A group of us came to this location because of the huge patio area. The resturant is big with lots of space inside and outside. They have a lot of menu options and some on the healthier side. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. She was helpful with suggestions a well. Unfortunately for us, the food and cocktails were just ok. The salmon bowl and the chicken wings was good. The mozz and pretzels weren't bad either. The pizza taste like a regular frozen pizza, probably worse. We were greeted promptly and sat in the bar area. I was able to enjoy lunch at Corner Pub. I ordered the Salmon bowl and it was quite delicious. Nice healthy bowl with brown rice, veggies and salmon topped with a sauce. This was a great addition as I am unsure if this is new or not. I also ordered buffalo wings and they were decent. My lunch companion ordered mozzarella sticks and salmon bowl as well. We ordered Cadillac margaritas cocktail and it was decent. I learned that all Cadillac margaritas do not come with grand Marnier so we ordered a shot on the side. I thought Grand Marnier was standard. Our bartender was helpful and gave recommendations when we asked. This was my third time attending and the ambiance is always nice. I love their patio and planned to return when it gets warmer. This was the third Cilocation we've been to. We hadn't been for a few years. We were meeting people for dinner and this is what they chose. We've always had good at the other locations, so why not?! I would actually give it a 3.5, but that's not an option. The physical place was really nice. The patio was closed due to extreme heat, but it looks like a great place to have a meal and some cocktails! Our server, Randy, was good! He was personable, answered questions about menu items, and made some recommendations. The food was the downfall. The people we met had ordered Stuffed 'Shrooms for the table before we arrived. They were very average. My husband got the Fish 'N Chips and was very underwhelmed. He said the fish was very heavily breaded and overcooked.I had the Brisket Tacos and they weren't great. There were two in the order and the tortillas were stuffed full. Unfortunately, they weren't stuffed with brisket. There was very little meat, a large piece of gristle, and a lot of toppings. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't live up to the same standard. The food was mediocre for the price. Nothing stood out as memorable, and for what we paid, I expected much better quality and flavor. It felt more like bar food at a premium price tag. On top of that, the bathrooms were disappointing. I have been to The Corner Pub several times and I really like the bar area, especially the outdoor bar area! It is very nice with a lot of good beers on tap. The bar service and food is good. Many times I go there just because I want to sit outside in their outdoor bar area and watch various sports games. Usually, I am disappointed because it seems to be closed most of the time. Amazing ambiance! We were actually planning on brunch next door but due to the long wait time, we walked over to Corner Pub and I am so grateful we did. It was so cute and accommodating inside and out! The food was very yummy! The sandwich had good chicken and a good sauce- a little spin on the classic buffalo. The tea was good too. The service was alright, the waitress was very unenthusiastic and forgetful, but nothing crazy enough to deduct a star. One neat feature about this restaurant is their outdoor game called Baldango! Great place for an assortment of entrees for varying appetites. The place is huge with a great ambiance. A little noisy, but it comes with the atmosphere. I always get a nice table. I love the healthy bowls; I have had the salmon and teriyaki chicken varieties. I had the cauliflower rice with them. I've been here several times now and have been pleased every time. In fact, it is turning out to be the place I take fellow co-works to for lunch when I'm in the O'Fallon area. There is plenty of parking and the decor is very nice, with high ceilings and plenty of room around the tables offering some privacy. I always like a place where they don't jam up the place with tables making it hard to get around and hearing other conversations going on. The menu has a nice variety of options to please just about everyone. The staff is very friendly and they do a good job in taking the orders and checking back to ensure our drinks are good and everything is okay. As I write this I am sitting across the street at another establishment. I arrived around 5:30 and found a bar stool unoccupied. I sat down and saw three bartenders working. I waited patiently for someone to at least say hello to me. 10 minutes later( watch your cameras) someone gave me a menu and asked me what I wanted to drink. 10 minutes later, still no drink, nobody else said a word to me. I told the girl next to me I guess I'm not getting my beer. I walked out without anyone saying a word to me. I know your ratings are good and I get being busy( I run a 25 million dollar store) so my expectation is to at least say I'm sorry we are swamped. Nothing. The first time I came here I got one of their spicy fried chicken sandwiches and was not impressed at all it was just too saucy and very wet. Everyone else at my table was impressed with their meal however. This time I got the blackened chicken sandwich with the chips and it was slightly better. The "blackened" was actually slightly burnt rather than being a layer of spices cooked into the chicken. The house chips were delicious. We've been coming here every few weeks since they opened and over the last 6-12 months it's been a steady decline in cleanliness and food (not everyone will see my gripes as a negative). Let's start with the cleanliness. Bathrooms have been consistently 4 starts - they are individual rooms for either sex, but that creates its own challenges. No soap tonight. The floors. Oh my. Disgusting. I was thinking it was just our table, but it's tracked all over the restaurant. It is seriously bad. Sticky. Dirty. The chairs are already heavy but with the sticky...hard to move. Update: I stood up to write this and when I moved my shoe almost stayed on the floor. lol. The food. Since the opening the portions have decreased 40% and prices are 200%. I get it - things cost different but it's outweighing the worth. They have also changed up a number of foods or discontinued them all together - I respect some may not see it as a negative. We still come here but it's just far less often...and based on wait times (rarely have any now) it's fairly clear many people feel the same way. read more

If you like terrible service and very mediocre food this place is for you! From walking in at 3:00 with 6 of 30 tables sat we had to wait for the "hostess" to find us a table. The smell of sewer in the air. 10 min later we joined the other 6 tables and ordered drinks and an app. She came back for order and I order the SPECIAL kabobs that the menu says " fri/sat only" she then informs me " we never have kabobs on Saturday, you must come Friday" an intelligent manager would allocate them for both days or change the menu. 35 min later we get main course and ask about app. She says " oh you wanted that?" 5 min later app shows up ( carneasada fries) terrible! We were next to front door and witnessed several aggravated people that came in both to sit and for pick ups. Wrong orders, long waits with empty tables all over. While eating the check comes. Mind you we had to flag people down for refills but the check was delivered. I advise her we wanted desert. She takes check back and runs off. Desert comes and The funnel fries with powdered sugar were dry. We had to ask for the sugar to put on them. After completing the desert it was the only thing truly good. Food was mediocre at best.
