I am from out of town. Large parking lot with a ton of spaces to be. It was 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. Looking for a place to grab a quick bloody Mary on a Sunday. Walked into the establishment and found the bar seating was somewhat full so we walked into the high top area but did see two end seats at the bar so decided to change route and head there. It was evident the bartender had seen us when we were walking the restaurant area but took her time to acknowledge us when we sat at the bar. Ordered a bloody Mary, Bacardi and Coke. We were just drinking. Not eating today. Drinks came, small interaction with polite conversation and that was it. We finished our drinks expecting to order another round but it was made apparent since we were not a local today we were invisible. Therefore we asked for our bill and left. We understand she was waiting on other people and very personable just not with us. Will not be back. The atmosphere from an outsider perspective was not warm and friendly. I felt this was a neighborhood clicky type of atmosphere. None of the staff was engaged with us in conversation. I personally did NOT feel welcome. This was a business transaction only event I guess. It was just give me your order, pay your money and leave. A lot of people like that maybe I don't know but not me. I feel when you're at a bar, you kind of want that interaction with the bartender and staff to make you feel like you're part of something. Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but that's what I felt. Food: is good and reasonably priced. Service: is usually good. If the servers are having conversations behind the bar with the bartender or bar customer, good luck to you... Ambiance: Not at all good! The loudness is overwhelming. Country music playing, the 'pickup truck crowd' starts arriving around 3:00PM and drinks constantly until about 6:00 or so, getting louder by the hour (or drink). Customers with tiny babies come in regularly.... Maybe this atmosphere is attractive to the customer base, but not for strangers new to the area. read more

Went there for happy hour with a buddy and it was such a bad experience! The unruly people around the bar, swearing and making fools of themselves... One guy, twice spanked another guy as hard as he could... just a bunch of adults, acting like children. These fools were shouting so loud... We couldn't even have a normal conversation. This joint has a new large bar, allowing more seating for patrons. The bar is very nice. The joint is very clean. I have been here a hand full of times. Thought it was a bbq place before I came here because of the name but I'm glad they had a variety of food! Their sandwiches were fantastic and they have a huge selection of tap beer! We don't live close, but we are regulars. We love the bacon cheese burger. The meat is so fresh. Absolutely delicious. We upgrade the side to onion rings. The sauce served with the onion rings really makes them awesome. Chicken wings are are really good and the salads are first rate. First time visiting Hog's Haus and pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service and great food. Typically bar food, but well prepared and great quality. Tried the wings with the dry rub, really good. Solid pizza and of course, the beer was cold. The atmosphere is a little lacking, but comfortable. Not sure what the Hog's Haus name connection is, as I was expecting a biker bar, but will make that my challenge to find out on the next visit. Will definitely visit again. read more

Stopped in here last night. It wasn't terrible, but it was not worth writing a letter home to mom either. The place is very loud, due to the floor being tiled and zero carpet anywhere that I could see. It was odd and almost made me feel like I was in a gym or something. They definitely need to install some carpet to make the place seem less hollow (even though it is a fairly small space). But it is just like your garden variety neighborhood sports bar. The service was a bit slow. There seemed to be an adequate number of servers for the space and the number of customers, but for whatever reason, it took awhile to get our orders in and such. The speed of the food coming back though was reasonable. The food itself was OK. I had a burger with fries and got my burger with the rest of the food for the party, but my fries were delayed since they didn't make them with the rest of the order. In addition, the seasoning on the fries was weak. They definitely need to crank up the seasoning a notch or two. Would I come back? Maybe. Would I go out of my way to do so? No. There are far more places just like this closer to my house and such. There is nothing special about this place and nothing that makes it stand out. read more

We went here last night with some friends and the service was great. We ordered wings and Toasted Ravioli for an appetizer and they were both very good. for dinner, I ordered the hot dog, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. It was freaking awesome. I have been there a couple of times. The reviewer who stated that the place was finished as cheaply as possible, hit the nail on the head. I had a cheesesteak there, and it was ok, but nothing spectacular. My last visit, was the last time I will go there. I showed up on wing night with my family. There were no tables cleared, and we stood at the entrance for nearly 10 minutess waiting to be seated. A waitress said she would seat us after she cleared a table. While she was clearing the table, a guy just walks in and sits at the table by himself. I expected her to let him know that others were waiting for that table. No such luck. We left and ate at a place that we discovered on our way to Wing Stop, called K Pub and Grill?? ( Hwy K and Pheasant point near the YMCA). There are plenty of TVs to watch whatever event may be happening. Expect service that's longer than typical; though, as there are usually only a couple of servers. read more

