I have had Moudy's on my to-do list for a few years. Every time I see a photo of their calzones on the internet I want to go and I finally got there. I ordered a pepperoni calzone and a cup of the potato soup. My dinner date ordered a burger. The calzone was a frozen dough puck folded in half and inside was low moisture mozzarella, pepperoni, and "alpine" sauce which was a code for food-service Italian salad dressing. It was served with another cup of "alpine" sauce and a cup of marinara sauce that was clearly from a #10 can and had that acidic metal taste. The best part of this was how they cut the dough on the top of the calzone so that there were slits in it then brushed the top with some sort of fake garlic butter. It made it nice and brown! It's a lot of food and a reasonable price but really nothing special and the crazy salad dressing inside and as a dip is bananas. The cup of potato soup was very good. The burger was fine. This Bar & Grill is the destination for our Christmas party. This is a strip mall style bar with a restaurant to fry hot wings, toasted raviolis and cook pizzas with occasional salads. This straight forward menu is offered. Big screen TVs, a few pool tables are scattered around the tables in the back area. This is our new go to spot of cold beer, great food, and awesome service! We love the atmosphere. All staff treats you like a regular when you walk in. Food was good for bar food, nothing special. They were out of onion rings and tater tots. The credit card fee is wrong and that came off the tip. Not fair to the waitress but get another job at a place not ripping off customers. My wife had a salad and water. Why should we pay for the fryer and beer cooler if we didn't have a beer or fries? Same twisted logic. Establishments charging a credit card fee are taking advantage of the covid slowdown to enhance profits and should be avoided. We need to boycott these places. read more

The cannelloni bites are hot but the marinara sauce was ice cold We've been looking for a good bar near our home and have been here a few times. The biggest problem is the service. They never seem to have enough servers. Today The bartender was covering the bar and all the patrons on the bar side because there was a benefit happening on the other side. So needless to say, we had to wait to get drinks. If the service was better, we'd patronize them more. Not bad, just okay. My family and I have gone a few times. We like the calzones there. They are a decent size and can fill you up quickly. Thus, the calzones are the only real thing I can rave about. The menu just has the standard run-of-the-mill bar food. So there really isn't much that makes the place special. Service can be spotty at time. We had a girl pass by with a pitcher of water twice and forgot our table both times. Another time we've gone we've had good service. Guess it depends on the night. We just had my fathers surprise retirement party there this Saturday. We had two bartenders and they were FANTASTIC. They were super quick, very sweet and they managed to keep the place looking tidy the entire party! You couldn't even tell that there was over 50 people, half being first responders (it was a firefighter retirement, things can get crazy). The food was incredible. From the Moment we walked in Courtney was rude to us. We weren't going to say anything but then she was rude to 4 more people at our bridal shower and we witnessed her be rude to another gentleman. After complaining to the owner, Courtney then came to our side of the bar and called me a fucking bitch then walked away. I confronted her and she denied it then proceeded to call me more names. Tried to call and let them know we would be having about 20-25 people coming and going from 5 to 8 for a going away party and the owner told me that she can not accommodate a group of that size, she will not have enough food. They defiantly were understaffed waiting on food and drinks took for ever. I think it might have something to do with being so new and working out the problems. This is the second time I've been here. The first time was bad but the last chance they got was the worst. The bartenders were rude when we first walked in. We played darts, and after 10:30pm the bartenders stacked every table around us with chairs so the whole area around us was shut down. By 11:30 they told us we had to close our tab. Now mind you we were a table of 3, played darts the whole time we were there and felt like the bartenders were trying to shut the bar down by 12. At 11:45 two people with mops, mopped the whole floor around our table and asked us to relocate. We were looking for a new "spot" to bring our friends but will not be back. The bartenders were too into their phones and gossiping about other people to help patrons around the bar...... there's probably a reason the bar looks dead after 11.
