Yellow Tail Nigiri and Tuna Nigiri

We started with pretzel sticks and fried pickles. The pretzel sticks were served hot. Very good taste and texture. Comes with mustard and cheese for dipping. I enjoyed both. The fried pickles arrived hot. The rind of the pickles were challenging to bite through. Good flavor. Then I ordered the Nigiri yellowtail and tuna. You get three pieces each. Good flavor. Enjoy the slices of ginger. Conner was our server and he did an excellent job. A couple managers stopped by to check on our group was nice. The vibe at the restaurant is lots of friendly energy.

We are moving to the Ofallon area shortly thus on a hunt for our new go-to restaurant and wouldn't you know it, our first try was a winner! Our waitress, Evangelina, was kind, paitent and super peppy (not annoyingly so though). We tried Drakes out of curiosity mostly since they offered elevated bar food AND sushi. Like, how would sushi be good in a sports bar type set up? But wow was it GREAT! My husband was a huge fan of his burger and the open-air style bar/patio (large garage doors that they can open or close per the weather). They have the music videos of the songs that are playing on a few tvs and we also enjoyed that. We cant wait to come back and bring friends with us!

First Time here! It was a bitter cold November Evening & we decided to try this establishment for dinner & we are glad we did! The inside had a warm friendly atmosphere enhanced by a wood burning fireplace in the corner which you could actually eat by. The menu had an abundance of selections which was pleasing to see! My wife had some Sliders with Sweet Potato Fries & I had Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese all preceded with a Bavarian Pretzel for an Appetizer. All of these selections were very good.

-The food was mid to say the least, my husband said the Mac n cheese was dry and needed cheese as you can see in the picture the noodles were bone dry, he said the wrap was good and same with the tater tots. My burger was so dry and flavorless, I cut it in half because it was a huge portion and only ended up eating half of the half. The fries and buffalo chicken dip were amazing thankfully.. ‍-Our server Dimitrius aka D-Dog was great, we took care of us and made sure our drinks were always full and that everything came out alright. -The atmosphere is pretty nice, their seating is unique and comfortable, I like that they keep all menus and silverware/chopsticks on the table for anyone to access. Their bar and dining section are both really clean and up-kept!

I came here for the first time last night with my sister. It was yourself. There was no one at the front door, which was kind of strange, but as soon as we picked a table, we were seated. I would check the tables before you decide to sit as the one we had was super wobbly on the table top and it was kind of annoying the entire time. Was very friendly and I feel like we had a great server she were cute pink glasses which I loved they decorated for Halloween on the inside of the restaurant. The food was mediocre. The sushi was very expensive. Only reason for the four stars is because of the food. Personally, I don't think I would come back.

Stopped by Drakes during a Friday Happy Hour with my daughter. Drakes is a relatively new spot in O Fallon where you can find just about anything on the menu. We arrived about 5pm before the rush and seated with no issues or waiting. Drakes has plenty of TVs to watch any game and pretty good music, I was surprised how good the tunes were during our visit. They do have seating outside and can accommodate larger groups. Drakes has multiple beers on tap to meet anyone pallet and reasonable pricing. Our server quickly took our drink order and recommended a few appetizers. We went with the buffalo chicken dip with chips and some siracha bone in wings. Buffalo dip was a little greasy and salty for my liking, and wings were fully cooked decent siracha rub. Drakes does have a variety of sushi rolls and come with a good portion. Drakes also has the traditional items you expect to find at a sports bar. We ordered the fish plate with tots and Marty Party sushi roll. Fish had great presentation but was undercooked. Sushi was good and would recommend. By the time we finished our meal, Drakes was already full and had a small wait list. I recommend visiting before 6pm if you want to beat the rush. Tables were serviced quickly and restaurant was very clean. Drakes is kid friendly but can't confirm if there's an arcade. Overall, good visit but a little pricey. We will give them another try in the near future.

Unfortunately the food just wasn't great. For the price of one of their signature rolls I could get better quality at many other places around town. I wouldn't eat here again. The sushi tasted like something you would get at a grocery store.

I have been here when it's busy, slow, and late night and the food is always delicious ! Very good portions and comes out hot and fresh! The salads are to die for they're sooo good!! The dip trio appetizer was delicious as well. I also ordered Nicks club. Very yummy sandwich! You can tell all the food is freshly made here.'We will be back many more times !

The wait since they opened has been as might be expected. They have a hopping business and it should be. Service was great, attentive, and cheerful. The rooms and feel of the place were very welcoming. We ordered a Fallspice drink, Crab Rangoon rolls, a chicken sandwich and the All American Mini burgers. The Crab Rangoon rolls were delicious and spot on as a great appetizer. The chicken sandwich was on par. The problem items brought it down a little. For instance, the tater tots on both plates were warm, not hot. Ever so slightly colder... and I would have sent mine back. The salt was heavy and separately almost resulted in a return. The sliders were tasty enough but greasier than the hands of an auto mechanic... and needed more napkins than provided at the table. Not quite used to using a knife and fork on a slider. Ok. It really goes to the sushi to recover this score and it does bring it back up some. The Fallspice was very creative, and the other drinks on the menu give some ideas for future imbibing.

