    Pad Thai

Came in and service was top notch- everyone was truly so kind right off the bat. Once we got seated and ordered, the food came out very quickly and was really fresh. The spring rolls and crab rangoons were delicious, as well as the pad Thai. The price to portions ration was extremely good and everything had great flavor. There is so much on the menu I want to go back to try. They also had lots of vegetarian options which is great!

Picked up carry out. Requested 7pm. Was ready at 710. Staff was friendly. Small space indoors. Patio is cute with lights for ambiance. Apps- potstickers steamed, spring rolls Had pad thai hot. Tasty. Not too peanuty or tomatoey. Panang curry hot. This was best dish in my opinion. Coconut milk based curry. Pineapple Fried rice mild. Not alot of flavor. Prik pao cashew mild. Hot was spicy enough for me. They offer thai hot for those wanting super spicy!

Flavor lives here at Meyou Thai in Webster Groves. We kicked things off with the shrimp rolls, hot, and crispy. Then I got the larb salad and subbed in shrimp, because I'm living that #StLouisPescatarianApproved life. Whatever spice mix they're using? It's citrusy, spicy, herby, and downright addictive. Ace got the drunken noodles with shrimp, which were also fantastic, but I didn't really notice because I was too into my salad that I did NOT share. The restaurant is an unassuming small eatery. The patio is fantastic. Service was wonderful. Welcoming and willing to answer questions.

A friend suggested this place for dinner and it was a good choice! She's only ever had takeaway and we dined in this time and sat at the patio. Service was quick, the food came out fast! Portions are decent for the price (we even had enough to bring home). I ordered the kra pao and she had the green curry. Kra pao - This was not bad although I wish it had more of the basil flavour. I got the medium since I wasn't sure how spicy it would be (I can handly my spice so I'll probably get the spicy next time). 4/5 Green curry - I enjoyed this one more! The aubergine alone tasted great and it had nice flavour. 5/5 Great spot! Would come back here again next time.

Came here with a few friends and it was fine overall. The place is super small inside, maybe fits around 15 people max. The menu is pretty simple but has all the basics you'd expect. We ordered wings as an appetizer and I know is kind of random for a Thai place, but they were actually pretty good. I got the chicken pad Thai and it was too sweet for my taste and kind of grainy? Hard to explain. I was starving so I still ate it but it wasn't my favorite pad Thai. The waitress was really nice and a bit shy. Overall, it was okay. Nothing bad, just neutral. I'd recommend it if you're nearby, but it's not in my top five Thai spots.

My favorite place for thai food and you have to dine in when you try it! I got it to-go once and I felt like the quality wasn't great (keep in mind that I'm about a 25 minute drive away, so your choice). I love dining in, the food comes out hot and fresh. It takes a bit (maybe 15-20 minutes) for the food to come out. But, I always enjoy the company when dining in. Their quality of food is great, and my favorite thing to order is the pad see ew with beef. The pad thai is a second best with chicken. I've also gotten the crab fried rice, green curry with tofu, yellow curry with chicken, and pineapple fried rice. I keep the dishes at a 3 or a medium. And I have loved every dish!

I visited for the first time on a Friday night and ordered online for takeout. My confirmation email shared that my order would be ready in about approximately 20 minutes, and it was ready to go in 20 minutes on the dot! Their system for keeping track of orders seemed very organized and efficient. Employees were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was packed. Nearly every table was full! Takeout came in durable plastic containers. I ordered the Pad See Eew with no egg, and my partner had the Crispy Chicken with medium spice level. We both loved our meals, and I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality! We also really enjoyed their Crab Rangoon. I also noticed that none of our food was super greasy, which I particularly loved. I'll be back soon!

first time trying thai in stl and i was not disappointed! the service was great and they have both an inside and outside eating area. the spices added to the food made it feel like authentic thai. would reorder the pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles!

As much as I hate to say this, I feel it is needed. I wrote THE very first review for Meyou when they first opened. I included pictures of the menu. I would have given a 10 star rating then. Having not been back for 8 months as we moved out of town, we were excited to eat here as one of our favorites in STL. We learned that new owners have taken it over after ordering. I'm not sure why they chose to change excellent recipes, but alas, they had. We ordered the Pad Thai with veggies and the Penang with tofu. The Pad Thai was not as rich tasting, but still good. Unfortunately, we had to send back the Penang as it was like soup. There was some flavor, but nothing as good as it was earlier in 2024. Previously, the Penang would come out with exquisite flavors, but the recipe was changed. This dish was no longer over the top, but now just a run of the mill average Thai dish. The server was awesome and understood the issue we had explained. So no issues in having it deleted from our check. We had very high expectations and maybe that was our mistake, and not the restaurants fault as this is now how the new owners do it. If we ever go back, we will ask the question about if the dish is soupy or thick. Oh well, this is a really hard business to maintain. I truly wish the new owners the best of luck!!

I randomly wanted to eat Thai this Sunday. The place that I wanted to go to was close so I found this place while searching Thai places to eat. Parking here is kind of harder to find since it is mostly street parking. This place has both inside and patio seatings. We opted for inside seating. My boyfriend got the Drunken noodle, while I got the kao soi entree. I also got the Cha Ma-now drink. This is Thai tea with lime instead of milk. It does taste unique but I would definitely just order the regular thai tea at my next visit since I am more familiar with that taste. The spice levels have several options. I picked mild for the Kao soi and my boyfriend picked medium for his entree. If you don't want spicy, the mild was prefect for me on this particular day. The portion size is great. The waitress lady does check on us pretty often.

