was a bit bland--surprising for a Chinese restaurant since so many are often heavy on the salt or MSG. read more

I think this is the best Chinese takeout place in the area Food was been very good every time we have gone Very fast read more

I order here regularly and am never disappointed. Food is always hot, delicious and a very good value. Quality is consistent as is the short wait for pick up. Highly recommend the pot stickers and crab Rangoon! Excellent! read more

88 China is what you would expect from an American Chinese restaurant It's good and comforting Just be aware. If you order online...their website automatically says ready in 15 minutes. That's a lie. read more

The one locally in WENTZVILLE is best. Last order was from Ofallon. Not as great as Wentzville.

I ordered coconut shrimp lastnight and they gave me the breaded shrimp naked with a separate cup of what looks like the coconut sauce. When I opened up the separate container of sauce and dipped my finger in it, it was miracle whip. Like what? read more

Food is always as expected for American Chinese. 88 china gets the job done. IYKYK.

Tried it a few times wouldn't recommend, rice tasted old chicken was tough, don't waste your money

Been coming for 22 years and love it! Fast friendly and taste is wonderful no matter what you order!

Recently moved to the area. The food was very good. We had the pork fried rice and an egg roll. If you mess with these items than the rest of the menu is bad. The food was fresh, had taste and reasonably priced. We will be back! read more

They don't pay attention to those online orders. Ao frustrating I don't recommend ordering online. They don't look at your order until you get in the store. Defeats thw purpose of having online ordering. Get with the times people. read more

Food is hot, tasty and fast. I like it. Great value! I have no complaints. I am glad I tried it in spite of some of the reviews. It's a regular stop that doesn't break the bank. read more

Food is ok, service is great, definitely send a lot of food, food is just not that great.

I heard this place changed owners so I decided to give it a try for lunch. It's completely remodeled and is clean and inviting. The Chicken Egg Foo Young was superb! I will be back! read more

Good: Huge portions Bad: Had it twice now, both times I woke up feeling like my heads gonna explode. The food is extremely bland. The meats types all taste EXACTLY the same. Do yourself a favor. Find somewhere else. Try again in a year, maybe they'll have changed. read more

found something strange in my food that looks like it has valves and arteries. pretty sure I didnt order anything of the sort. God only knows what kinds of things they are seeving read more

88 China - whatever this is I sure dont think it belonged in my food! absolutely disgusting - Chinese Near Me - Wentzville, Missouri

Second order that was not correct. I love spicy food but could barely eat the curry (which I ordered chicken but received beef) it was loaded with red pepper flakes and onions. Last time we ordered a quart of special fried rice and received a pint. Not sure we will try again. read more

Went in and got a large beef with broccoli, and it was very tasty. The service was great, the food was great, highly recommend.

Just ordered a TON of food from 88 China. Want to share our take on our food experience. Ordered: Roasted Pork Egg Rolls Crab Rangoon Chicken Fried Rice Beef Lo Mein General TSO's chicken Vegetable Egg Foo-Yung Egg Rolls - I'm a bit picky and these are good but I did taste a bit of a fish undertone (fish sauce?) that I don't really care for. Crab Rangoon - stuffed very well. Really enjoyed these! Chicken Fried Rice - strong 'fishy' taste and suttle smell of fish. Again, assuming fish sauce was added and I don' t care for that at all when I'm eating a land-dwelling protein. Beef Lo Mein - good! General TSO's chicken - good! Just hate to see it's listed as a Specialty dish, which costs more, when other restaurants list this under their Poultry/Chicken dishes. Egg Foo- Yung - Did not try this and have not heard comments about this one, yet. Hope these comments help however, delectable cuisine is in the pallet of the beholder so, Bon Appetite! read more

Worst Chinese food ever, anywhere! Their chicken is just about the texture of stringy concrete. Don't bother getting garlic chicken or shrimp. Absolutely no flavor. Not a hint of garlic. It says spicy on the menu and everything. Absolutely not. The fried rice is just fried rice, I mean. Can't really mess that up. The egg rolls were soggy and fishy. The broccoli was good. But that is really all I can say. Like broccoli water, oh and don't forget the concrete strings. The little boy running the register was very polite and professional, so I'll give them that. read more

The food is great!!!! The people are amazing!!!!! And super generous with little extras from time to time. The portions are great and the price is just right. read more

The best Wentzville has to offer and you won't be disappointed. NOT a nasty, Panda Express experience. Food is tasty and very yummy!!

