I ordered this through DoorDash so I have no opinion on service and interior design, but wow! One of the crappiest food I've ever ordered for a Japanese curry Katsu. Sauce is super soupy. It isn't thick as it's supposed to be. It's literally watery. Katsu is extremely dry. There wasn't enough rice as it's in a Chinese container box (weird, isn't it supposed to be Japanese or Thai food? Major disappointing. I don't know if it's worth going there again to eat in person. I ended up at Kabuki Sushi & Thai on Christmas day for dinner. They had a very nice crowd in here considering it was a major holiday and a pretty low key small restaurant. My dinner date is vegan and they did a decent job accommodating him but I don't think they fully understood what vegan means. We ordered a tofu appetizer, several vegetable maki rolls, and an order of pad thai with no egg, no fish sauce, and tofu as the protein. Everything was good. I think it would have been better had we not omitted all of the flavorful ingredients. I think they have a great menu. Some of the rolls were fun and creative. I'll be back! read more

I went with the all-you-can-eat lunch for $15 - miso soup (3.75/5): pretty decent. Traditional. - Thai spring rolls (3.75/5): serving of 3. Seemed freshly made vs frozen. Lots of cabbage. Decent. - tempura shrimp roll: (4.25/5) really good. I would order this again. - yellowtail spicy roll: (3.25/5) Ok. Not spicy. Texture of the fish knocked it back for me. We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday. The place was almost empty. We had three rolls which were okay. We also ordered the spicy tuna wontons. They tasted like canned tuna that had been fried in a wonton wrap. Really bad but whatever. Now it's 6:40 and we had a couple drinks, we were finishing our food, and the waiter asked us to move so he could seat a large group of college girls. The place was still fairly empty but apparently he wanted our spot. At that point we just asked for the check and left. He asked about our dinner and I told him about the wontons which he offered to remove and I agreed. However he did not remove them and asked me again. At that point we just paid and left. Placed an online order for three appetizers. There is an order received text message stating that it's a thirty minutes wait. I arrived 10 minutes early expecting to wait. But my order was bagged and ready, the only one visable on the end of the counter, no other customers were inside. She asked for the name on the order, I responded and spelled out my name. She then read off the order number so quickly, I thought it was my phone number. She frustrated, loudly read it off two more times. Stormed away and then back, pointed at the number and said I can just confirm the food listed is what I ordered. All that within a moment of walking in. As a first time customer I didn't appreciate being yelled at when it was obviously my food from my name and lack of other orders. As for the food. This may be the type of place that somethings are great and others are meh. I must have ordered the meh. The tofu was way too thick, had no scallions which were listed on the description. If it had bonito flakes I didn't see or taste them. The rangoons were small but okay. The Thai spring rolls were as expected but also small. So small I ate them before I thought to take a picture. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! my only request, and why I didn't leave 5 stars is because of the prawns in my Tom Kha soup. if you half cooked the prawns and threw three them is right before service, the heat from the broth would finish them off instead of making them dry and rubbery. I have been eating here for over 15 years, never once have I had an issue eating in. The only time something was messed up was when we ordered out, and usually that was due to the drive. My personal favorites are the Chicken Katsu bento, and the Sushi bento. Plenty of food, for a solid price! Staff has always been fast, and friendly. I just ordered Kabuki S&T for lunch through a delivery app. This was a risk considering I had never eaten there before, but I wanted to try somewhere different for sushi. To my pleasant surprise the 3-roll lunch special for around $13 came with three full size rolls, a side house salad, and a warm cup of Miso soup! What a deal! I got a fried Philly roll, a California roll, and a spicy tuna roll. The rolls were all good, and there were many more choices to select from for the lunch special. Most of the sushi was fine. Salmon was as expected, tempura rolls where soggy, but that was probably on Uber. Meal got thrown away half way through, however, after trying to eat the supposed "Fatty Tuna" Nigiri. One of the piece of "Fatty Tuna" was 2/3 "fish" 1/3 inedible, unchewable tissue. A chopstick couldn't pierce it. I'd attach a gif of me trying to stab through the "fatty tuna" if yelp allowed. No Sushi Chef should have let it out of the kitchen. One thing I know with Sushi, don't trust or eat food from a sushi restaurant that has obvious issues with their food quality.
