The catfish sandwich was amazing. Vintage atmosphere. Service was quick and polite. Will go there again.

Have gone here twice now, first time was for lunch and then came in for breakfast. Great spot for food and pricing is decent for the amount and quality too. For lunch, we got the burger and the cod fish and got their fries. For breakfast, we go the breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and a custom omelette. Cheeseburger and fries 4/5 - Burger was pretty big, it wasn't dry either. A little salty for my liking but other than that, it was a decent burger. The fries were seasoned and again a little salty but not bad! Cod fish - I did not get to try this personally but my friend throughly enjoyed it. It was a big sandwich too and they gave plenty of tartar sauce. Breakfast burrito 4/5 - Big portion and loaded with lots of filling, flavour was not too bad either. The hashbrowns were slightly greasy so I didn't really enjoy it as much. Omelette - Pretty standard, my friend enjoyed this one as well. Overall, would probably try their dinner next time. They also have TVs so would be good to watch the hockey game! read more

Now this is a local bar and grill! We came here for the fish fry since we heard so many good things. We ordered some fried shrimp too because my little loves shrimp. 1) No greeting upon entry - never having been here, staff looked right through us - asked where we should sit. 2) "Hostess" apologizes says they are waiting for their server - just then the rear door opens, "There she is!" 3) The server reeked of marijuana (must have been in weed break she had been on). 4) Two tenderloins and fries w/sodas was our order. 5) Tenderloins tasted of day old grease from several days prior. 6) The frozen fries were seasoned with this same crude oil. 7) The Diet Pepsi tasted wonderful, when there was liquid in my glass. So this is a regular for myself and my husband. We have been for breakfast, lunch, dinner, just drinks, you name it! From the outside it looks like a saloon! You kind of get that vibe when you walk in. Wood floors, bar, booths... Today we went for the first Friday during lent and had the fried catfish. For $15(ish) this was a really great amount of food! Our bartender was Gabby, who we almost always see there. She is the sweetest person you'll ever meet and will do anything to accommodate you. Keep in mind, with any restaurant that if it's busy, they may only have one server. And that server may be the bartender also. I promise she will get to you and it will be worth it. Then I took a bite and ended up with a metal wire bristle from a grill brush in my mouth... I'm just glad that I didn't swallow it. Reopened this week after being closed for unknown reasons. Some changes to the menu - mainly price increases (understandable) and removal of some fan favorites. Server was attentive but don't arrive hungry because it will take over an hour for food to make it to your table. It's typical bar food which fits the vibe. Atmosphere is still small town bar feel. It is extremely warm so be prepared that the AC doesn't cool the building well. read more

Service was absolutely terrible. If you don't sit right in front of the bar you will be forgotten. We arrived around 11:40 pm for lunch. We had a party of 5...bottle beer, soft drinks and sandwiches. I ordered a lemon drop martini and they brought me straight vodka with a lemon in a martini glass. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes we finally received our food....no napkins, no silverware, no condiments, some of our order was forgotten. Several other tables walked out due to lack of service. If you cannot service tables in a timely manner you might want to consider putting tables on a wait or closing off sections. read more

Sorry but not impressed. Onion ring appetizer took 30 minutes and was lukewarm. Came out at the same time as our pizza which left a lot to be desired. Honestly, I've had much better frozen pizza than what was served here. Next time we're headed across the street to the Grotto Grill which has outstanding food. read more