My wife and mother-in-law ordered takeout and sat at the little table. I thought the food was just 'meh' and not that good, however, my wife and mother-in-law refused to eat it. They said they saw crickets in the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant looks worn down, eroded and is in desperate need of tile replacement on the floor and ceiling. It does make me wonder what the back of the kitchen looks like. I have not been back to try. read more

By far best Chinese in Wentzville. We had the Triple Crown and the special friend rice. Our favorite part was they actually made the spicy order SPICY. Thanks 88 China. read more

Ewww no. Don't go here! The rice is hard and gross. The meat is greasy, tough, and flavorless. "Spicy" things have zero spice. Egg rolls were all crust. There was barely any filling in the middle. There was an odd sour smell to the whole thing, and my friend and I both got sick after eating it. Save yourself. read more

Worst Chinese food in the area. Like soo bad. I mean, I have eaten some bad Chinese, and I expect it to not be great, but even my redneck boyfriend wouldn't eat it. He eats fishsticks for breakfast, so just a point of reference. read more

I have gotten food from here many times. The woman that is always working behind the counter has the warmth of a snow pea, but the food is usually good. This visit was interesting because there was a customer in front of me who while placing his order kindly asked if they could avoid letting the egg rolls sit in the grease in the wax paper, because they get a little soggy. He asked very kindly in fact. Her reply you might ask? "NO!! You go somewhere else!!" (Heavy accent). He calmly asked to see the manager, who said his request would be no problem and then walked away. As for my food, it was hot, fresh and accurate. It should be for $47... 2 adults and 2 kids. read more

Huge portion size, come here for lunch for the best value. I would come back if i was passing through again.

Love it. Always fast. When we get in a bind or just don't want to cook, this is a great alternative to the normal pizza carry out. They have a wide variety of dishes to try. My family enjoys the fried rice,lo mien and crab Rangoon. We usually try to mix on something new and I always enjoy the hot and sour soup. read more

Friendly, fast and always ready to please! We ordered take out and it was very good (best egg rolls - ever!) :-) I would highly recommend as a great, reliable, tasty Chinese. Plus the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. read more

Driving through Wentzville at dinner time and my daughter wanted Chinese. We do not live In the area, but saw Panda Express, line was out of the parking lot. We saw 88 China across the lot. I always check Yelp and was concerned with the reviews but figured we would try it. First impression when we walked in, bad. Floor tiles chipping up and dirty, dirty furniture upside down shoved in the corner. Walls and ceiling tiles stained. But we still ordered. General Tso chicken combo with lo Mein and egg roll, and chicken lo mein with steamed dumplings. I can say the food was hot. The general Tso chicken was good, flavor, good amount of chicken not all breading. Lo mein noodles were very good as well but the celery in them had a strange flavor. Dumplings very good. Egg roll left an almost light chemical aftertaste, not sure what type of oil they used. Overall the food was pretty good, the only thing that would keep me from going back and trying again would be the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. read more

I have been coming to 88 China in Wentzville for years. It is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Wentzville. They have always been nice and polite. Which results in great customer service. The food has always been well prepared. And has always been delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. They are also very reasonably priced. read more

I travel a ton and I always hit exit 208 on I70 to stop in Wentzville(right outside St. Louis) for 88 China. The food is some of the tastiest Chinese I've had. I'm holding out on that last star because they really need to give the place a good cleaning. Otherwise, they have good vegetarian options and the price should fit anyone's budget. read more

We are from New York where there is a Chinese restaurant on every corner and 88 China keeps pace with the best of them. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Old favorites have been surpisingly new and delicious with portions very generous. The staff has been extremely accomodating. We eat here once a week exploring different items on the menu, both lunch and dinner. I cannot fathom anyone giving 88 China a single star. read more

This place is FILTHY! Too bad we noticed it after we had ordered. The possibly asbestos tiles on floor are chipping and crumbling. The tables and chairs rusted and gross! The mean lady at the counter rolled her eyes at me a couple times because I couldn't understand her English. She was gruff. The Egg Drop soup Nazi maybe? My husband had watched her, he was standing near the front door, and was like "wow , what was with her???" General Tso's chicken was good, Mongolian Beef, not so much. We will never go back. read more
