I've been here many nights and have had dinner there with a large group of friends BUT I had never had any food there past say 9pm? Well, it was after 10pm and I ordered some chicken nuggets/bites with a side of sweet chili sauce and man!!! It was so hot and flavorful! Fish and crew are always good to me and make sure nobody is clowning around at their bar so I do love getting out there for karaoke, live music or to grab drinks with my friends. read more

This is a cool local little bar and restaurant. This review is based on a few less than ideal impressions. Overall, cool little local bar sums it up. The staff were busy most of the time and overall the clientele and staff seemed unaware of new customers trying to find a seat and order a libation. To everyone's defense, this was talking place during the hockey playoffs. Although, To get someone to actually come to the few tables is seemingly not in the cards or I did not speak nightshift. Restaurant: One word: confusing and microminature with a few seats in the loft and the cocktail tables also are restaurant seating. I did not order food and I was confused by the process and the disaster of putting live music in the main path for the bar and restaurant. Space is the problem and if the layout needs refactoring if even possible. Just not ideal all around but you all made it work! The karaoke crowd: seems loyal and some great singers but to new singers, not very user friendly. In fact some of the attendees are pretty rude. It's not ideal for karaoke as the layout makes no sense. Square footage is at a deficit so in all fairness it's understandable sort of. Plus: The KJS are a wife husband or partner team that make the night. Total class act. Coaches, cheerleaders and entertainers. Well done! Great people from the very first impression. The owners daughter who took care of me like an actual customer. My impression, solid upbringing, matter of fact and very direct. Perfect for managing bar expectations The problem statement for this bar is space or lack there of and a seemingly rude or just inept karaoke crowd and some less desired regulars. I believe there are just a few eggs ruining the vibe the mix but you be the judge because they seem to be judging anyone singing as there is a crowd sitting 2 feet from the singer and criticizing while they are singing. Rude jackasses! lol Hard to read without going all the time . I actually overheard a regular complain he could not stand when new one-off singers show up and sing without his approval. Lol WTF Space: the lack of opportunity for physical space. Oh and you also walk through the cloud of the crowd of smokers sitting in a makeshift smoking area that impedes customers from walking in with a possible positive experience. Move that for customer satisfaction would be my inclination. Also karaoke regulars, you are not on Americas got Talent, there is no competition in karaoke, there is not following an act in karaoke. The loose Japanese translation of karaoke for those less worldly: Get F$@&ed up and sing! Actual literal translation: be merry and sing! Wtf am I saying: 1. Never make fun of anybody getting the nerve to step out of the there comfort zone. I think the owners and KJs nip that in the bud but still who raised some of you troglodytes? No class whatsoever and it's unfortunate that manners or what we used say be kind, not nice! Meaning, courtesy goes a long way. 2. Even better: some actually sit 4 feet away from you and actually get annoyed when someone other than the regular crowd performs. Some will actually try to have the most obnoxious dialogue while singers sing by talking over the singer and making a rude point of it. 3. I honestly do not sing for applause, I sing for fun but I expect anyone engaged to the karaoke section to actually bite their lip and applaud or say and do nothing. Who the F$&" raised you people!? lol sad, just sad! lol One word inept!!!! I have experienced in the several attempts to sing, no acknowledgment of unknown singers other than the KJS and staff. The crowd is kinda wonky? Lol 4. You are not trying out for a talent show and this is not a competition! Succinctly put, karaoke is for fun, please keep it friendly, kind and welcoming and inviting to new singers. The KJs get it, but perhaps nightshift karaoke night regular patrons may need to review performance and audience etiquette, you seemingly; as a whole, do not get being polite, dare I say poised. Classless sums it up but this is St. Charles and some of you are Hoosiers! lol That's a stretch for all of us in the St. Chuck area as we do keep it real good bad or otherwise. I'm not the exception and this was an impression and not vetted though confirmatory visits. I want to chock the whole experience as less than ideal due to logistical issues with the playoffs, volume of patrons, and perhaps just off nights! Likelyhood to return: 75% as I plan to stop in here and there to see if my impression was just that and giving everyone the benefit of doubt is the path forward. I rather go somewhere that sucks less for karaoke. read more