Awesome new spot! Indoor/outdoor vibe, huge bar space, and cool fireplace. We stopped in a few nights ago and it was seat yourself- good selection of high tops, booth and tables. Service was excellent! We started with the Buffalo chicken dip and the seasoned chips were amazing. For entrees I got the steak with sweet potato fries and crab Rangoon roll. All were excellent. My husband got a patty melt with fries and it was delicious! It had a super good horseradish sauce on it. All of it was fantastic. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Tons of parking as well. Last but not least, kitchen is open late and so is the bar!

Food and service was great! Sat outside and it was very nice. Would recommend. They had a very diverse menu as well.

It was decently busy for a Wednesday night but there was plenty of bar seating. The decor is beautiful and I especially appreciated their carefully curated glass and tableware--all stunning. Our bartender, whose name I fail to remember, was excellent. She had great beer recommendations. We tried the Hefe Weissbier (my favorite, which paired perfectly with both appetizers), the Meteor Pils, and the Gaffel Kolsch. I'd recommend all of them if you're a beer drinker! The spinach dumplings are a must. They are bursting with spinach flavor and swimming in a rich brown butter sauce. We also tried the alpine dip, which comes with an enormous soft pretzel. It was okay, but the dip wasn't exactly what we were expecting. I'd probably pass on the alpine dip next time. Overall an amazing experience and I look forward to enjoying a full meal there next visit. Be advised that they pride themselves on seasonal menus so if you're eyeing a menu item, get yourself there to try it before it's gone!

We arrived early for our reservation but they were able to accommodate us, and we continued to receive excellent service courtesy of Hadley for the duration of our dinner. My boyfriend enjoyed his Negroni, which was very adorably adorned with an "XOXO" stamped ice cube. I had a glass of the Sangiovese which was excellent with our meal. They require you to order your entire meal at once, due to the very small kitchen staff. We started with the citrus salad, which was shockingly the star of the show. Do NOT skip this! Everything on the dish went perfectly together, I hope to continue to see this on the menu in the future. Our salad was followed by the mafaldine bolognese, which was rich and delicious, with impeccably cooked pasta. We also tried the sugo pizza, which was on their seasonal pizza list. This wasn't our favorite, but still very good. The guanciale was amazing, albeit a little salty with the other toppings. The pizza crust is definitely the star of the show, rightfully so! I can't wait to come back to try more. Many friends had recommended Noto to me, and it certainly did not disappoint.

I thought I left a review the first time I tried this place early last year or late 2024 but I…read moreguess I didn't. I have since been back at least four times. The first time was a great impression. My fiancé at the time ordered a margarita pizza which was delicious. I ordered a garganelli pasta with some sort of red sauce and beef. It left a lasting impression that made us want to come back for more! The impression was so lasting that I made a reservation for my bachelorette dinner to be here but the pizza I ordered fell very short. I think I ate once slice and left everyone else eat it. We got about 3 different other pizzas and they were just okay. The arancini was good and the blue crab pasta was really good and I was like okay I'll order that next time. It was also to celebrate my birthday and they brought out this dessert and the clove flavoring was so bold I spit it out. It was actually not good at all. I felt bad because they gave it to me for free so I just said I was way too full to finish. (First two visits food pics were on my previous phone so I do not have those any longer!) The third visit, I ordered the blue crab pasta and for the price there was barely anything in the bowl for one, but there were also these small chunks of lemon in it and I could not see it so I bit into it with the peel and it was so sour that it just ruined it for me. Ordered the arancini again but there wasn't enough sauce. The burrata was good though. I feel like I can't catch a break lol The last time I went (last night) we rock paper scissored between the shrimp toast and burrata. Shrimp toast won and I had really great shrimp toast from Indo so this fell flat and then I ordered the garganelli with kale and sunflower seeds and it really wasn't anything great and I've come to realize that this place is overrated and I really think it's psychological because there only open certain days of the week and they're so booked out so it MUST be fantastic, but it's just.. good. That's probably the last time I'll go. I feel a lot better spending my money at Katie's. It's more of a 2.5 star rating but I can't do halves and 2 seems like I hated the place but I didn't. It just really fell short the last 3 visits when other places are just so consistent with quality, Noto has been consistent with disappointment. Hot take, I know from other reviews, so take what you will. Other notes * it's pretty loud so prepare to speak up * very small waiting area - more like an aisle really and an outdoor four person space deck with a door leading to a ramp * even if you make a reservation, the exact time isn't guaranteed until the party before you leaves and they don't rush customers (good if you're the one dining, not so good if you're waiting -- had to wait the night of my bachelorette * no tiramisu a tragedy really * dim lighting so very romantic / love the aesthetic * though it's listed as classy, I've seen men wearing cargo shorts, people wear sweats... disrespectful in my opinion but no strict dress code