Service was nice. Outside seating is nice for good weather. Sad I didn't find a papaya salad option on the menu. Pineapple fried rice was seasoned with some curry powder. Duck red curry was good but sweet from the coconut milk. Drunken noodles was my favorite dish of the three. When they say spicy, they mean it, so be careful. Overall, good experience. Would come back

    Cucumber salad

Really good! Crab Rangoon + sauce were perfect sweet/sour combo and they give you a lot. I also got cucumber salad and was hoping for more of the traditional version but it was just white vinegar/sugar. Still good though, and you get a lot. I also got the tom kha soup (with chicken) this was the star or the show. Only $8 and was incredible. Will be back to try other menu items!!!!

    Are most dishes spicy?

I always get the Drunken Noodles and they can be made without spiciness! I ask for mild and I wouldn't call them spicy (and I don't love spicy food). I suspect many dishes could be made without spice at all since they make each dish to order.

It is a Trojan horse for one of the best burgers in St. Louis (my wife says I'm being dramatic for calling it THE best; I say I am not NOT going back for another). We enjoyed everything we order: the pork belly burnt ends and cashew chicken wings, and a coffee & cardamom old fashioned that sounds like a personality disorder but tastes like a vibe, smoky, a touch sweet, and very drinkable year-round. The Sam Elliott burger, BBQ sauce, bacon, crunchy onions, brioche, is named for a man who has never disappointed anyone, and neither does the sandwich. And the meatloaf is NOT your grandma's brick: tender, charred at the edges, laid over silky mashed potatoes with broccolini, perhaps closer to a chop steak than a loaf in the best possible way. Vibe is farm-chic: old church pews, repurposed interior doors, a proper bar up front, plus a patio and rooftop for when the weather cooperates. Fun fact -- it's named after the blue duck Billy Madison paints in elementary school, which is a fantastic piece of trivia and tells you absolutely nothing accurate about the actual restaurant. 4.7 Stars. Picking Nits: the counter-order setup is efficient, but it sets expectations in the wrong direction for the first 90 seconds, you brace for fast-casual and instead get something considerably more ambitious. Food comes out fast once you've ordered, which is great if you're hungry and slightly jarring if you wanted a slow, lingering dinner. And the Billy Madison naming is charming trivia but entirely misleading as a vibe preview, no complaints about the actual restaurant, just the branding expectations it sets. If The Blue Duck were a character: Ron Swanson. Hear me out. If Ron ate here, he'd be suspicious of the entire experience until his first bite of protein -- the counter ordering, the repurposed doors, a burger named after a fellow mustachioed American, all of it registering as potentially too clever. Then the Sam Elliott hits his plate, he takes one bite, and the skepticism dissolves into the quiet respect of a man who has found his people. Looks rustic. Has strong feelings about meat. Secretly sophisticated -- plays saxophone in a jazz club under a fake name, builds his own furniture, would 100% approve of the farm-chic decor once the protein has spoken. Presents as simple. Isn't.

We kicked things off with the fried deviled eggs, which arrived neither fried nor particularly deviled -- just cold little reminders that hope is fleeting. Cocktails landed squarely in "General Public" territory. My Squatty Potty showed up lukewarm, like it had been loitering at the bar contemplating its life choices instead of making it to the table piping hot. A chicken Caesar salad was perfectly fine... if you enjoy playing hide-and-seek with the chicken. The breakfast burger came on an English muffin with what might be the most emotionally unavailable portion of hash brown casserole I've ever seen -- tiny, distant, and gone too soon. Then there's the Scream Burger. Marketed as ghost-pepper spicy, priced like it's the main event, and delivered with all the heat of a polite Midwestern handshake. Dry, bland, and somehow bold enough to charge me an extra dollar for more mayo -- because nothing says "premium burger experience" like a condiment upcharge to make it edible. My husband's Pork Pountine? Imagine fries sprinkled with a few bacon bits like confetti at a party nobody wanted to attend. We came in excited because Eat Crow in Soulard sets the bar high. Definitely higher end, very fresh, well plated. We both left pretty full. Steak was cooked perfectly. I could somewhat justify the price of it based on the quality, but paired with the overall experience, it just wasn't for us. My husband and I have been to MANY expensive, higher end restaurants, both across the St. Louis region, across the nation, and across many a foreign country (Europe, Asia, Central America). For a $500 meal (two coursed meals and wine pairing), this just didn't hit the mark for us. We had a 7:30PM reservation for my Husband's birthday. We did not get our first course until 8:15. We went over 30 minutes in between some courses. Our wine glasses were empty most of the meal. The overall "experience" took almost 3 hours for four courses. We've been to restaurants where the meal was 2.5 - 3 hours, but it was not us waiting around. Here, we spent most of the time just waiting, wondering when our next course would be. The server gave lots of excuses, mostly "there was a big top in the bar room" but for the cost of the meal, that's not really an excuse. Especially when the restaurant wasn't full and we had made a reservation. We literally talked about getting up and walking out at one point. There was another couple that had an 8PM reservation, and they were getting the same courses as us, but before us. There was also a Gentleman that sat next to us who came in around 8:30, had three courses, and was out within an hour. This is St. Louis. The other few restaurants in the region at that price point have been white glove. Never an empty glass, attentive service, never waiting between courses. Honestly, I was somewhat appalled by my experience here, especially reading the other reviews. It was just not good.