I am a regular customer for the last few years. I have never tried anything on the menu that wasn't delicious and fairly priced. Their happy hour is one of the best in the area, in my opinion. They do a good job with programming and I get consistently good service. The daytime crowd is quiet--I've stopped in and worked on my laptop many times over lunch. Then, the nighttime crowd is super fun. Live music two days per week, and karaoke two days per week. Thursday ladies nights are one of my favorites-- hard to beat $2 wells! I highly recommend this spot for a casual neighborhood bar. read more

Poor service, waited too long for food and refills on beverages. Ordered pizza and it was subpar at best. Saw a new menu online and it did not live up to the hype. Might give them another chance on the hopes they were just having an off day. It was not busy, so I dont think that was the issue. read more

Honestly, if it wasn't for COVID-19, this would definitely be my go-to bar! My friends and I haven't seen each other for a long time, so we decided to meet and catch up at this place. It's like the pandemic doesn't exist. Nobody is wearing masks. Customers and Servers are all walking around talking to each other without caring. Besides from being nervous about COVID, staff members were all friendly. Definitely a fun place to meet people. Food was great. Bar fully stocked. We also went on a Karaoke night, so it was fun watching people sing. Convenient Parking. Reasonable prices. Pool Tables in a room that connects to the bar is available too. However, only having 1 bathroom sucked (not gender neutral). I would've given less stars because I feel that it's carelessness and inconsiderate to not enforce masks during this time, whether St. Charles county give a crap or not! But I gave 4 because that's what I would've given if it wasn't for COVID. After few drinks, I eventually got the courage to take off my mask and meet people, but completely regretted it and was freaking out the next day when I sobered up. (LOL) read more

Nancy and her staff always take care of me and practically have my drink ready when I walk in the door. Cajun chicken quesadilla is super addictive. The chicken Parmesan special was also awesome. I highly recommend this place for bands as we love to listen to our favorite local ones play here. This is a hometown kind of bar and if you get to know them, they will always treat you well!! I stop in for lunch from time to time. I like their burgers. Always fresh and good. Appears to have a regular group of patrons that know each other, at the time I drop in (Noon-3pm) The bartenders have always been friendly and provided nice conversation and service. I haven't ever tried dinner. I like to see the independently owned places make it okay in St. Peters and St. Charles. It's a local bar. It's not the Ritz, but it's clean. read more

This is the place you should be. Great drink prices, great staff, good food. And the best karaoke on both sides of the Mississippi. A lot of live, local bands and open mic nights. The staff have always been quick to serve us and I can't think of a time that we really had to wait for service, even when busy. It's now non-smoking, which I personally prefer. I have been here twice. One time was for Karaoke and the other one was Rock and Roll Bingo (on Tuesdays). Both times, the bartender was fantastic. The bar seating was full as well as numerous tables. The bartender Shane was amazing. He kept the drinks flowing and was quite nice. Rock and Roll Bingo was really fun & something different to do. The food was better than expected for bar food. I tried this place on a Wednesday night. There was a pretty good band but loud. I had a blue cheese burger and a night shift salad. They were delicious! There is a room where you can play pool and an upstairs room where people play poker. Drinks were priced well during happy hour. . Although I love the food I will not return because of the smoke. I thought smoking wasn't permitted in bars and restaurants in St Charles county? Nothing in the reviews noted this. It may make a difference for some people. Was the best bar and grill that I ever attended in my entire life. The atmosphere is great and there were good people to talk to. At first glance it looks kind of small, but it was actually huge. The food is by far the best bar and grill food that I have ever had. The menu is diverse. Try the cheesesticks and the philly cheese steak because they are amazing. Went a few times and would not recommend. Waited far longer than I should have for service each time. The bartender was far more interested in chatting with people that seemed to be regulars than serving everyone. Wonderful food but horrible ownership! The day bartender is awesome and really connects with the costumers. The owner however is very rude at times and treats people like she is doing them a favor not giving them service that they pay for.
