Pot pie
Rachel W.

I'd been seeing their pot pie special pop up on Facebook as weather was getting colder, finally stopped in to try it and was not disappointed. Good flaky crust, big hunks or real chicken (do wish this was cut up a bit more) and nice filling. Hit the spot on a chilly winter night. It does take 25 min to cook after ordering so just be aware if you are in a hurry. Also tied the ravioli as appetizer, they were good but marinara sauce had a weird sweetness to it. Service was good and prices reasonable for portions received. It does get pretty loud once it starts filling up.

Tonight was our first time in. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean, bright and lively bar that was family friendly! For a Thursday they were busy but had enough help to keep up with the crowd. Our food was served quickly, hot and delish! Large portions and reasonable prices! We will return!

If my wife was posting this it would surely be a star higher because she loved the Monte Cristo while my fish was actually tough because it was overcooked. That being said I'll try another item on the menu but definitely not the fish and chips. The wait was exceptionally long considering how few people were in the restaurant, the waitress was friendly enough. It's definitely bar food to me which can be hit or miss and while it was a miss for me I'll try it again, considering it's a bar it's pretty nice inside.

Cool bar and grill with soccer paraphernalia. Horse races and hockey on the tv's. They were super busy with a large, holiday party going and service was still attentive and friendly. I ordered off the cocktail menu, a black cherry cottleville coolie. It tasted like an Italian soda, with a little kick. All 3 of us ordered the smothered chicken with blackened chicken that came with mashed potatoes and gravy, and grilled veggies. I believe the gravy to be cornstarch thickened rather than flour, for the gluten intolerant. I ate the gravy bc i didn't know to request without - no ill effects so far iykyk. I got a carryout double mushroom burger for my son at home. no complaints.

Food was very good, plenty of choices and the service was great. Very clean and would recommend. We had the tenders and the monte cristo and it was a lot of food.

Great food, very large portions, served fast, in a friendly casual environment. Been for lunch. I'm sure it's a fun spot in the evening.

First time at JPs! We got dinner and it was great. They were super busy so our food took awhile. Toasted ravs are good, burger was alright seemed like it was sitting out for a bit. Chicken tenders were SO GOOD! Definitely the best thing we got. Ambiance was very much a pub/bar with lots of TVs - great for watching Sunday football, etc.

Food and bar service was great and they were about the only place staffed during a big snow storm.

Two Shamrocks Public House - Bert's Burger (Brisket/Chuck/Short Rib) with Swiss and Mushrooms and fresh cut fries

Fries and house made chips are good too but heavily seasoned. I enjoyed my chicken wings. The grouper sandwich smelled extremely fishy (possibly had gone bad) and we couldn't eat it. I would not recommend.

Wear Green if in the spirit, and order some tasty (signature) Irish Potato Soup if in the mood. Overall, 4.0+ rated experience for homemade foods, friendly service, relaxed ambience and a great meeting spot for family or friends! Expect to pay $13-15pp for a meal. Today I tried a bowl of creamy Potato Soup, topped with Bacon and Cheese - delicious! Oh yea, paired well with a cold brew too. For entrees, ordered the Bert's house burger (combo chuck/brisket/short rib) with Swiss and Mushrooms - hits the spot! Comes with a generous portion of fresh cut fries yum! Also ordered a French Dip (to-go), with shaved beef, Swiss, au jus and a horseradish cream. They were light-staffed today, so service was slower, but with a good pint and decent food, just relax and enjoy the atmosphere! Many other menu items to choose, so I will return soon to try their other mouth-watering meals. ENJOY!
