WRONG. (See picture attached for proof lol) I am from Florissant, where we have Chinese places on every corner, some card & some cash, but they advertise CASH ONLY if so. We order chicken chow mien, dumplings, cashew chicken & crab rangoons.. all straight to the trash. Which is very disappointing being a new Troy resident & wanting to try to find our "spot" with not as many options as we are used to. My boyfriend fell in love with Golden Wok Buffet & we will be going there from now on. Just disappointed. Spare yourself the headache of ordering from here & go else where.

I'm actually here on business in Washington, MO and the reviews for China King near there were horrendous. So, I drove 7 miles here to see if the people were telling the truth and yes indeed they were. Man oh man, this is the real deal Holyfield here. I ordered my fav curry chicken, house rice and wonton soup and can I tell you, they did not disappoint. I'm almost afraid to admit this but their food tastes a lil bit better than the restaurant in New Orleans where I go. The flavors are popping, the heat is just right, spice wise and the temperature is spot on. I can tell it was made fresh indeed. Chile, now this is a true hidden gem in the plateaus if there ever were one. I will say this, they were skimpy in the shrimp in my rice but it' cool, I get all the shrimp I want in Louisiana. Highly recommend!!!

The problems I will be describing, goes for both meals. The chicken was cold and extremely chewy. The sweet & sour sauce was tasteless. The General Tso chicken is advertised to be hot & spicy. In closing, if you are looking for disgusting, poor quality, tasteless, and has chicken that has a rubbery texture like a piece of gum, then 88 China in O' Fallon, MO. is the place to go.

I used to live not too far from…read morehere and called my favorite place to get one of my absolute favorite dishes that I can't find anywhere else. I love their coconut chicken. Unfortunately, the woman who answered the phone today spoke so fast she was difficult to understand. I'm assuming she said something about holding when she answered, but it took me a moment after saying, "I'd like to place an order for pickup," for me to realize I was on hold. When she came back on the line, I gave her my phone number and told her I wanted to place an order for pickup. Again, she said something really fast and with her accent, I couldn't understand what she was saying. I said, " I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you said." She repeated herself, just as fast, and I had to apologize again and tell her that in still couldn't understand what she said. All I got from what she said was, "Something something something O'Fallon." Before I could ask her if she'd mind saying what she said more slowly, she'd hung up on me. I called back a few times, it went straight to voicemail, and then when it did ring through, I was hung up on every time (after a few seconds of silence first). I promise, I was not rude to her when I told her I couldn't understand what she said. I'm really disappointed, I love their Coconut Chicken and have been thinking about it for over 2 1/2 years now. I was willing to drive 20 minutes to come get it and pass many other Chinese restaurants along the way.
