Service and ambiance is great. Lots of TVs and the food is really good as well. Will continue to go back and try more.

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.

The restaurant is super clean and has a calming, zen vibe. The menu is creative and everything is absolutely delicious. This was THE BEST matcha latte I've ever had. Aaron listened to my food sensitivity issues, took me seriously, and knew what to do before I even asked. Amazing. Hubs had the breakfast burrito bowl and he hasn't stopped talking about it since. We found a the door locked when we arrived but lucky for us he opened up just as we were going to leave. Aaron told me their hours can so unusual right now. I did not ask why, but I recommend that you call ahead to make sure he's open. Amazing, healthy, CLEAN food in St. Charles County! NO ONE else is doing this outside the City. What a find. As a foodie , long time vegetarian and health coach, my quality bar is rather high and Heartwood def met it. We took the server's suggestions on what to eat and completely enjoyed the black bean burger and the curry (not spicy) noodles. Even the individual ceramic plates added to ambiance of the meal. We'll be back soon to try other yummy hand crafted dishes!

The service is really nice here and I like that the buffet servers are in the center of the dining area, and not tucked away in the back. I think their selection of Chinese food and seafood is great! ITs alot of food and selections. Like sushi stations, hibachi station, and a Pho station. It was so many people it was kinda off putting honestly. Like it was the season of Flu, Covid, and Respiratory viruses. So I headed to the hibachi grill to cook my food fresh. sooooo the man was rude and had an attitude. I get it we have a language barrier, alot of people, all demanding different things, impatient etc. But the facts were he was rude. But he can hibachi some food. That was great. I did peruse some buffet selections which all pretty much tasted edible but nothing that really blows your mind. NOW The fried BLUE CRAB. exquisite. Will i go back absolutely. wear your leggings with an oversized shirts for the ladies, and men your sweats. because this really a low key place to get full, talk, and go home to go to sleep. Pack your kids up and enjoy a night where you dont have to cook. Sunday dinner was like 23.00 per person and i believe they charged 2.99 for drinks. My waiter was attentive and cleared the plates and refilled the drinks regularly. I will say its almost like a system, eat, clear the plates, bring more people. Nothing attentive but the only reason you should be here is to eat obnoxiously. The ambiance. is cool ultra modern, multiple seating arrangements, if you have a large party, small party, intimate settings, its so large there is a lot of space to accomodate. but the lighting is super bright and the buffet area is almost garish, like we not at an old school miami night club we are here to EAT and EAT alot. I have typed alot for a buffet. I just want you guys to know that you will be overwhelmed when you walk through the door. so if you are a shy, private person, not friendly, overstimulated easily or have ADHD. Prepare yourself, take a shot, your meds or an edible because its almost right at the point of "its too much." Just go check it out and tell me what you think

Absolutely loved our breakfast here! My husband and I sat on the patio overlooking the river, and…read morethe view alone made it worth the visit! So peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect start to our morning! What truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Jenn. She was incredible from start to finish!! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times, and went above and beyond in ways you don't see often. My husband is picky about biscuits and gravy, and Jenn kindly brought him a sample of the gravy first to make sure he'd like it...such a small gesture to some people, but truly made it special for my husband. She even sent us off with coffee to go, which we really appreciated!! The food was just as impressive. I had the traditional breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were nice and crispy, Jenn recommended the ham, which was so flavorful and perfectly charred, so good!!! My husband ended up loving his biscuits and gravy! Between the amazing service, delicious food, and relaxing riverfront setting, this was easily one of our favorite breakfast experiences. Jenn truly made it memorable, and we'll definitely be asking for her every time we come back. Can't wait to return!!

What a charming cafe in the middle of a charming Downtown area!…read more It was freezing the morning we went in, but I was wanting breakfast - specifically pancakes. I had this place in the bookmarks and figured now was the best time to visit. Parking can be an issues in Downtown St. Charles since it is limited to street parking or public parking a few blocks away. We found parking right in front of FPC, mainly because it was a cold, Monday morning. We were greeted immediately, and inside was much smaller than I expected. We got seated right away though, and a good chance to really review the menu. I got a house coffee (delicious), and my husband got a Purple Haze Lemonade. We ended up getting a kid's pancake with bacon and scrambled eggs, Short Rib Breakfast Stack, and a Bomb Burrito. The pancake for my 2 year old was MASSIVE so it was a good day for him lol. The short rib stack was yummy - hash browns with runny eggs and meat on top. The burrito was also pretty good. Our breakfast entrees came with a side order of potatoes and while it was good, it got saltier over time so I might not get that next time. They advertise beignets, so we might go for that next time and try out their lunch menu!

On property is a Casual sports bar atmosphere with restaurant and fast casual dining service. Overall, 4.0+ rated for me, including friendly and helpful staff service in all areas. Expect to pay $12-15pp for a meal plus any beverages; they also have some weekend brunch and PB special offers. Order at counter, grab a table and enjoy meals, apps, drinks (full bar) etc. Known for their Chicken, they have tasty Sandwiches, Salads, Wings and more. Today I ordered the Bill's Chicken Salad, substituting Smoked Roasted Chicken (vs. Fried) and asked for Ranch dressing. Also tried their Smoked Wings as starter, goes great with a cold brew! Strongly recommend reservations (2 wks advance) for Pickleball courts. Or if you just want to enjoy food, drinks and sports on TV, you can walk-in first come. Check it out, Chicken-n-Pickle is good for all ages. And when the weather is nice, plenty of outdoor patio seating or courts available. ENJOY!

We reserved a court for two hours for our Teenage twins and some adult friends to celebrate the Twins Birthday. The facility is Large, well outfitted , fairly clean but sports a curious lack of shade or awnings or umbrellas outside. We found Check in and it was fine and they dropped us off on our court . We were supposed to get the shaded table in front of our court but no one told us it was ours and a rather aggressive family was occupying our shady set up. Service is nonexistent, they are nice but thin in ranks and disorganized and overwhelmed. We finally figured it out and got someone to move the aggressive family. They had words for us. I explained we were first timers and didn't know and even offered to share the shade best we could, but they were mad. Not our fault to be put in this difficult situation. After 20 minutes someone came by for our order we put in for appetizers , drinks and food. We were told we would need to order part of it from other staff because they only served drinks, and appetizers. Let me wrap this up by saying the drinks finally came after 30 minutes and we were never offered more until an hour later. We grabbed a waitress as asked about our food. She said," oh we are two hours behind." What? The food finally came at the 1 hour 45 minute mark with the (cold) appetizers following in a few minutes later. Parched we ran and got our own water but the jug went empty and they were also out of cups. Time was running out now. We ate our cold appetizers and tried to find someone to close the bill out. Guess what ? We waited and They never came! We turned our equipment in and now turn our backs on this big fancy corporate mess! I'm not going to add our pictures as I don't want any innocent family with kids to try this place. It needs a whole management redo, If we want to play pickle ball we will seek something else.
