The best Thai food in the Saint Louis area! So flavorful!…read more Addie's Thai not only provides a friendly, professional full service dining experience but also puts utmost flavor and intention into their beautiful dishes. I've worked at Thai restaurants in St. Louis including Chao Baan, King and I, and the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood (before 2022 sale) so I know what authentic and flavorful Thai food should taste like. Friends and I have been searching for Thai food as good as the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood and I'm happy to say I've finally found it! We happened to try this restaurant because my sister asked if the family could meet somewhere "different" for her birthday. The restaurant staff helped us make a reservation for 10 people in their semi-private dining room. We had kids with us and they were also happy with the food! We were impressed not only by the food but also by the white tablecloths, real cloth napkins, and ornate traditional décor throughout the restaurant. We selected wine by the glass and cocktails from their full-bar list on the menu. We started with an array of appetizers from the menu including wings, dumplings, spring rolls, and fresh rolls. We agreed our favorites were the dumplings and spring rolls. We also shared entrées Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Red Curry, Angry Beef, Thai Fried Rice and Vegetable Stir Fry. Our favorites were Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Phad Thai. I tend to judge a Thai restaurant on the thickness and flavor of their curry and the color, flavor, and sauciness of their Phad Thai. Both dishes checked all of the boxes I'd qualify as 5 stars. I'm so happy the Addie's Thai curry is thick and flavorful while having the perfect spice balance. It's my pet peeve when Thai restaurants water down curry or overly sweeten it because they want to cater to the average American palette. Addie's Thai does not do that thankfully. The Phad Thai had a gorgeous golden brown color and the flavor clearly indicated they use traditional Tamarind in the sauce. So delicious! We took home so many leftovers simply because their portion sizes are so large! Come with an appetite! We are so happy to have found such a delicious Thai restaurant in West St. Louis County and the birthday girl left very satisfied with our meal.

Good Food, Terrible Service…read more We used to consider ourselves loyal customers of Eddie's Thai House, but after our experience today, we will not be returning. We ordered takeout and were given the wrong food. When we went back to get the correct vegetarian dish, after calling ahead and being told it would be ready for pickup, we discovered that it had not even been prepared. To make matters worse, instead of apologizing for the mistake and inconvenience, the manager argued with us, was extremely rude, and acted as though we were imposing on her by asking for the food we had actually ordered. Mistakes happen, and we would have understood that. What is unacceptable is the way customers are treated when a mistake needs to be corrected. Good food cannot make up for such poor service and a complete lack of courtesy. Sadly, a loyal customer relationship has been lost over an experience that could have been handled so easily with a simple apology and a little professionalism.

We ordered on our phones via a QR code and was also able to pay from our phones (so convenient!) We got the lunch portions of the Chicken Pad Thai and Kra Prow Ground Chicken and also a Papaya Salad. They were all delicious! We got the Chicken Pad Thai very hot and the Kra Prow hot and I'm glad the dishes were actually spicy. Very good flavor and the dishes weren't sweet like most Thai restaurants in the US. Will be back again!

This place changed ownership a year or two ago and it's just a completely different restaurant now…read more The food is no longer as good and the portions are way smaller. $15 for a baby amount of chicken and a bowl of vegetables that's mediocre at best? Seriously it's impressive how they took such a great spot and just completely ruined it. I don't know why you'd ever come here. It's sad because wildwood doesn't have a lot of good food spots, and this place used to be a local savior. Dear business owner, for the sake of the wildwood food scene and because I know this place can't been doing well, see below for how to fix this place: 1. Stop running this place like a cheap 2008 Chinese restaurant. For $8.50 I can get more food that tastes better from Panda Express 3 minutes down the road. You're not going to win in the budget category. 2. Wildwood is a wealthy area and wants another mid-tier restaurant like el maguey where you can have a good meal for $20. Charging $15 for slop is a losing strategy vs. charging $18 or even $20 for something pretty good. 3. Increase menu prices $2-$3 each, double the protein and increase the quality. The thin, dry, sad baby chicken portions are undesirable at any price point, I promise. 4. Fix your thin, watery curry. I'm not even sure what's happening here but it needs to change. 5. Increase non-protein portions by like 30% so that a single entree is enough for lunch or dinner. They currently are not.

We scrolled through the pictures before ordering thinking they would be representative of what we were getting. Not even close. All noodles, level 4 spice was definitely mild. They used chopped baby carrots, undercooked and beyond the carrots no other veggies existed. The dish should be renamed noodles with dark soy sauce. Even the noodles were dry. We also got the papaya salad which we had a many places and rarely disappoints. I guess the first for everything. We got it in level 3 spice and it was mostly sweet which was super surprising. It's usually a little spicy and sour... not this one. Do not recommend, good luck on your choice.

I know every restaurant is different, but it makes a difference when you can get a smaller size. I went with the Thai fried rice and added shrimp. The dish itself was pretty good but lacked flavor. Thai Mukda is a little restaurant in a strip mall. It seats about 24 people. We walked in and a person behind the counter came out to seat us and give us menus. I had an appetizer as my entree and didn't need to choose. My husband chose medium and it was just a little bit of a kick. We didn't wait long for our food to be brought out. It was SO good! We also had a little sweet bite afterward. We were very full when we left! I honestly don't know what was better - the food or the service! It's a family owned restaurant and everyone was so kind and wanted to be sure we were enjoying our meal, etc. We will absolutely be back!

She checked in a couple of times while I was ordering and waiting, asking how my day was going and even offering a to-go water with my meal--small touches that made a great impression. While waiting, I noticed the staff taking care of dine-in guests, and they seemed very attentive to their patrons' needs. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, with around seven tables, giving it a cozy feel. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken. As part of the lunch special, it came with a small bowl of soup, crab rangoon, and a fried spring roll. Overall, the food tasted very good and was seasoned perfectly to my liking. The only downside was the crab rangoon--it didn't have much filling, possibly due to it leaking out during frying. Aside from that minor issue, everything else was enjoyable. I'll definitely be back to try another dish soon.

We placed a takeout order and it was ready in 15 minutes. The staff were super friendly when I came to pick it up, even cracking jokes about me misspelling the pickup name. The Pad Thai was delicious. It definitely leaned on the sweeter side, which may not be for everyone, but we really enjoyed it. The chicken was especially good--it tasted super fresh and like actual, good-quality chicken rather than the bland or processed-tasting chicken you sometimes get with takeout. The hibachi steak & chicken was phenomenal. The meat was so tender and had a really nice flavor. The sauce was sweet, but thankfully not cloying or overly heavy. This was probably our favorite thing we ordered and something we'd absolutely get again. The appetizer sampler was probably the weakest part of the meal. The crab Rangoon and chicken satay were both pretty dry and could have used a little more moisture. That said, the shrimp roll was super tasty and made up for some of the disappointment with the other appetizers. Overall, Kabuki Thai & Sushi was a good experience. It wasn't perfect, but the main dishes were really enjoyable and the portions were big. There was enough that we liked that we'd likely order from here again. 7.5/10
