This is my go-to place for drunken noodles. They have recently added a lot of new options to their menu like sushi but I still order my same dish every time. The service is quick and friendly, no matter how busy they are. They are attentive and efficient. They do drunken noodles consistently every time. I get chicken but you can get beef, shrimp, and tofu as well. I really like tomato but don't like carrot, they are always willing to sub it for me. I really can't believe we hadn't tried Pad Thai StL previously...what a miss on our part. BUT NOW WE KNOW! We gave Pad Thai a go the other night and loved it. While many Thai places have gone to carry out only Pad Thai is a delightful restaurant, plenty of seating and great service. It was busy though so I can see how it would fill up. The staff works fast and they get everyone taken care of so all good. And the food...man, was it good! First, Pad Thai does serve alcohol so beer, wine and maybe (? Not certain) some mixed drinks are available. And our favorite Thai beer, Singha, was on the menu! Two please along with spring rolls...great way to start. My better half had pad Thai with tofu, no heat. I had drunken noodles with tofu lvl 3. Both were so good! My dish did not stand a chance, it was awesome and the heat level was perfect. My wife was able to take some of her pad Thai home for a nice lunch the following day. We are hooked and will become regulars. It's so nice to get great Thai food in a comfortable, clean setting with great service. Can't wait to go again. read more

I can't even explain in words how great our lunch was here. My in-laws brought us here while we were visiting this weekend. They love this place and I knew it was good when we walked in and the Friday lunch was almost full. So I tried the green macha tai tea and it was tasty! Then we ordered be crispy shrimp rolls. Really really good and could be addicting. My wife chose the pineapple fried rice and I ordered the L5 Drunken noodles with pork. Both of the dishes were extremely tasty. What really noticed was it took about 15-20 minutes to get our order but it was pricing hot, and I knew it was made fresh. Boy, did I notice that in every savory bite! I consider my rating more around 3.5 rather than 4. Pad thai , as one would guess, is a Thai restaurant, nestled in South county. There is standard Americanized Thai fare, including, ofcourse, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, which we got. The drunken noodles were chewy and freshly cooked. The chicken was unfortunately chewy and dry. The flavor leaned too sweet for the drunken noodles. I would consider the prices a little on the steeper side for the portion served with each entree at almost 16 dollars. There is vegan friendly section on the menu and also some dishes in a pan Asian theme like Gen Tso chicken, Udon noodles, which is helpful. The service was attentive despite how busy it was. Overall, given lack of good Thai food options in South county and St Louis county, Pad Thai is a reasonable restaurant to frequent. I'll have to try one of the Thai curries next time. read more

Pad Thai is my favorite place to go for Thai food in STL. Their service is always so friendly and fast. You can pick your spice level for a lot of things on their menu, which I love. My bf loves to get the thai teas they serve. We usually get thai fried rice, lo mein/pad thai. For meat, we usual get either General Tso or (my favorite) Garlic and Peppers with spice level 2. The portions are really good here, you can usually share any entree with another person and it will be very fulfilling. It's always clean when we go inside and they're usually always playing some cute music. I love how in warmer weather you have the option of sitting outside. Definitely give this place a try if you're craving Thai food! read more

When we get there, we ordered chicken satay, fried rice and pork Pad Thai, we waited for 30 minutes for the chicken satay and asked my waitress twice, finally we got it and it's room temperature, we waited for another 35 minutes for fried rice and the noodles, fried rice stick together, I thought that's the sticky rice but it's regular white rice, the meat is room temperature and the noodles taste terrible, they put too much sugar in it, I asked for extra tofu, they didn't put it in, when I mentioned It, they took it back and just put it on top, the tofu still cold, I will never go back and can I give them one star I saw a couple came to the restaurant after us, they order appetizer, sushi and a curry dish, from order it to done with the dining only 35 minutes, and we stay there over one hour 45 minutes! YUMMM!! A hidden gem in South County! They have a great lunch special with a select menu, includes 2 crab rangoons or a spring roll. I've tried so many different options here, all for take out but the restaurant itself is very clean and has a good vibe. Takeout is super easy, you can order online for either curbside pickup or walk into the restaurant to pickup. My order is always ready when I arrive (within 30 mins). The Udon Noodle Special and Pad See Ew have been my favorite items! The General Tso's chicken is also delicious. We heard of this place for a while through friends. We decided to stop by during our weekend trip to Saint Louis, and it did not disappoint. It is located in a plaza with lot of parking spaces. Been going to Pad Thai ever since they opened all those many years ago. Been through menu changes and physical expansion and the quality of food has never wavered from five stars. Particular favorites are the Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Pad Cashew Nut, and Sriracha Noodles. Add some appetizers such as Crispy Egg Roles and Crab Rangoon and the meal is perfect. Portions are generous and there are always leftovers to take home. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick, efficient, and cheerful. The restaurant is bright and clean and nice quiet ambiance. Parking is plentiful which is great because Pad Thai does get busy, especially in the evening. Definitely my go-to place for Thai food. read more

Pad Thai sits on the corner of a strip mall. There are handicapped spaces not far from the door. There are two doors to open, so not wheelchair friendly. The restaurant is an open room, and well lit. There were no other patrons when we entered, but several tables filled up as we dined. The menu is fairly large, so the waitress had to come back to us repeatedly before we decided. I got a Siam curry, and added tofu and subbed brown rice for white. I asked for a "2" heat level, which was perfect for me. The brown rice was a mix of brown and wild rice, and it wasnt worth the extra price. The tofu was an extra $3 as well, so I was a bit annoyed when I got the bill. The curry itself was tasty, and i will add even more veggies when I heat up my leftovers. My dining companion got the crab fried rice, and it looked so good. They were pleased with the flavor too. Both of the other tables appeared to have gotten thai iced tea, and it looked good enough to make a return trip. Pad Thai is a solid place to eat, if not a little overpriced. read more

This place is consistently great. I come here regularly and even order to go. I have tried multiple dishes but my favorite of theirs is probably the red curry at a spice level 3 or 4. They've got a couple seats outside if it's nice outside and inside their decorations are pleasant and clean and it's not overly cluttered. We had different lunch specials from what we usually order, both were very good. I had Pad Ka Pao Chicken with white rice, which is L16 on the lunch menu. It's billed as a "must try street food". I happened to check my phone and saw that my order was ready for pickup...30 minutes sooner than they had said. Of course I to race up there to get it so it wouldn't be cold when I got home. I asked the guy behind the counter why it was ready so much earlier. He said 'that's just an estimate' So, I should just show up 30 minutes early and hope for the best? Took myself on a solo date night and Pad Thai was fantastic. Upon arriving, welcomed immediately by the nice staff and was sat very quickly. Once sat, I was greeted by my server and reviewed some of his favorite items on the menu. He suggested I try to Sriracha Noodles Spice Level 5 (I like spicy) and I opted with the Spring Rolls to start. Spring Rolls were well done, light and airy and delicious. The dipping sauce was a perfect compliment. As for the Sriracha Noodles, I was a big fan. The chicken added was well cooked and flavorful and the noodles had a fantastic sriracha sauce that brightened up the dish fantastically. I very much enjoyed both items and walked away satisfied without feeling overly full. I did learn after that while the menu says the spice level goes to 5, you can ask for up to 10! Loved learning this and will definitely hit a higher hot level next go around. Great experience overall! read more
