A cold, rainy Sunday meant a new restaurant for lunch! This place is known for its burgers and for good reason. They were big, cooked perfectly and had so much flavor! We also had the Reuben egg rolls- highly recommend, and the potato soup! This friendly bar seemed like a great neighbor hangout as well as welcoming to us first timers. The other side has 4 pool tables, dart boards, video poker, & golden tee. I can't say I've ever had bad service here. As for food there is plenty to choose from. This place is so close to my house and I just tried it! I cannot get over how amazing the hand breaded tenders were and the mashed potatoes were Devine!!! It is a lovely pub atmosphere and there is ample parking as well. This is located in a strip mall right off the main road. They offer many weekday specials on both beer and food. This is an upscale pub that is interactive and fun. They have trivia nights, meat bingo, steak nights and live music. We went to see the wildhorse Creek band. There are a melting pot of bluegrass, country, soft rock and so much more. I am so happy I can enjoy a great meal, drinks and live music all in one place. The establishment is large with lots of seat at the bar, tables and high tops. The wait staff fast and friendly. Prices extremely reasonably especially for the long island and pickle back shots. Just had a great lunch here. Server was quick and very good at checking in on us. The potato soup was by far the best dish. The French dip was very good as well, the burger was also good, I couldn't imagine eating the whole thing it is pretty big. The fries were decent the chips were better. Came in for an early dinner. Place was just 25% full. Music was a little loud for my liking having to keep asking for my partner to repeat himself because it was hard to hear. Happy hour starts at 11am till 6pm. Food was really good except the chips which were cold. Place has a lot of seating inside and a few tables outside. Has a few games and pool tables. Not only did I want to like this place but I wanted to love it. I have to stick with like, unfortunately. It's a great place if you want an irish pub. They have the whole feel, the whole vibe of a pub. Whether you feel it's authentic irish is left up to you. I'll leave it as it feels like a nice pub. We went there for the food and, as far as bars go, it was actually pretty good. Fish & chips and shepherd's pie were the meals of the evening. The F&Cs were as expected, very good, very hot! The fries were hand cut (or so we think) and the portion was quite generous. Unfortunately I found the shepherd's pie lacking. There was no backbone to it. We make better at home, I would not order it again. But that is just personal taste, I guess. Others seem to like it quite a bit. Again, the portion was generous. Where TSPH is lacking is in service. I FULLY understand that when you are bartending there's a certain lag in service while the bartender deals with the entire place that's ordering drinks but, as the bartender was our server, we had to wait a LOT for any service. From the initial greeting to the food order, to refills, to checking on the table. I understand not wanting too much staff standing around twiddling thumbs but while we were there there was enough business to warrant another server. It was evening so I would hope it was just an off day and that they aren't always that lacking in service when it comes to using the bartender as waitstaff for the dining area. Other than that no complaints. We will definitely be back even though the pub is a good half hour away. Worth a second chance! read more

Haven't been to a pub in a while and finally stopped in to check out Two Shamrocks. A local pub and it's decor is the classic Irish fanfare. Came in for lunch and went with pub staples, burger and hot wings with fries. Burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Hot wings were way better than expected. Two Shamrocks has other great menu items like Shepherds Pie and Fish n Chips. Didn't get a chance to check out, but we're coming back to give them a try. Music was a variety of classic/ rock and whoever's playlist it was a good one. Service was great and Tables were serviced quickly and cleaned thoroughly. Always a good sign. We had a BIG jeep club meeting here on a Friday night, recently. We were assigned one server, Michelle, for our entire group, but she did a fantastic job! They were incredibly busy, but the owner and his wife stepped in to help their staff, which I really respect. Their menu had a GREAT selection of Irish dishes. I got the Reuben with extra sauerkraut. Definitely ask for a side of horseradish sauce if you like it. The portions were very generous. Can't wait to try the French dip and Reuben egg rolls... yes you read that right REUBEN EGG ROLLS. Two Shamrocks is a great dive bar. The bartender was really friendly. The patrons at the bar were looked like they were enjoying themselves. Our waitress was very good and she made good food recommendations. The food was outstanding. I had the steak sandwich and the fries. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare and a real surprise. I'll say that it was the best steak sandwich I've had. The fries were delicious and seasoned perfectly My wife had the Reuben and she loved it. These are our favorite bar foods and we were impressed. The place doesn't look like anything that would be special but we were pleasantly surprised to have not only a great meal but enjoyed the atmosphere and stayed for a few cocktails. This is a great local spot for a cold beer and some down home bar food. This isn't an elevated gastropub, but the service sets it apart! The staff makes this place feel like a pup you have been going to for decades even if it's your first time in! The beer selection is great, they have seasonal drinks and selections too! Placed a to-go order on 10/21 and am throughly disappointed. For an Irish pub, you'd expect more than bland, mediocre food Corned beef was in shreds and hard to chew due to all the fat. The beef had no flavor at all. There's maybe 3 pieces of cabbage in the whole container. The fish and chips are burnt and wasn't even identifiable at first. Incredibly disappointed. read more