Hog's Haus is such good spot for lunch. It's really a gem in a little strip mall off O'fallon road. You walk in and it seems like any locally owned sports bar, but the food..... YES. YES. YES. You really can't go wrong here. My go to is the buffalo shrimp salad. In general, I love buffalo anything, and then to add shrimp to the mix?! Yeah, I'm sold. Their salads are pretty big, hard for me to finish in one sitting. So it's always nice they give you a huge thing of dressing on the side. They don't skimp on that. While we're on the buffalo train, their buffalo chicken wrap, buffalo chicken salad, and buffalo chicken pizza are both excellent as well. You can give a couple different options as sides with your sandwich or wrap, and I really like the onion straws here. They are served with this addictive, tangy and creamy dipping sauce. Fridays I think they have a fish fry special. Haven't gotten it, but it smells and looks good! A great appetizer here is the white chicken nachos. Also addictive. I really can't wait to keep coming back here. It's crazy because I want to try new menu items but I have absolutely adored everything I have tried here so it's hard not to just order the same things over and over again! read more

My wife and I visited Hog's Haus on Tuesday night. When we walked in there were about 6 people at the bar and about15 in the main dining area. We sat there for about 10 minutes and nobody waited on us. Finally my wife got up and walked up to the bar and the bartender T.C apologized and said she would be right over. When she came over she once again said sorry and explained that she was the only employee for the entire restaurant ( besides the cooks). So she had to serve everyone , make drinks for everyone , bus tables for everyone. She kept a great attitude the whole 2 hours we were there. The food was good and seems like a nice place. The ownership of management needs to look at staffing. We normally would have walked out with the time we had to wAit but because of this amazing overworked employee T C we stayed so she could earn more tips. Give her a raise, after Tuesday. I have tried multiple times to enjoy this place as it is right down the street. On my last trip the waitress was working like a dog while the owner or manager sat at the end of the bar and offered no assistance. The food was nothing special but then again it is a bar and you shouldn't expect anything more than bar food. There are many other better choices close by. Believe me, I will try it again in the near future as I want it to be great but after four or five times I'm about to give up. read more

Drove by this place a few times, wanted to stop in after I saw they had been getting more traffic. Quick summary: Food was surprisingly good, but the space is lacking. Pros: Normal menu, normal drinks. Nothing missing you'd expect to see at a corner sports bar. I'm surprised how much of the food was homemade. It seemed like the onion rings and potato chips were fresh made, and the grilled chicken wasn't just a frozen chicken breast but actually fresh chicken. For O'Fallon / Weldon Springs, this is an accomplishment. It's sad how much stuff out here is just out of the freezer and into the deep fryer / onto the grill. My food was much better than average for the area. Happy hour specials were decent prices, especially the burger special. Middle of the Road: The person in my group who had a burger said it was just average. Same with the service. They missed one of two special entree orders, but weren't terrible. Prices are reasonable for the area. Cons: They finished the interior of the place as cheaply as possible, and it shows. No booths on the restaurant side, tables were already wobbly, TV feeds looked a little weak (wonder if they need a power booster on the signal or if the wiring is just cheap), walls already showing wear one year in, etc. The TV setup was just ok because the space isn't really conducive to being a sports bar. They do have NFL Sunday Ticket and a pizza / wings buffet on Sundays though. Also, this is not an adventurous menu, so if you're looking to try something you've never really had before, try elsewhere. It's a sports bar, what do you expect? I'd definitely go back for the food. I was very happy with my meal. If you're turned off by grabbing food at sports bars, give this one a shot. That's a rough location there though. If he was on K they'd get better drive by business and a decent lunch business. Over by 94, I don't know how they stay open. It was definitely a pleasant surprise for the area. If I was in the mood to watch sports though, I'd be more likely to head to Buffalo Wild Wings over on Highway K or up to the Sports Bar at Ameristar in St. Charles County, or if I really wanted to go out of the way, The Post. read more

I have my meetings with my sales team 2x a month at the Hog Haus. The owners are great and the staff are quick and attentive! Everything is good burgers, wings, chicken tenders, you won't go wrong. I'm surprised this place is rated so low. Wan tied to get a beer and a bite to eat without smelling like smoke afterwards, so strolled in. Ordered a massive burger and it was pretty good. Friends had salads and Philly cheese all said it was good. Service was fine, it's a bar so not sure what people are expecting. All in all no problems. read more
